Only 2 calendar items in homescreen?!?

Hi, i was wondering if you could with a reg edit, change the max 2 calendar items on your homescreen? so that you could have say 15 upcoming appointments instead of max 2?
and maybe make it possible to scroll down the larger list, just as you do with your favorites under "internet"??
i use my calendar alot and this would really make the diamond shine for me
i really hope there is someone out there who can tell me how to do this!

Sure, linking to the google search string is funny, sarcastic and all, but is there actually a solution?
I think not.

What kind of answer is that??
What Riel is trying to say.. in an extremely polite and civilised manner (which should be appreciated) is that: the topic has been discussed here already and there are other threads on the topic. These threads can be found by executing a simple search on the forum.. or even on google.
So stick to those and don't make new ones for the same topic.

Should I buy Locale ?

Anyone use the locale app? I'm trying to decide if I should buy it. Also is there anything similar and better?
Thanks in advance.
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App. Transcribed by voice recognition. Awesome.
Isn't locale the app that's just an expensive version of tasker?
-Sent from my Nexus One Superphone.
Do you use tasker? How well does it actually work?
No, you should buy Tasker.
I don't use Tasker's location profiles, so I can't speak for that, but I use it quite extensively for home/work/car/dock profiles and to execute shell commands, and it has never failed. It gives Trackball Alert Pro a run for the money as most important app on my N1. The developer is very active on Google Groups. He responds to feature requests, unanswered questions, etc.
A word of warning though: you will have to spend a little time with it before you "get" it.
Lifehacker has a few excellent posts about it here
There is also a thread in the Themes/Apps part of this forum with some tasks you could try

+2 or try Setting Profiles if you want something more basic but still functional.
Locale is a rip-off.
+3 Tasker beats everything else by a mile.
I've used the beta Locale and bought Setting Profiles and Tasker.
The only reliable one for location seems to be Tasker (based on my use of Network location only - although Wifi Near and GPS are supported).
Have a look at the Google Groups for Tasker, and main Tasker site (http://tasker.dinglisch.net/). Pent is the very active and approachable developer, but there are a number of active posters on the group forum who are willing to help.
It is (as has been said above) quite complicated to get to grips with, but I wouldn't be without it now.
Locale was a nice try, but pretty much weaksauce.. Tasker is the one to get. ie: What those guys said.

Screen physical dimensions

Hi guys,
I apologize for making a new post just for this but couldnt find this information anywhere...
Could someone with the galaxy tab be able to measure the physical dimensions of the screen itself please? Just the width and height of it in millimeters would be fine.
Thank you
Sent from my HTC Desire using XDA App
Well we know that the screen is 7" (diagonally) therefore you should be able to use Pythagoras' Theorem to calculate the lengths your looking for....
Google it if you get bored of waiting for an answer.
In the meantime........ moved to Q&A...

That wouldn't work, you'd be looking for 2 unknowns with only one equation...
@OP, don't have a ruler handy, sorry.

Hmm I thought it was possible if you knew the angles....
Oh well, I always was crap at maths...
I reckon it's about 91mm x 154mm. ish.
Hope that's what you needed.

[ICON PACK] Flat Candy Icons by Adam Hollister

Hello everyone!
This is a thread I'm restarting about Flat Candy Icons which is an icons set I released on Google Play a couple of days ago.
The thread was closed down because I hadn't included a free APK.
Sorry guys! I didn't realise the policy! Here's a free apk I can give you guys to try out!. It's an early version of the icon pack that I tested with some users before deciding to continue, there are about 95 icons I think and you can apply them via launcher settings to check them out!
https://www.dropbox.com/s/v3lzspcznhhle3w/FlatCandyIcons.apk
This is my first thread here on XDA, however I have frequented the forums here for the past few years and I'm grateful for all the help I've found amongst the community.
If this thread is in the wrong place, please let me know so that I can move it.
Hope you like my work and please comment with any feedback you may have!

I really do love your icon set but let's hope it doesn't land up in trouble again. Since, XDA policy mentions that it should be an equivalent version of your icon pack. Keep up your great work on.

Ok well in that case I guess I need to close this thread. Might sound stupid but I can't find that option anywhere, where can I close the thread?
I understand if you want to close the thread because providing the full version for free means not earning a profit and having people just not pay a cent for the icon pack. But hopefully you can make a new thread just to keep us updated on the app and new icons you're adding to each update.

Report your post, ask the mod to shut it down in your request. He'll shut it down mentioning your request.

OK sure I'll do that. I just won't put the link in the thread this time. I'm still a bit worried that might be breaking the rules still. It's always the problem with forums as large and diffuse as this one, the way it all works eventually becomes quite confusing to new users, even though long term users might find it simple.
Thread closed - OP request!

Since this question has already been asked, I bet this thread gets closed before a forum gets created.
Apparently you can properly request Gear 2 forums here. GL
Thanks. I have been looking. I must have missed the question.

I hope you didn't take my response as being rude or disciplinary. I was trying to be funny in regards to (you) having to request Gear 2 forums in the first place, smh! Of course you'd think there would be Gear 2 forums already since the watch officially became available last week. But no, I think all the hate mongering over Tizen has caused a delay... but neither Pebble or Sony smartwatches run Android, go figure. But hey, at least there's an Android Wear forum for a non-existent device
