Oh ok. The beta 7 is on 3.8.87

10.3.0 has a build date of Dec 14th while Beta 7 was built on Dec 11th

Weird how they jumped from 10.0.3 to 10.3.0. ?

Hard to tell. I like the feature that lowers volume of ringer when you pick up the phone. That's not implemented in stable yet.
Beta 7 probably has December security

Nope beta is still November..

Works smoothly, no problem The little energy compared to the previous version deserves that he will cross from 10.0.3 to 10.3.0 thanks.

Does anyone have a link to the new stable?

Does anyone have a patched boot image from 10.3.0?
I'm trying to root, but can't get TWRP to boot using "fastboot boot twrp.img" (phone just shows OnePlus logo and "Fastboot Mode" and gets stuck there). I'm hoping I'll be able to root by booting with a patched boot image and installing Magisk through the manager.

Netflix doesn't work anymore... incompatible, stock unrooted 10.3
Also, navigation gesture is now full screen, no more top part opening the hamburger menu.... Sad day!!!

Why are you doing it like that? Did you not have TWRP installed already on previous version?
Just download the full zip, flash it using TWRP and then flash TWRP and Magisk immediately after, then change the active slot using the reboot menu in TWRP, reboot back into TWRP and flash all again. Then change slot again, flash TWRP and Magisk (Flashing TWRP will remove root so you need to flash Magisk again) then reboot into system. You might want to clear your cache first when changing version though.

Doesn't seem to be out yet. Hasn't shown up for me in oxygen updater.

Beta 7 is really good and the new stable seems like it's a combination of beta 6 and 5

Someone with 10.3.0 installed can chek

Thanks a lot

Does Call of Duty Mobile still crash?
Installed since morning. Still October patch but have noticed battery is not draining as fast in use or idle. Notify buddy was working in tandem with Google Assistant in beta 5 but not here. Think it's a cleanup of either beta 3 or 4 with updated security patch from 10.01. Quite happy with it overall.
before install it on 10.01 swiped factory reset , I installed the rom with twrp ,when finished install , I made again factory reset, and install twrp zip (-3.3.1-70-guacamole-unified-installer-mauronofrio.zip )again .
battery not drain as fast in use,no problem about notification and no problem with twrp and magisk
Installed, rooted, TWRP, ElementalX, Gravity Box - Sill passes safety net.
The live wallpaper Is no more working.
Anyone has this problem?
I have the OnePlus launcher constantly crashing with the screen flashing. I have to use another launcher. Any idea how to fix? Tried uninstalling etc. But to no avail.
Also lost TWRP functionality since now it doesn't ask for pattern and can't mount storage. So no flashing Magisk or another rom.
Came from OB5 by disabling all Magisk mods, flashing 10.0.2 in TWRP, flashing TWRP installer script, rebooting recovery and that's when I got stuck with the unusable recovery. Help?
Guys since I've flashed this the play store keeps wanting me to pay for apps I've already bought and doesn't show any apps under update..I've uninstalled my account and reinstalled, also wiped the play stor app itself

Flashed TWRP 3.3.72 in Magisk. Did not reboot.

Installed Magisk via available slot. Reboot, all good. Still rooted, no data lost.

Recovery will affect booting?
So just flash the 7.0 installer? I can currently boot to 72 recovery.
avid_droid said:
I ran into that problem when flashing with twrp.72
What I had to do is:
flash twrp.70 and reboot back into slot A.
Flash OOS 10.0.2
Flash twrp.70
Format data (you can try a factory reset)
Repeat same sequence on Slot B
Rebooted into system and set everything up and let it finish.
Reboot back into recovery and made sure I was in slot A
Flashed magisk 20.2
Reboot into system
All is good to go.

Sorry for all the questions, I can boot to .72 recovery now. Should I flash the earlier version from there? If so, can it be the installer or does it have to be the .img.
After flashing the different recovery, should it boot or do I have to do all the flashing like in your post above?

Installing :
For the uninitiated, Download either package and copy it to the root folder of your phone's storage, then go to the following location on your phone :
Settings > System (at the bottom) > System Updates (at the bottom) > Tap on the cog icon on the top right > Tap on local upgrade
The build available in your root folder should be listed, tap that and follow the instructions.
If you are coming from the beta release ring back to the main release ring you will most likely be prompted to wipe your data, ensure you have backed up all data you want to keep beforehand.
If you are upgrading from one release ring build to the next then you may want to clear your cache.

(Edit : Added official links and re-formatted )
Some users who already received the update previously had reported overheating and higher battery usage, tests on the official forum have shown better benchmark results compared to previous builds, so the heat and battery usage might be caused by this. No confirmation from OnePlus as to whether this was why the update was obviously being delayed.
Post any relevant improvements or reports of heating/battery differences below.
Remember to allow adequate time to gauge any difference in battery usage though.
Would flashing this over Beta 11 wipe my phone? I'm also rooted with TWRP.

Hi Guys,
I have downloaded full OTA update 10.0.5 from above link.
Flashed rom using TWRP, flashed TWRP image (3.3.1-79 by mauronofrio), rebooted to recovery and flashed Magisk 20.4.zip file.
After system reboot it is still showing OOS 10.0.4 with january 2020 security patch....
Did the same three times, initially twice with OTA zip file taken from Oxygen Updater later with ROM from this thead, same outcome - still on 10.0.4.
Is there something I'm doing wrong?? Can you please advice.
Thanks...

You've only installed on one slot, use TWRP to change the slot and flash rom, TWRP and Magisk again.
Either that or just use TWRP to change the boot slot.

Hi guys, just updated to this 10.0.5, reinstalled twrp, but when starts WiFi won't stay on & network icons are a mess as in aren't showing correctly, would this be due to twrp needing an update as I've tried several versions & same result, returning to stock everything works perfectly again, any help would be great thanks

Remove all Magisk modules first, restart then added it back, it's call recording module!
Up and running with TWRP 3.3.1-79 and Magisk 20.4.
Only one day of usage, so too early to draw conclusions, but I have seen no overheating or high battery drain.
If anything, it actually looks to have improved from 10.0.4:

Its the idiot, being me, I was using the wrong command line for twrp, instead of boot, I used flash boot, which of course flashed twrp as my boot.img & messed it up, I blame covid & isolation, realistically it was my silliness.
Flashed on T-Mobile 7pro, then xXx, no issues so far, great battery life.

The other one (official thread) was created on 25th November 2017 by Funk Wizard, when the first Open Beta was released. Ever since then, it has been used for announcing all subsequent Open Beta releases as well as gather feedback on them. Nonetheless, thanks for changing the thread title, I appreciate it!
Does any one have any idea how I can enable full screen gestures for OnePlus 5?
I flashed the open beta build and tries enabling on screen navigation buttons but it's giving me the old buttons
I tried using
adb shell settings put secure swipe_up_to_switch_apps_enabled 1
as it used to work on OOS 9, but this has no effect on the current open beta build
Thanks in advance
The wifi is randomly dropping for me then reconnecting. That happens quite often, anyone else experiencing it? I'm full stock with locked bootloader, haven't done a factory reset though.

I actually make both slots identical.
Local install of OS
Install Magisk after OTA
Reboot
Local install of the OS (might fail the first time, do it again)
Flash TWRP in Magisk
Direct install of Magisk
OTA install of Magisk.
Reboot
Now both slots are bootable with the same OS and rooted.

Shortly after this article was published,
OnePlus has pulled back all the builds.(OxygenOS Open Beta 14)

Thanks for the reply, but I got it all sorted. Before I upgraded to Android 11, apparently the magisk modules that were still installed messed up and I had to remove them first before being able to root the device.
