I just bought the p30 pro and all i can say is that it's an amazing phone, but I'm wondering is it possible to take videos with x50 zoom?

At 1080p30, zoom will only go up to 15x.

Hello, everyone. Ineed help.I am about to buy a new phone and I am considering between Huawei P20 Pro and the S9+ the problem what keeps me off from buying the P20 is the lack of stabilization in 4K video recording. Can someone please elaborate if the video recording is still bearable and if Huawei are going to release an update fixing this problem, because Ive read its a software problem. Also can you guys share your expressions from having your P20 Pro? Pros and cons? Thank you all in advance!
If you are picky about videos than stay away from Huawei's phone's.

I wanted to use it for photography and filming too so I want to know if FiLMiC Pro supports all the resolutions, framerates, aspect ratios, and such. Since my current Galaxy Note 5 which supports 1080p60 cannot record in 1080p60 in FiLMiC Pro. I want to know before I buy and I would also like to know if stabilization works within FiLMiC.

Hi guys, I was watching some astrophotography videos on youtube, and noticed that Pixel phones were taking absolutely stunning pics. I then did some searching and found multiple GCAM versions, but none worked on my P30 Pro. It seems like 7.3 is the version that supports Astrophotography mode, so just curious if anyone knows if there is a GCAM 7.3 version available for Huawei / P30 Pro devices?

No versions are available that fully work with the naff processor of our phones.
Hi,
Vivo offered me to update my x60 pro plus to ocean rom. Now I am pretty happy with old one, except the fact, that I am not able to take video with 60p and use the 5x camera. If I choose the 60p settings (either 4k or 1080) it is only possible to shoot in 0,6, 1x and 2x - sadly.
Does this change maybe with ne new origin version? Beside this are there any other new helpful camera settings coming with the new rom?
Or do you know another camera app with which I can benefit of the 5x zoom lens and 60p footage?

now version 5.11.1 ! I open to app camera and delay about 4-5s , it can focus and capture ! Maybe App Camera had problem !

Hello All, I am long term huawei user, but need gsm and want upgrade p30 pro, find x5 pro looks very good replacement only optical zoom causing me headache, can't find anywhere how far can digital zoom go on main camera, as 2x optical not looking great. Same time if anyone have any samples of digital zoom, please share it. I know quality will suffer just want to see how much.
