Problems with notifications pairing Mi Band and Amazfit watch - Redmi K20 Pro / Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro Questions & Answe

Hi guys. I have a Mi Band 4 and a Amazfit Pace watch and until now I haven't any problems at all.
I have a Mi 9T Pro Global and after update the system to MIUI 11 version 11.0.1 my problems started. Either the band and the watch can connect to the phone but I can't receive any notifications. I read that Android 10 changed something about permissions and maybe you need to enable it manually but I checked and they are enabled. I disabled and enabled and no change. In Mi Fit app it says that the notification service is not available and that I need to gave permission to Mi Fit app but as I said, it has the permission. Even if I disable and enable again this status doesn't change. In Amazfit app I can choose the apps to send me notifications but it doesn't make any difference because I don't receive them. The only thing that worked until now is uninstal and install again the app because it asks for me to give it permisison, so I give and notification works. But when I close the app or anything like that it stops working again.
I don't know what to do anymore.

MIUI kills Whatsapp service

Hey hey
so I've got a problem, since I switched to the Mi5 yesterday I noticed that my Whatsapp messages are delayed.. looked it up on the internet and found "solutions"
-activated autostart for whatsapp + google services
-set no restrictions under 'manage battery and performance'
-locked it in memory and allowed every permission
but still 10 mins after I lock my phone the Whatsapp service gets killed....
Running latest 6.7.14 (MIUI8)

Notifications on time

Suggestions in the settings is NOT a bug

In the settings there are suggestions that cannot be removed. This is not a fault of Xiaomi, Google delivers the stock without any option to remove it. Companies like Nokia and Motorola implemented an X at the top of each block to be removed, but it depends on the company.
Below the solution for motorola, note the X at the top.
Are you sure about this?
In this link the original poster is affected by this in what seems to be a pixel phone.

The notification bar with the battery display is not a Pixel phone.
You are right, it's probably an umidigi. I guess in both cases you get what you pay for.
No
Nope, you're wrong, the x button on top of settings suggestion is an AOSP feature implemented in Settings Suggestion app and due to a bug is not being shown. Also device personalization app which is responsible for app suggestions in quick switch can't operate because it's not a system app.
The correction must have come in stock then.
Ya, it's not a bug. Please don't fix it.
Bug or not bug, a Mi A3 user came up with a solution that works with Mi A2 too, does not require root and does not disable the searchbar.
Also Mi A3 has an option to hide suggested Apps in the app drawer.

Suggested apps is such a joke in android 10. There are times that only 2 or 3 apps are "suggested" and it then looks horrible. Also "suggestions" is just the last used apps, not much of a suggestion.

If xiaomi hasn't fixed this issue for the Mi A2 yet, try using this command in adb and see if it works:
Code:
adb shell settings put global setting_apps_suggestions_enabled 0
I was messing around with Setedit app on my Mi A3 and seems to be related with the app suggestions in launcher (on my device at least).

Question doesn't the incoming WhatsApp call appear on the screen?

See permissions in the Whatsapp app from the apps menu in MIUI.

Same here am using mi mix 4
Same issue on 11 ultra Chinese, nothing helps
Clear cache and if problem persist data
I just got my 11 ultra with cn ROM. Trust me, nothing you do will make it ring. Pretty much just flash to global ROM or eu ROM. I flash to eu ROM and everything works great. Gpay, Google duo, whatsapp calls, all notifications. Save the trouble and upgrade your software. There is a new stable version of global miui 13 just released and apparently it is also great so maybe try that

here is the solution and it will work
Try to give all the permissions you can to whatsapp, that worked for me.
Something unrelated but everyone must know: rentry.co/owot3
Did someone solve this problem? Still persistent even on custom ROMs for me

Question Apps notification problem, any solution?

Hello everyone, living in Europe and bought a X60 pro+ with OriginOS Chinese version. I already sync my old phone with it, removed tons of bloadware using ADB and the phone is almost perfect.
The only thing still not working 100% are push notifications. Some apps works always, like Whatsapp for example, but others, even after I enable notification, configure battery thing to allow the app to use more battery and other things, still not always work.
Anyone have any tip on how to solve the notifications and make it work properly always?
Thanks a lot!

Remove the bbk.pem app via adb. Check the app privileges and make sure "auto start" and/or "start" is given to specific apps to ensure it can run in background and send push notifications. In battery settings you can allow apps to consume power instead of intelligent handled, but the auto start setting in apps - permissions should do the trick

Question Xiaomi Home notifications

I have a Mi camera and the Xiaomi Home app.
For each movement the camera sends a notification on Xiaomi Home.
Unfortunately the do not disturb of MIUI does not allow you to exclude a specific app, so at night I either do not set do not disturb (and I wake up every half hour due to emails, LinkedIn, etc.) or I set do not disturb and I do not hear the notification in case of movement.
I found an app called Alertify that intercepts the notifications of the app I choose and changes it's sound, even ignoring the do not disturb.
However, Alertify works with notifications from all apps except Xiaomi Home.
I also tried a similar app (NotifiCon) which has the same problem, so I think the problem is Xiaomi Home.
Any hint, advice, alternative solution?
Thanks
Amazfit tools do the same. Don't add the mi home app but Xiaomi service framework instead and It will works

OMG it worked thanks a lot
Luckily Alerify allows to add manually an app, cos NotifiCon doesn't.
U know other similar apps?
