No such luck for me. Still listed as not certified in the play store.

By the way, it installed perfectly on my TMO converted handset. I installed overtop of A10 from the initial stable as I had no issue with it as a daily.

It means Google Pay, Netflix and other secure apps won't work, unless you root your device and install a Magisk module to fix it.

I do believe it is TMO devices only. However, all my apps work (Netflix, banking, Mobile Iron and the like). Google Pay is the only app not working currently.
Also, since I updated to the first A10, I can not connect Bluetooth to my car. It works fine with AA, but not by itself. It will connect to any other Bluetooth device I have though.

Almost all will work, the only problems that I am aware of - you will not find some applications on Google Play (like you will not be able to reinstall netflix app). Google Pay will not work.
It is just disappointing that we will need to wait for TMobile to certify 6013 devices for A10 before this problem (potentially) will go away.
Anybody else can confirm this problem on TMobile converted phones? Anybody do not see this problem on TMobile phones?

2.Browser stays Chinese even if set to Google or Bing.
3. LTE/GSM won't stick after reboot.

lte that wont stick after reboot is a known issue on all ported/patched roms.
No Issues on browser for me and led notifications work here

Mega glad to hear it is smooth. The GPE version was extremely smooth.

I'll check again on notifications but to be more specific it's not the browser it's self it's when you use the search feature it opens the browser but in Chinese. These are small things for me the headphones would be the biggest issue for me either way it's a great start.

I found two issues, I'm running with a Sprint M8. I downloaded a theme and couldn't apply it due to a server being down, I rebooted and then I got constant Themes FC. That and when I first boot into the ROM, I can't change my mobile data setttings to cdma/lte, I have to use a 3rd party app that gives me access to the "secret menu" and change it there

I haven't yet flashed this version but it's no where mention about security patch so may be there is no update on security patch. I am not sure about this.will tell you after flashing it.

Also there's a feature named "parallel apps" you can use WhatsApp, Twitter, instagram as dual apps. That's a good feature.
Looking pretty nice. Anyone know if there is a way to get notification icons for apps playing audio, plus music controls on lock screen?
Edit: Nvm, notification priority was set too low. I just had to change it to "all" for any app behaving this way. Everything is looking pretty sweet now!

I also had it on my sdcard, just installed. But it seems viper doesn't work completely? And always asks me to install drivers? Evet if I installed and rebooted phone? Do you also have this issue?

No I don't have that issue and nor viper tell me to install driver after flashing zip it's already installed. You just have to set selinx to permissive to make it work. I use permissive script for megisk module and it's working fine. You can use app also but after every boot you have to do it again manually.

Been using for a day and battery life seems slightly worse than FreedomOS. Also can't get visual voicemail working for some reason (T-Mobile; works on Freedom). Other than that, everything else is looking extremely nice.

not yet, and i think there will different download link for those previously on beta.... as mentioned on the OP it's a staggered update, so it may come soon if someone that receives it captures the download link and upload it somewhere else, or it may take a couple of days until OnePlus pushes it globally.

Preferred network type/ just switch to 3G and later back to LTE, this help you get signal and mobile data.)

Tbh, I installed it and it's not worth it. Android 12 is set to release later this month and sources will be available soon after that meaning official roms can start updating. The GSI has issues with cellular (although mine worked), fingerprint and popup cam. Plus it's a GSI so not recommended for daily use

I have also fixed VOLTE so only bluetooth is the only issue.

Oneplus has started officially releasing Android 12 builds to the public in the form of an Open Beta. However you can only join the beta program in China, so this thread will have all the latest package files if you want to install on your non-chinese OP8
DOWNLOADS

Install Instructions
1.) Make sure you're on the latest stock OOS 11. You can't install otherwise.
2.) Place downloaded OTA zip on root of phone storage
3.) Open Settings app > System Update > Gear icon in top left corner > Local Update > Select downloaded OTA
4.) Wait to complete than reboot
Root Instructions
1.) Extract payload.bin file from the OTA you downloaded with 7zip
2.) Use payload_dumper to extract boot.img from payload.bin (DL in second post)
3.) Patch boot.img with Magisk, than flash in fastboot with "fastboot flash boot boot.img"
Note: To make sure you keep Google Play Services just make sure your logged into your Google account before installing the OTA file. If you flash OTA on a clean install of OxygenOS 11, and don't login to your Google account, you will have no Google Play Services after you take the OTA.
Works on: Global Variant, EU Variant, T-MO Variant (probably all others, Verizon and other users please report so I can update)

This hasn't been necessary for a while my friend .
Tested (by many people) and working flawlessly using install method in OP
Is this still loaded with all the Chinese bloatware? After trying the earlier version of colorOS I think this will be my last oneplus device. I really didn't like it all.

Yes, but to be fair unless you have a Chinese Oneplus 8, ColorOS was never meant for your device. So you can't really install it than be mad at Oneplus lol. OxygenOS is still pretty good at not having bloat.

I understand the phones country of origin but I was under the impression that oxygen OS was to be ditched in favour of Color OS. If this is the case then i wont be staying with oneplus. I have loved previous versions of OOS which is why I have stuck with oneplus for so long.

Not exactly. The new OxygenOS is sort of leaning towards what ColorOS is. But they're still not the same thing, just getting more similar and streamlined.
If you wanna get the best idea of what's coming OxygenOS 12 is already available for the Oneplus 9. Plenty of coverage on it. Not my favorite to be fair. And I actually liked OOS11 more than OOS10 unlike most people.
But obviosuly when our Oneplus 8's in the USA get OxygenOS12, they'll see the same amount fo bloat as they do on OOS11. So none really. Don't have to worry about the Chinese stuff.
After quick test , this is not not suit me as daily driver.
I will wait for OOS 12 beta.
Bad News about the Audio
1) It sounds very bad and compressed with Poweramp and Mp3 320 (Previous OxygenOS 11 had no issues)
2) Sometimes the sound plays from both speakers and Bluetooth devices and needs restart
3) Dolby Atmos Presets doing nothing, not working.

It appears you have insufficient storage space jkjk. Most likely that's a bug or the feature is just not finished yet for OP8. This is a beta build afterall
