Hey mate.. have some patience.. pixel experience rom has started making Official Android 10 for xperias...
Models from Xperia XZ Premium till latest Xperia 5 (in order of their release).. which obviously contains XZ1 Compact..
They have already released Official ROM for XZ3, XZ2 and XZ2 Compact. More coming soon..
Cheers !
Judging by the fact that the builds for newer Xperia devices are based on Sony AOSP this one will likely be as well. So one needs to keep it in mind it might not be completely stable (like Sony AOSP 10). At least for some time.
I have made unofficial android 10 ..

Hi
At first I want say thanks to XSP developers to support our device
I want ask you if possible create MIUI ROM based LP or MM. I know we have miui based on KitKat but that have some problems. MIUI is very good and smooth ROM but we haven't that
Sorry for my bad english
@Adrian DC @Arvind7352 @darjwx @akhilnarang@Raienryu @dic1911 @TheAvengingTITAN
The main problem is that the sources of miui are not updated for newer android versions. They are only for KitKat. So afaik the oy solution is porting the ROM manually from other ROM of a device with similar spces that the xperia sp. But as I said above, I think the only devices that have lp or mm miui are the xiaomi phones.

Nexus 5 is officially supported by xiaomi. That's why it has miui with marshmallow.
no more custom roms or port ,why?
it's hard for developers?
the last rom RR is no stable and flyme 6 has much bug...

Not really forgotten, it only takes really quite a lot time to fix issues, do development work on specific ROM (or kernel) versions when switching between ROMs / Android versions
and there's also real life.
There are certainly more developers needed for the Z5, Z4/Z3+
I hope that almost a rom with oreo could be released soon, otherwise I will need to buy a new device

What is it of Oreo that you need so badly ?
Isn't any of the Nougat based ROMs working well enough ?
I miss Dirty Unicorns and PureX =/
I currently use XenonHD 8.0 in my ZL is so pretty
I was just surfing random android stuffs on internet and eventually found the "Project Treble"!!
https://forum.xda-developers.com/project-treble
After then I installed the app known as "Project Treble" in app store, this app tells you if your device is capable for this project or not. And good thing for us that XZ1 Compact is supported.
I have unlocked my bootloader, so there is no chance for getting any OTA updates.
Well, I was never worried about not getting OTA updates because XZ1 Compact is already a year old and sony will eventually stop rolling the updates after sometime, but unlike sony, Project Treble seems more promising for regular security updates and many more other things that sony will probability never provide.
As for example look at this thread : https://forum.xda-developers.com/pr...device-development/rom-aosp-extended-t3821934
Here you can see that they are providing kernel 4.9, while we, who are still on kernel 4.4 even after latest pie update.
And this also : https://www.xda-developers.com/google-test-android-q-project-treble-gsi/
Keeping all these apart, I just wanted to ask if any XZ1 Copmact user has tried this "Project Treble" or not??
And if yes then please share your reviews here.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers
There's various posts about Project Treble in this device's forum. I'll leave the searching for you.
I didn´t try with the latest Pie firmware yet.
With Android 8.0 as base I was able to run almost every Treble-ROM based von Android 8.1, Android 9.0 bootloops. May be it is working together with the latest Pie rom as well.

Because project treble doesnt affect the stock rom functionality you must do the same as if you were on stock. Install drm fix and Magisk in twrp and permissive kernel patch via Magisk when in Android.
I suggest AOSP from the creator himself or resurrection Rom.
I have got no idea about Volte
Hey all!
How is it going?
Now that Android 10 has been officially released, do you have any leaks or idea as to how likely we will get a custom rom based on Android 10 such as Pixel Experience, Lineage, Resurrection Remix etc etc?
Your inputs are very much appreciated.

I imagine it won't be too long for the of legendary phhusson to have an Android 10 plain vanilla AOSP GSI available. If I remember correctly, it wasn't long after P was released that he had a P GSI available. Once that's released other AOSP based GSI's will not be too far behind. For device specific ROMs you'll have to wait a bit longer.

This is a really good-to-know information. Thank you for this and I am looking forward to Android 10 GSIs.
For those of you running Android 9 on your XC, I've come across a relatively stable GCam port with the latest Pixel camera functionality. While not entirely perfect on the XC, it does work quite well and takes some amazing shots with the right settings. For those that would like to try here's the link:
https://f.celsoazevedo.com/file/cfiles/gcm1/PMGC_7.0.009_HDR_Version_V13.apk
If you have any better GCam suggestions, feel free to add here.
Does it work on LineageOS 16.0 port by Chipp_a?
No, that version uses Linux 3.10.x kernel, which unfortunately does not support any of the newer GCam mods with HDR support.
