EMUI 10 Test Menü *#*#4636#*#* not accessible - Huawei P30 Pro Questions & Answers

Is there any way to access this menu (*#*#4636#*#*) on the P30 Pro on EMUI 10? I've tried several different methods and even the apps for this are not working. Does anyone know something about this?
Thanks in advance

Huawei P9 Lite Help! i cant get the smart view case to work

Hi
I cant seem to find the answer to this anywhere but i have a new p9 lite and a 'smart view' case. However it just doesnt work - the phone does not automatically turn the screen on or off when the case is opened or closed. I have an app to check the proximity sensor and this seems to be working ok so i think there must be a setting in the EMUI 4.1 to turn this feature on but i cant find it. I have search on google for P9 lite smart view settings but i cant find anything that helps.
Anyone with an idea on how to get this to work?
Thanks
Matt
Try this, go to:
Settings > Smart assistance > Smart cover > On
Hi n0my.
Thanks for the suggestion but I don't have this option. The attached screen shoot is all I have....
It looks like it's not available on P9 Lite?
I use P9 and I have this.
That is odd. One question.. Do you loose option if you remove the case? I don't know how they work but maybe my case is faulty and the phone can't detect it??
Also I see you have names for each of the sections on the menus but I don't... Weird..
Anyone else have a p9 lite to compare with?
Thanks

I don't even have a smart cover for this phone and never used it. This option is there from the beginning. I'm on Nougat beta but this option was also there on MM stock rom that came with this phone.

Cancel messages

Hi all,
I used to have the Huawei p10 lite and one of its features was to cancel a message for 5 seconds before being sent. Now on my Huawei p20 pro I can't find this setting, was it removed as a feature please?
Thanks
That's because on earlier devices like p10, mate 10 pro and many more. You had Huawei's own message app and that app had different features, while on p20 pro and newer phones you got Googles default message app called Android Messages. So then feature you're looking for doesn't exists there because Google hasn't added that feature to their messages app yet or it could be in another way aswell.

You can try with shortcut master app , you can access many hidden settings this way
Shortcut Master cannot provide access to most of the interesting codes since an Oreo update approximately a year ago...
Take it)

If what this app does is what you're looking for, then I'm not sure what the problem is, because on my device I have a setting to lock the network to LTE/3G/2G (auto conenct); 3G/2G (auto connect); 3G only; and 2G only. I'm not sure what more you want.

I'm sorry i should've been more clear and precise. I was looking for the hidden activity called Hidden Network Settings that was present in Oreo. By using that i was able to lock my phone to specific Network Bands like B40 or B5 or multiple specific bands.
However in PIE that hidden activity is not present, i did go through all of them one by one.
Thanks for your help guys
Hi there , I've been searching for topics like this in the past three hours to share the way I did to make Hidden Network settings work on pie.
Here's what I have done. Well it may not work for you if you're not rooted but I believe that there's another simpler way than mine
First. I have downloaded hidden network settings.apk from apk mirror the last update which is on 31-03-2019
Second I have installed it using Lucky Patcher
Rebuild & Install > Navigate to the path where you downloaded Hidden Network settings > Install it as a system app ( integrate app to system ) > Reboot
Please let me know if it worked out for you

I rooted my phone and installed the Hidden Network Settings app from OREO stock rom in PIE as system app
Just pushed the app in system apps directory with the right permissions
I am now able to lock network bands.
However it only works in rooted cases.
I wasnt able to do anything in stock unrooted rom
Is there a similar hidden menu that I can access to fix my GPS? It only works when I'm stationary, and VERY slow to update when I'm driving. The most annoying issue is that any APP like Google Maps is oriented 90 degrees in a different direction whenever I place it in "compass" mode (even when moving). I've done the figure-8 calibration numerous times whenever prompted, but it doesn't help.

Hi m8,
What build are on now? It's about all apps or specific ones? Have you tried removing them / reinstalling? Or as a last option to be considered, Factory Reset your device, if the issue is general...
I had no problem whille i was on EMUI 10 and none now, on EMUI 10.1. All push notifications can be opened.

I have the same exact issue. Most of the time, tapping the notification won't open the app. Does this with pretty much all apps... Very annoying!
