Fire7 9th gen. - why can't I load x86_64.apk files? - Fire Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Just ordered Fire 7 through Amazon, just got it yesterday however...
My fire 7 won't load x86_64.apk files? I thought the new Fire 7 processor had the ARM Cortex A-53 processor?
I sideloaded hardware info and it says the processor is ARMv7
I tried loading x86_64.apk file and the fire7 said "This app is not compatible with your tablet"
I can install armeabi-v7a.apk files but not x86_64.apk files.
I probably should be asking what type of apk files should my Amazon fire be able to install side-loaded through the sd card?

You cannot install x86_64 APK on ARMv7 devices.
Can you download the APK file from APKMirror and choose armeabi-v7a variants.
x86_64 can be used for PC running Android x86.
MediaTek processor is running ARM Cortex A-53, that's only the processor running x86 with Intel and AMD (Advanced Micro Devices)

TI OMAP Drivers (now with 4470)

I modified a little bit omap_winusb.inf file for existing TI OMAP Drivers and now it supports OMAP4470 CPU too.
I just added only some lines for OMAP4470 device ID like:
Code:
%USB_OMAP4470% = USB_Install, USB\Vid_0451&Pid_d012
This driver can be installed on Windows x86 and x64 as well. I hope it will help somebody to make an unbricker for my Kindle Fire HD 8.9 (now it can be detected only like an OMAP4470 device).

Do you know how to use this driver mode?
adb code ? or fastboot code?
I know that this driver can be used in download mode (for example, to load external boot via USB cable and fix internal one). However I don't know how to use it programmatically.
Just a guess it`s for usb boot just like in the usage for firekit for the first gen kindle.
Exactly. However, I know no one tool, which can be applicable to flash OMAP4470 device in Windows. May be OMAPflash tool can do this, but I don't know how.
I wonder if there a chance of a windows based firekit for second gen devices. Although sadly windows is very crappy with these sort of applications, drivers and such.
I don't think so, because I know a lot of android devices on another processors, which supports flashing through download mode in Windows, even Samsung Galaxy Nexus (edition with OMAP processor). For example, my primary smartphone is JIAYU G2 based on MTK6577, and it can be flashed through download mode with battery removed - MediaTek distributes firmware tool for vendors only, but it was spread to destination users extremely fast because vendors don't want to make their own flash tools for fastboot/adb mode. So, I think it is possible indeed, but we need a right tool for flashing. And I know that Texas Instruments has such tool, but it is distributed only for device manufacturer.
I was goijg through firekit and found that there is binary named usbboot
Since I have no experience with original kindle I little bit skeptical about this binary
Is it provided by amazon/ti
Or is it built by pokey
In any ways is there same binary or method to boot KHFD 8.9

When the OMAP USB boots, it first waits a bit to handshake with a host. If the handshake is successful, the host sends a small loader to the OMAP that then does some hardware init and handshakes again with the host to get a payload to shove into RAM. This loader is similar to x-loader in that it has to be small enough to fit in the SRAM of the OMAP, and does low level initialization like mux, clock, and memory setup. However it differs in that it replaces the MMC and FAT handling in x-loader with USB loading as there's not enough room for a generic x-loader that does MMC and USB.
On HS OMAPs, this initial USB loader payload must be signed just like x-loader has to be for eMMC boot. If the payload doesn't have a signature that checks out, the OMAP halts until it's reset. This is enforced by hardware, so short of finding a sploit in the OMAP ROM code or a copy of Amazon's USB boot tools used in factory it's not going to work.

Do you know how to download usbboot?
and how to use it???
Thanks!
Has anyone had any luck in recovering an 8.9 HD stuck in omap only mode?
In theory: Need a compatible usbboot/aboot which can bring up some kind of bootloader to enable fastboot for reflash all original partitions.
The reality: I'm not sure at what point the signature checks would be enforced. If usbboot needs to be signed to even load.. then it's dead.

Much appreciated Hash. I guess he is better off ditching it on eBay for parts or praying Amazon will replace it for him.

