I've asked the same for S10+ but would also like to know if Mi 9 supports direct boot. Both of Mi 9 and S10+ are nice devices for my candidate.
Can someone help me to check the value in your Mi 9 by following command?
adb shell getprop ro.crypto.type
Thanks.

Got it, thanks! It looks like recent Android devices are all direct boot enabled.
Hello friends, first thanks for watching and for answering. My 5s plus has a problem. I have seen that some Motorolas have been unlocked via Qualcomm remotely and mark the model as xt1601 after unlock. I do not have wifi and bluetooth, neither does the pc recognize it once it is turned on. I already did a stock flash (SANDERS_OPS28.65-36-14_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC) and it remains the same. I also did flash modem and nothing changes. Has it happened to someone? Any solution? Thank you so much

Hello,
this is the flash mode. You should try to recover it with Windows Device Recovery Tool or WPInternals.
First download and install Windows Device Recovery Tool. This brings also the drivers you might need in WPInternals. Start WDRT and wait if it detects your device.
If not, switch to WPInternals, download your required .ffu file and flash it
Best regards,
Joachim
Did it work?

Hi,
I have hunted around online to find a way to revive my Pixel 5 phone, I very accidently fastboot flashed Pixel 4a firmware onto a Pixel 5 which has triggered the Pixel 5 to lock up into EDL/Qualcomm 9008 mode, I am guessing this is a true hard brick and there are no means of fixing it?

Check this out Thread 'Qualcomm - QXDM5 / QCAT / PCAT / QDART / QRCT Tools' https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/qualcomm-qxdm5-qcat-pcat-qdart-qrct-tools.4296027/
Hope that some developers will adapt to lineage os in the future
So does that mean we can get custom ROM support for this device soon ?
It's already open source
