I don't have it installed but I was able to find it on the market using my GTAB.
What ROM your on? I can't find it on Vegan. The only one that shoes up is the one for phones and it doesn't recognize that I'm on WiFi.

I'm on VEGAn Beta 5.1
I have full market capability, Ok.. Maybe its more like 98.9% capabilities.. *lol*
Check this video on getting full market, it really worked for me with this ROM.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7l-nySibzeA&feature=related
Edit: I just installed "NYTimes for Android Phones" and it works fine with the GTAB.
I'll try that later, it tells me there's no connection.
P.s. I hate your tab for having it work lol

both the tablet and phone versions work on mine. Both are really slow though. Really annoying and I probably won't be using, but it does work.

You might be interested in checking out Readers Hub and Zinio with it. The combination will let you subscribe to hundreds of newspapers and almost a hundred magazines. It works great on my gTab running VEGAn beta 5.1.

Pardon the newbie, but how do I install this? I tried renaming to an API, but while that brings up the normal install screen with permissions, it then won't install.

Do not rename it. Copy the zip to your gTab (I use my Download directory) and then launch it by selecting it and it will install. You must have set your gTab to allow for installation of "unknown sources" in your Settings --> Application --> Unknown Sources.
If you're going to be doing a lot of sideloading I would highly recommend you sign up for a free Dropbox account which will allow you to move files back and forth from any device that you install Dropbox on.

So, I already had that in settings, but when I go to "select it", ES File Manager does not give me an option to install. If I "double click" it simply navigates into the ZIP file. Obviously some simple step I'm overlooking?
I flashed it in cwm.

You could use clockworkmod to flash it as djunio has written.

Same problem as renaming to an APK. It starts to install, then quits with no message other than "Application not Installed". I'm wondering if it is checking for something that is (or isn't) present on my G-tab.
I'm running Vegan 5.1 with the ClemSyn kernel if that would make a difference.
I would download it again then flash the zip in cwm. Maybe it got corrupt somehow.

Thanks for your response. Where do I download the .apk file? I can't find it on Samsung's website nor on Google's Play store. And when you say "Place them at system", what do you mean exactly. Which folder?

Thanks for this info. Yes I am a "noob" to Android. Actually I write programs and am trying to find my way around this device (Galaxy Note) to understand it more and customise it, partly by writing programs for it. But there are loads of terms I don't understand on Xda and I will have a lot of questions. Thanks for your help.

you need a root file explorer. once you have that, go to /system/apps, where it says Mount R/W, tap it so that you can write to system, push the Samsung apps into the folder, long press the file, change permissions to how it looks for all other apps, then tap Mount R/O
I can't seem to find file manager on HTC One. Samsung have My Files. Any good recommendation for HTC One? :good:

Thanks redbull123 for your quick reply. :good: ,
Installed it, but i couldn't look for hidden folder or files.
Es explorer is what I use, i used to use root Explorer but that has been over taken by others in recent times.

Look in Settings -> Display Settings. There's a toggle for displaying hidden files. It probably handles folder, too. I can see hidden folders on my Nexus 4. The One is out of the house at the moment, so I can't look at it. If you haven't seen them, settings are accessible by tapping the globe/mobile device icon to the left of the breadcrumbs that show the current directory location.
HTC File Manager
I'm currently building a file manager based on the native "Filepicker.apk" which is hidden by default. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All right guys. I need to point this out right away. THERE WILL BE NO SHARING YOUR NOVA LICENSE WITH NO ONE IN THIS TREAD. I am just writing this up as a guide. Plus do not post any downloads link for free licenses.
One more thing before I get started. I or any dev on this tread is not responsible if you brick your device doing this. If there any questions regarding doing this. PLEASE POST HERE. I DO NOT RESPOND TO MESSEGES.
If you want to add NOVA PRIME to your phone. Please go to the play store and download it to your phone.. Then fellow my guide below.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teslacoilsw.launcher.prime&hl=en <well worth the money
Going to NEED ROOT FOR THIS.. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2480429
On both devices
Lets get started..
1.Make sure you have esfile explore downloaded to your phone..
2. Now open esfile make sure it has supersu power.
3. In esfile click
-device
- /mnt
- /asec
-/com.teslacoilsw.launcher.pr
-/pkg.apk
4.Now that you found your license (pkg.apk) lets copy it to your ext sd card.
5.press and hold till you get the menu bar to open up. down on the bottom right.
click on more. Then click on copy to /storage/extSdCard
6.Now connect your phone to the computer. And move that file that you just move to your extsd card to your computer.
7. Now connect your gear to the computer and open up wondershare.
8. once wondershare is up and running.
9. Install pkg.apk to the gear.
10. enjoy.

I have had nova prime installed in my Note 3 from day one, but I can't find that file in my phone anywhere.

It does not show in that folder (or any other folder doing a complete system search with root explorer) in my phone.
Sorry to hijack the thread although much easier method here guys: refer to my thread.
I figured out an even easier way (I'm not sure why I didn't think of this before)
I have an app in my phone called "app monster pro". It is one of the handiest apps I have ever purchased, I've used it for years.
It backs up every app in your phone (similar to titanium BU), but what's really cool is you can set it to automatically make a "plain style BU" of every app you install.
What this does is save the apk from every app you install to a folder on my external 64 gig card.
I realized I already had the apk's for both the nova prime key & nova launcher. I installed Nova prime with wondershare using those apk's & it works super.
AppMonster is real handy for reinstalling apps after flashing a ROM or factory reset etc.
Yep - same here. I'm gonna do a thorough search and see if I can find it. Using a Galaxy S3 so might be a different directory for some reason.
Look under /data/app paid apps were moved there I believe. At least that is where mine is at.

Use titanium.
Click on app.
Window will popup to backup or uninstall or restore.
Pres on yhe file name which is in yellow color.
It will show you the path of that apk.
Use solid Explorer otr any other one to navigate to that path.
You will find it with the name of pkg. Pkg
