sRGB colour profile for custom ROMs. - Redmi K20 Pro / Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro Questions & Answe

Is there a way to implement sRGB colour profile found on MIUI rom in custom ROMs?
Colour are still not accurate to sRGB even if you set display color to natural. I'm currently on Evolution X rom.

Yes, it would be great! I'm in the same Custom ROM...

Glad to see someone who appreciates accuracy over vibrancy.
Anyway, tried calibrating to sRGB by sight. My friend has stock K20. The colors are not accurate if you only adjust RGB values but there's no other way that I know of. Also reduce saturation by 15-20%.

Anyone wants to share their sRGB settings?

Gamma Correction or Deep Rich Colors

Recently I got hold of PDA2K version of Blue angel. I am also using PDA2K but this was little different.
The first thing I notice is that its colors are more Deeper which looks good. My question is:
Can I adjust Gamma on my Pocket PC so that instead of washed out colors I get more Deep rich colors?

[Q] Color Calibration on ICS?

Has anyone figured out how to adjust the screen colors under ICS yet? I used to use Chainfire3D's Nightmode to adjust the colors in GB, but that no longer works in ICS.
And before anyone asks "why?", I am a photographer and I view my photos on my TP. By default the colors are way off (~7200k white point).
Chainfire3D allowed me to adjust the colors where they were relatively close to 6500k across the board.
On my Epic 4g I use Voodoo Color, which is obviously for Galaxy S series devices only.
Maybe something like this could be ported?
Woohoo, I can confirm that Night Mode is working again under 4.0.4 and I am quite happy to have a color calibrated Touchpad again!
The only problem is that it also applies the adjustments to the recents thumbnails, thus doubling the correction (this would also be true for any screenshots).

Post your Display Color set-up

The Nexus 4 display allows for significant variations in its colors, all you need is root(;
So therefore I decided to make this thread, to see what others people setting are, currently my colors are set to 255:240:221, I like it very much because it makes by brighter colors such as red and orange stand out a lot, but what are your color settings?
Post Below
P.S.
If you want to compare your color settings to some one else's I included a few images below, you can screenshot them and post them below with your color settings, after that you can easily see how different the display looks
There is actually already an enormous thread with a spreadsheet of everyone's values. Also, everyone's screenshot will look the exact same since you're changing the properties of the screen, but not the image itself.

Better fonts for easier readability on custom ROM?

I have currently CM12.1 rom installed on the Fire thanks to ggow and everyone else who made is possible and loving it. The default font seems ok because of the low res display. Has anybody any font suggestions for better font readability (like better hinting or something). I know the display is kind of weird on this one, it appears that it squezzes the display in vertical mode and expands it on the landscape mode.
Only seen people mention changing the dpi to get it to look better, hadn't thought about simply changing fonts.

I tried Segoe UI Semilight (Don't hate on me just because it is Microsoft related, Segoe is my favorite font ever.), but it was very skewed and not clear at all. I have to agree with you that the default font is the best for it in all honesty.
i'd stick to chaging the dpi setting, it will look less as a tablet and more like a phone but the overall experience es better. and let's be honest, with 1024x600 it's better this way. i currently have mine set to 200dpi

Display colors not as vibrant after beta 14

Hello
I noticed that after installing beta 14, colors are awful, they are not as vibrant as they were before, what can I do to adjust them?
Move back to Stable build or an older beta build because as of OB14 the default color profile will be less vibrant and it's really good and accurate now red are red instead of that old neon colour.
Read the changelog before flashing. The colors are not awful. They are better.
They could have left one of the choices in the screen calibration settings as the original saturation. Something like default, sRGB, vibrant, and custom. I personally liked the vibrant colors, with the deep blacks it really made the AMOLED display pop.
