Hi,
I have a Mi9 with the latest stable MIUI.EU. When I try to open any media app, like Spotify or Deezer, through Android Auto, the media app fails to open with a message like:
Spotify doesn't seem to be working at the moment
All the permissions have been gave and there is no battery restriction.
When using the official global rom, all things work as they should.
Someone knows how to solve this?
Tks
EDIT: Solved! Just after posting here I've found this link https://support.google.com/androidauto/thread/14721161?hl=en with the solution

I have done the Market fix several times already and have fixed most of the missing app problems, except the voice and video plugin for yahoo IM. I always get the "requested item could not be found" message when i try to update the app. I cannot run the IM apk without the plugin. Can someone please send me or upload the 1.4 version? Thanks
Also if you must ask i have used other IM apps that allow you to chat etc but have not found one other than the official app that allows you to do voice and video plus send and receive files. Ps. I also used the search bar with no success.
I am having the same problem. It will be great if someone could post the apk file.
Thanks.
Read this and try it, it might for you also.

Remember to do the regular fix after making the changes.
I tried the steps in the thread you pointed out. But that doesn't fix the problem. I posted a reply in that thread and I will quote it here also

I tried the fix and it didn't work for me. This is what I did
1. Mounted /system are rw
2. Modified the lines ro.build.fingerprint and ro.product.device
3. Remounted /system are ro
4. Started Android Market and browsed around a bit
5. Chose Settings->Applications->Running Services
6. Under the Running tab I can see 'Market' and 'Google Services' but not 'Google Services Framework'. . I can see it under 'All' tab.
7. I followed rest of the steps instructed in the youtube video rcgabriel pointed out in the initial post.
What should I run to see 'Google Services Framework' under the 'Running' tab? Could that be the reason for the fix not working for me?
Thanks.

I tried both Vegan Gingerbread and GHarmony Gingerbread roms. Is there any rom which I should give a try, where this is known to work?
Thanks.

If you have an android phone download YM with that and then use Bluetooth file transfer also in the market for free on both your gtab and android phone then use that app to send the app from your phone to the gtab..
I would upload the app for you but I don't have my tablet with me to bounce the app from phone to tab to here.
That worked like a charm. Thanks a lot for the suggestion.
I have attached the yahoo_messenger and plugin apk if someone wanted them.
Glad I could help!
Thanks to you both! Downloaded and it works great!
stock rom
will the posted apk's work on the stock rom? I have version 1.3.2 (both the ym and the video plugin), but the video icon shows up disabled. Is this a newer version? Thanks!
Yes, it is a newer version (1.4).

Thanks!!
I am on the 6.11.10 en build, rooted. Netflix app works fine and it's the latest version but for some reason I have no option to download for offline viewing. Is there an easy way to fix this? Anyone else having this problem?
Could this be a location based problem? Downloads is US only right now, I think. Check your location and see if that is the issue
I am located in the U.S. My Locale is also set to english/ US Really not sure why it's not working for me.
Had same problem. Switching to EU rom fixed it.
I'm on the EU rom.... Which one are you referring to?
I'm on the latest rom from xiaomi.eu and I'm able to download movies.
I'm now on 6.12.8 but when I first switched from the official stable to the earlier EU version it fixed it. It also fixed the problem with Google Play movies not playing.
Got it to work without changing roms. I wiped data and uninstalled the app then reinstalled from the play store and it worked just fine. Guess it had something to do with restoring from titanium.
Netflix download is only available for certain devices. Currently not all android units are supported. See Netflix blog

Hi all!
I've been trying to replace the pre-installed Chrome with Chrome Beta with no luck. Also tried other browsers with the same results.
I've tried as a system app and user app and setting as default but, once I freeze or completely remove Chrome, I get a lot of force closes when opening links via webview. Also tried changing the webview implementation in developer settings but the issue persists.
What am I doing wrong? Is there some system setting/prop/file that needs to be changed for this?
Any help is appreciated.
EDIT: I'm running Oxygen OS 5.0.4 on a OnePlus 3T if that helps.
With help from the OnePlus forums I thought of trying something that I didn't try before, uninstalled updates and then disabled*and now it seems to be working well.
Moderators please close this thread. :good:
Since the oxygenos 9.0.10 update android auto won't work as usual.
Waze hangs. Music apps are not reachable.
Homescreen works, google assistant works also.
Updating to 9.0.11 brings no solution.
Anyone else facing the same issues?
Greetings and happy holidays!
Have you tried uninstalling Android auto and reinstalling? Try a new cable as well. I know that shouldn't make a difference but it has fixed AA for me before

Hi,
Just grab android auto apk file from google and install it.
Hi guys,
Already posted in official miui forum but no luck there. I have many apps installed and one of them (or more?) are blocking the accessibility services options. So whenever I try to switch them on , there is a message that sthing blocks them and i need to close it.
How can I identify what app is causing this?
Phone is rooted with eu latest beta rom 9.1.24
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
