ATM, we can't. But in the next officiall update release of EMUI 10 for P30 Pro it will be available. I'm on EMUI 10 v168 and it's not implemented.
Cheers,
SilviuO
In version v173 this is also missing ...

Are you guys sure? Well one question asked... "P30 pro emui 10 no Colorful AOD" and Huaweis answer was..
"Hi! Thank you for supporting Huawei Products. We understand that you really wanted such feature. We will take this as a feedback to better improve our future product updates. Thank you and have a great day."
"The information in the review / update review in question applies to the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro only.
We apologize for the confusion and will pass on the information to our colleagues.
Greetings, Huawei Team"
It's all about marketing and nothing else. AOD skins are nothing that users should be waiting for as the crucial hardware and software combination is already here. Mate 30 phones lacking Google Services simply need some bling bling...
Pretty much everything in the new Mate 30 Pro AOD can already be achieved using third-party apps, with more customisation available too.

As we have TWRP now (https://www.xda-developers.com/twrp-honor-view-10-huawei-mate-10-pro/#disqus_thread) and Face Unlock is ported on some phones (https://www.xda-developers.com/honor-view-10-face-unlock-honor-8-pro-emui-8-devices/#disqus_thread) is there anyone who tried it on Mate 10 Pro?
Tried myself and it is not working.
come on
i try huaweipay use in l29
I think this could work: https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-9/development/port-unlock-mate-9-oreo-emui8-t3751640
It is the same link, it is not working.
It's not working with Mate 10 Pro. It lacks a lot of files that the Mate 9 already had, the face recognition service for one

Yeah hoping you to find a way to do it
I just bought a P20 Pro and try to install ARCORE apps. However I am surprised ARCORE is not compatible with P20 Pro!!! I just checked the official ARCORE web site... only P20 (not Pro) is on the list
You are totally correct, why were you inder the impression that the P20 Pro is compatible?

Arcore is totally compatible with HWCLT so also P20 Pro will be.
At least reading from official websites.

Huawei said “The HUAWEI P20 Pro is an ARCore supported device” on their official website...
Does anyone have any update on this? I tried tweeting Hauwei and Google but no response from either. I think it's crazy that they did a comprehensive demo of ARcore working on the P20 Pro at their launch event and not a word about it since. They even had CEO of Google France at the press conference talking about it!

Source?
It seems a couple of P20 variants are listed as being officially supported (EML-L29, EML-L09 https://developers.google.com/ar/discover/#supported_devices) but no mention of the Pro. That said the Galaxy S9 is not officially supported yet either so it is probably just a case of the team updating official support in the next few weeks.
In the meantime I think there are methods of patching the apk to work on other devices (see https://github.com/thestr4ng3r/arcore-patch) I may look further into it if I get chance later.

I couldn’t post any image or url here cos I am new XDA user. It is on HUAWEI official site. Click P20 Pro, then scroll down and click “more”. You will find it.

I also think so. But it is quite strange that HUAWEI show “ARCore” as a main feature on their official site as a main feature... but it is not yet support. But seems no one is caring about this except me

Nope, can't find anything. I'm getting the Norwegian site as default though. Although I saw the stuttering demo from the french P20 Pro launch. So basically, they have confirmed it.
Let's hope they're ironing out some bugs before release.
Not too impressed with framrates though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DsdeeLp9A7s
My gf's S7 is also supposed to be supported ( https://developers.google.com/ar/discover/ ) But Google Play says her phone isn't supported.
Basically, a normal Google product launch
I saw its available on apkpure but is the ARCORE just a framework and needs a compatible app to actually do anything? There is no icon for example

I got it installed today. ?
Hi all,
I just bought a Huawei P20 pro (CLT-L09) and made all firmware updates (no root).
I cannot install arcore from google play store (Device not compatible).
I tried to install apk files from apk mirror (I tried different versions from 1.3 to 1.5) but when I try to launch an app using arcore, I always have a black screen). When I try to launch "Measure" from google, i have a message telling me that my device is not compatible...
Do some of you have the same issue ?
Do someone have any solution ?
ARCore runs fine on my P20 Pro because it is supported.
/ Magnus
Have it installed in on mine from the play store works fine
guys please help me i need to enable this function i know that you could enable it in p20 pro and in mate 10 pro!
I appreciate English might not be your mother tongue, but I haven't got a clue what your issue is.
What exactly do you mean by register calls? And do you really have a mate 20 pro? If so maybe you'd be better off posting to the mate 20 threads.
Mate 20 & pro go on sale in November...

By all accounts EMUI 10 is close to dropping for Huawei devices, bringing an overhaul of visual changes.
Anyone have any leaks or images to share?
Be nice to get rid of that bloody settings screen for literally anything else.
Hopefully it'll be lighter and less bloated with easier customisations.
Or is that asking too much
Update 10/09/19
https://9to5google.com/2019/09/09/emui-10-road-map/amp/
P20 pro will receive their update in 2020 which seems like a million miles away but it'll come around, least it's happening I suppose.
Got a small update today 1.74MB
Wasn't the big update apparently..
Has anyone received emui 10 yet?
Beta program starts September 8th.
Android Q, EMUI 10.
So they made an announcement that they were going to make an announcement??
Jesus.

Jokes aside. I don't think we'll see beta release by october.

