Finally someone from Xiaomi has left some sort of feedback
https://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=4579857&page=3#pid32577323
seems that the problem will be submitted to dev team
How do you know it is Xiaomi dev?

Why is the text in my status bar duplicated like this?

I just installed version eu 8.11.29 the error as shown

Seems like a ROM glitch/bug. It's better if you give a detailed report at the EU Forum.

It seems to be a great kernel according to many posts, but I cannot find any dedicated XDA thread. There is one there but I haven't tried it : http://en.miui.com/thread-3479237-1-1.html

You can have a look into the Rom, Kernel, etc. section in this Forum here and perhaps take a look for a AOSP based project.

MIUI 12 Clear Cache setting

Where can you find the clear cache option in miui 12? I do not know how to clear my cache anymore. Its gone in the storage section.

I thought it was in security and then cleaner, that's how I've always done it anyway, or go to storage and select free up space, should take you to the cleaner app which is within security

Ya i kind of removed the cleaner app before so nothing happens when i tap the free up space. Since i can do it in miui11 without the cleaner app.

Ah okay, didn't do it any other way myself, sorry not sure of any other way to do it, hopefully someone else can help, but your previous method may just be removed in miui 12

That is also what i think it happed, probably removed now. So maybe i just missed something in miui 12 about that option. Seems like i had to do it one by one for now.