[Q] Kindle Fire HD bricked (nothing works)

Part 1)
I have a Kindle Fire HD 7"....
I have installed the new Stock-Rom 7.4.3 from Amazon...
After that, i have used KFFirstAide to root and install Google-Service and ADW-Launcher....
Everthing was fine....
The only problem was, that there were no wallpapers in ADW-Launcher Mode...
Then i used the stuff from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2295750
After running the script i got some error messages in the script....
After that, my Kindle was bricked:
Switch on => 2 Times Kindle fire Logo then red triangle with two options => reboot or reset to factory defaults
I have chosen both, but nothing works
Part 2)
I have ordered a fastboot cable.....
If i plugin the cable (Kindle is off) it starts and i can read FASTBOOT Kindle Fire in the Tab-Display
If i try to revocer via KFFirstAide (Option 4 => Completely Restore the KFHD 7 7.2.3) , it ends up with : < waiting for device >
In Windows 8 64 Bit Device manager i can see the following Device with yellow triangle: Tate-PVT-08
If i try to install the Kinde Driver again it tells me, that they are allready installed....
Part 3)
crying
Can you help me pls ?
Sorry to see that my script bricked a device, would love to know why it did, because the main reason it would usually cause bricks was recently nullified by adding safeties in to prevent that. I suggest not using a PC with windows 8 on it to fix your kindle if possible. You just need to reflash the system partition like your trying to do. Windows 8 usually gives people trouble with drivers when they are unsigned or modified, that's why I suggest you use a PC with windows 7 or xp on it, because your kindle is completely fixable. if you have no other PC's I can always help you get it working again to the best of my abilities.

Reinstall driver(sometimes it helps), close all adb and cmd windows in task manager, and in cmd type adb kill-server, then try KFFirstAide

If i use KFFirstAide do i have to use the normal usb cable or the factory cable ?
i have heard, the factory cable is only to put the Fire into Fastboot mode, after the Fastboot Logo i have to use the normal cable, is this right ?
Not really I used fastboot cable for all fastboot command and when it rebooted into fastboot again I just removed cable and rebooted manually, but for adb commands use regular cable
If a woodchuck chucked wood and Chuck found out, would Chuck get mad at the woodchucks for chucking Chuck's wood?

See the attachments...
If have installed the android sdk

Then plugged in the Kindle with Fast Boot Cable and Normal Cable... but no working driver
Tried with Windows 7 64 Bit....

well here's the modified google driver i made that should install with it. Just hit update driver on the tate-pvt device and point it to search in the folder that u extract from that zip file, it should do the rest by itself, minus asking are u sure u want to install a unsigned driver or something, just hit install anyway.
Edit: Trying to keep different version of my drivers from floating around on the forum, so use the link in my signature for the most up to date drivers.
Thanks to all
Kindle up again....
I had to install the driver with device manager, then show the device list, chose usb-devices then out of the manufacturer list kindle => kindle adb driver....
Then the Kindle was named Kindle in device manager and KFFirstAide did the rest....
yeehaaa

[Q] Need Help Rooting Kindle Fire HD 7 3rd Gen

I Have a Kindle Fire HD 7 3rd Gen version 11.3.2.4 and I'm having trouble rooting it. When I enable adb on my kindle and plug it to my pc it shows up as a unknown device and when I try to install the kindle adb drivers it wont let me. Anyway to fix this?
Try the drivers in my signature, not sure if I updated the inf file for the kfhd 2nd gen though, if it doesn't work then post the vid and pid listed on that device's properties under the details tab from the hardware id's subsection, or just post whatever you see there in that section.

If i go into device options all it lists is Device Model Fire 7 (7th Generation) first 4 of serial is G0W0

Linux Installation on Samsung Galaxy Book Go Laptop

Hello everybody!
I am trying to install ARM Linux distributions on Samsung Galaxy Book Go Laptop but unfortunately none of the attempts have been successful.
The Samsung Galaxy Book Go Laptop features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 processor (Kryo™ 468 Octa-core CPU up to 2.55 GHz);
RAM Memory 4 GB LPDDR4x Memory (On BD 4 GB);
Qualcomm® Adreno graphics card;
Internal storage 128 GB eUFS;
Windows 11 ARM Operating System.
Attempts to install Linux Distributions were with the following images:
Debian arm64, Arch arm64, Ubuntu Server arm64, Manjaro arm64.
Unfortunately, I couldn't launch the Linux installation boot screen, what happens is that simply Windows 11 ARM starts, even with Security Boot disabled in the BIOS.
Would anyone have any idea how to resolve this?

How are you trying to boot into the installer media?? Are you pressing F8 during boot? Or going into Bios to change the Boot order?
If there is no Armbian for it, you can stop wasting your time.
I don't know if this is the correct place for it, but I somehow got a memory dump of the Tmo Galaxy Book Go 5G and wondered if it might be useful to any linux developer?