P20 pro is of course in the official list.
There was no doubt in my mind that it will get it.
Once it's released, firmwares will drop on halab and FF..
Then I'll just be grabbing it and installing it

Ok let me rephrase it. I know Charlotte will eventually get emui 10. It's been officially stated by Huawei.
Beta program is a different story though. Not all devices that get official release are part of beta program available for global users.

(I'd just woke up pal, was super early and eyes hadn't opened quite just then, was just trying to avoid a crap thread full of negativity, but yea I get you )
Tbh the info out there is pretty sketchy at best.
The only device previewing it in China is the p30 pro. Which there is a video of.
I was so interested in the dark modes personally.
And ironically, I've just found a bunch of 9.1 emui themes which are actually working really well and are even theming 3rd party apps like WhatsApp, colours aren't awesome and there's no real editor of any kind but it's a step towards what I'm after..
Looking at the emui 10 video (which is probably a late version and will look identical to the final)
They've retained those bloody colourful icons in settings, the launcher is the same? I don't use it but thought they may have changed it.
Guess we'll see. Looks like they're going down the same route Samsung went down for literally the same reasons (OS too heavy)

Yea it was a nap mate. China / Huawei were getting a bit big a bit too quick for Google / USA, so Trump taxed their ass a bit, but overall Huawei was never going to eliminated from selling devices.
They just wanted to tax them a bit and let them know who's the ***** and who's not.
There's too much money involved to call it a day.
That being said, huawei seem to have had some insight into this as there is no way theyve constructed a full OS in that time, it must have been pre planned in order to have got as far as they have..
Being smart, they're protecting themselves..
I think one other thing it does mean tho, bootloaders are staying locked down.
It would take a very strange set of circumstances to turn that decision over.
Just can't see that ever happening.
This video claims GMS installation on Mate 40 Pro and uses similar method as Googlefier (local backup restore, LZPlay, patched MicroG). It did not work for me. Not sure if this is just click bait or if there is a difference between international and chinese version of Mate 40 Pro.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ReOU...annel=JohnWang
I have an international Mate 40 Pro (Germany).
I am getting an error message when I start LZPlay and it's not asking for permissions.
doesn't work
Afaik there is no Possible way for now to Install GMS on EMUI 11 Devices. I also have a International Mate 40 Pro and i love it besides that i can't use 3 of my Apps which i need from time to time. I hope someone finds a way pretty soon

Can someone please tell my why LZplay works on chinese version and does not on international?
Can the Lzplay apk be patched?
I've found an App which gives you GMS on the Mate 40 Pro, although its more of a Virtual Machine you run on your Mate 40 Pro so it's not as Snappy like the Phone itself but it works. So if you need to do some Banking or use one of thoose E-Scooter Apps it'll do the Job just right.
Basically you just need to Install the VMOS Pro apk, and boot the Android 7.1 System Enable the Google Services in the Settings, restarting the App and you're good to go.

Notice: Gpay also doesn't work with this Method

It doesn't work with the Global version of Mate 40 Pro, only with the Chinese one...
Does anyone with some Android technical background understand why? I have a feeling 99% of the community is just waiting for something to happen without even trying things out and even wanting to understand what's happening under the hood...
I would be happy to debug things but just need a hint where to look/start.
Is there any info what LZplay exactly did? Did Huawei leave stubs for GMS in the system partition and LZplay leveraged escalated device administrator rights to do things?
i have a Chinese version. i installed GMS on my phone and it works well so far. dont know if it will be banned in the future.
https://medium.com/@topjohnwu/huawe...oor-to-reinstall-google-services-c3a5dd71a7cd
Good article at least for my own education. So no stubs but undocumented API. I guess Huawei removed those in international firmware of Mate 40 just to comply more with Google legal ban. But in China they feel more comfortable and left those in. What a mess based on geopolitics...
MDM SDK is available, the question is if Huawei will even approve the apk signing with speficic calls...

Based on the Weather Widget Location he has a Chinese Version in which you can Install GMS. Doesn't matter to me i (we?) need a way for the International Version...
Dear friends! Would anyone describe in English what to do and how to get to the international version?
Hi to everyone.
I have a Mate 30 Pro 5G LIO-AN00, it's a Chinese device with EMUI 11 updated. I have got it since december, 2019 with Google services working nice ... but 2 days ago I make a mistake so I lost my Google Services.
I followed twice videos of John Wang and at the previous video of him I followed you all the steps RIGHT and at the end of the video I received a lot of Google notifications that my device is not certified.
Then I followed to him at second video in order to delete Google notifications step by step but at the end Google notifications continues ... .... What can I do ???
Before this I reset my Mate 30 Pro and I started from 0. I only use WiFi network, not SIM card .... but it's impossible to delete Google notifications ... :crying: :crying: :crying:
Any advice, please ??
Thank you so much in advance !!!!

Wow, that is awesome !! GMS on a chinese mate 40 RS. Thanks for sharing. I do have a few questions.
1. Where are you using the device? Are you in the USA geographically?
2. Are there any problems with sending and receiving group texts? i.e. Do you ever get a problem where you message on a group text, but the message arrives to the group members individually instead of in the group? I had this problem when i was using a chinese find x2 pro in the US on Tmobile, otherwise it worked perfectly
3. does google assistant "hey google" and google news feed work?
Thanks a bunch!
