Hi FIH-FBO Community
On the Eve of chrismas I am adding one more star for our device.
This is Shendu OS rom basically fine tuned for our device
It has
ICS Camera
File explorer with system access
3 shendu themes
Tweaked to make it stable
ADW launcher
Beats Audio libs
INIT.D tweaks
Bravia
and many more
Bugs
After selecting Shendu Launcher, settings window will not work ( Default bug). you need to select ADW Launcher to select setting.
and many which I don't know

Do full wipe (Data and dalvik cache)

I installed TWRP on Android One 2nd G. Tools, after reboot stand Stock Android recovery. How?

[Kernel] NN-Kernel-LP-T710/810-5.1.1

I don't consider myself a dev, but I think I'm a pretty good hack. So may I present to you.....
NN-Kernel​
This will work on the T710 and T810, Wifi only models. I built this for my BNN Nook, and I haven't really come up with a name for the kernel yet. NN so far, stands for "No Name" Or "Neked Nook" which is the Rom that I might be releasing shortly.
You flash this at your own risk. There's the discaimer. :silly: ​V1.3 and up - I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU BURN UP YOUR TABLET! BE CAREFUL OF THE OVERCLOCKS AND KEEP THEM REASONABLE.
Install instructions:
You MUST HAVE ROOT and TWRP installed to flash this!!
It's built on Lollipop 5.1.1 - I have no idea what will happen if you flash this on anything else!!
Flash kernel then wipe cache and dalvic
Reboot and profit!!

I would think it should. But I don't know for sure. 710 and 810 share roms with just a build.prop adjustment from what I can tell. If you're brave, make a backup and flash it. Let me know if it works.

I know that this kernel is for the 710 but installed on my 810 and when booted the screen became unresponsive, flickering all the time. At second boot didn't pass from the Samsung logo. I had to restore from a backup.

Installed and working well. No issues so far.

If anyone can test OTG, I'd appreciate it very much.
I have an T815Y permissive kernel in testing right now - If anyone can get me the stock boot.img for OG5.

Flashed the kernel. Lost root but flashed Supersu 2.66 beta thru recovery, this time everything seems to work flawlessly. Will continue reporting as time passes. Thanks!

I don't see any issues with the T810 kernel. Ran back to back Antutu benches before and after flashing and I got 67000 compared to the previous 63000 (if that proves anything). I'm running OptimalROM and didn't lose root after flashing. Will report back if I find any bugs.

Mine is working with liboencrypto.so renamed, also I don't get HD but that is not related to this kernel, with stock kernel (rooted) had the same problem.

Go to /system/lib and find liboencrypto.so and rename it to liboencrypto.so.back then reboot.

Yes. Rename it to liboencrypto.so.back and reboot. Now Netflix should work.

SM-9500 Kernel Repack

Hi. I am trying to make a new n9500 custom kernel.My device unlocked. I compiled kernel from samsung sources. Unpacked kernel with mkboot then changed the file kernel with image. dtb. gz renamed it kernel then repacked. But it doesn't boot giving seandroid enforced error. Tried without kernel modification repacked with change compiler, also used samsung 's compiler result is the same. tried also replace with image. gz with kernel. After that kicked to a black odin screen.
What is the problem?

So if the response in terminal is "can't find service: surfaceflinger" does that mean that hwc isn't activated yet ?
Already flashed this module on ViperOS with magisk 17

However logs in terminal are
"h/w composer state: h/w composer present and disabled"

Yes, on the 01/05 build, dumpsys etc. says it's enabled and present.

is there anything like this for other devices or is hwc only an issue on this one?
