I am trying to set a sirius clean and up to date, and I flashed 9.9.3.
The thing is, now I can't flash any TWRP, flashing goes as it should, but then I get black screen. The phone wouldn't go to recovery nor the system. Fastboot is the only option, and then I flash 9.9.3 again and try another recovery and so on... I am tired.
Can somebody tell me please, how to get this poor phone to latest eu rom?
Sequence of flashables with version numbers or something?
Thanks

I was actually using this tool and it made all 50 of so of my softbricks a lot faster.
The solution was to fastboot flash 8.10.25 first, and then everything went smoothly.

Hey,
I dont know how different things are now, i installed a RUU with lollipop and i've been trying to flash TWRP but after i try to get into recovery and i got stuck at the logo with "entering into recovery...", adb detects device and nothing happens, tried to delete cache still didnt work. I bet i'm missing something as stupid as a simple boot...

no just checking you installed the correct recovery, for lollipop you should have the latest recovery, that's all
I can't either get root or flash a ROM without access to recovery?

I think i did that, isnt that what RUU's suppose to do?
Anyway, here's the log and last_kmsg if anyone knows how to trace this

I was told that since i replaced parts i might have replaced a part thats not the same as the original one and that i would need to make a custom recovery. I've already download the kmsg report (http://pastebin.com/USayUFqx) i just need some eyes that understand whats happening.
Ran into a pretty big issue here and I'm not sure where to go. I've downloaded the HDX Mokee version and flashed it with the GAPPS from this thread. All went well until I rebooted and I see is a white box and then it boots into Chinese? A screen with a button came up and naturally I was gonna try to go through the installation so I pushed it and it rebooted my device into TWRP. TWRP went into a boot loop. So, I reboot into the bootloader and reflashed TWRP. I can now access twrp BUT there's NOW a password attached to my device...how the hell? I went to reflash the Mokee zip in bootloader thinking maybe it was a bad flash but i cant as it's a zip and not an img file. HELP lol!

So take it back to stock recovery and rom and then start over from there? Currently I can't flash anything in twrp. It's all bootloader.

flash a factory image, become completely stock again. if you want to, reroot and flash twrp as well. then if you want, try flashing that rom again.

Then you can still flash the fastboot roms. Guides are found here. Or use the included script.
Why would I want to disable dm verity after all?

yup. it doesnt, tried it
The only TWRP version that works for me is the Dimenzino forks, but those only boot. ADB sideload crashes the recovery, decryption doesnt work thus MTP also doesnt work.
Any other recovery i try also locks me from booting before i reinstall spark.
I've been hating every second with this phone.
When i compare the experience of modding it to my old Redmi 8, this phone is such a pain.
IMEI backups
No ROM's work
No recovery's work.
Now that I have only 1 IMEI i can no longer even go back to MIUI.

This is the only recovery that has so far worked for me to install a ROM through sideload. Otherwise its pretty useless.
Looking at the rom-lord files, theres quite a few roms/recoveries in there, ill try to test the recoveries and let you know.

well, I mean, it's MediaTek....
you can just go port TWRP to your device by yourself, OR use GSI ROMs! (though, GSIs are very.... general, and so, they might not work with certain hardware inside your phone, because they're designed to be a one-size-fits-all solution.) even better, go make a custom ROM for your device by yourself!
