Hi,
I use a oneplus 3T
I had previously rooted my phone successfully using SuperSu and TWERP and I used it for 6 months. Now I tried to unroot it and did a full unroot using SuperSu. But my phone is stuck now. when I restart it oneplus logo comes. If I go to recovery mode, it just restart again and if I go to fastboot, nothing happens. When I connect my device to pc, it doesnt show up there. So I am not able to do fastboot because when I tried typing it, an error came.
Please someone help me out with this and guide me with a solution.
Thanks
EDIT:
Hey Guys after 5 hours of research and experimentation, I found the solution. If anyone in future have a similar problem, please PM me.

Just download and flash your rom, assuming it's the stock OOS.
It will be unrooted afterwards.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I found out, I can fastboot because when I typed fastboot devices, it showed me the serial number.
Now I can't switch on my phone, because it gets stuck on the oneplus logo screen. I tried going in recovery but it still restarts. but i'm not able to access any screens other than fastboot.
I tried flashing TWRP. On pc it said successful. but no changes on my phone. I think I have accidentally deleted my OS and TWRP. but I cant figure out how to install these again.
How do I flash a ROM, if I can't access the storage of my phone.
I don't know what to do now.

Try flashing another version of twrp using fastboot...open recovery....if it stuck on boot logo then wait for few minutes....it will work
Use power button and volume down button to boot into recovery!

See the tutorial on that here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e4-plus/how-to/moto-e4-qualcomm-owens-completely-to-t3743441
same happened here looking for a solution .. worked 2 times and on both got stuck on "editing partition details"while wiping data.. first time worked and pressing holding the power button restarted and flashed again twrp and worked. 2nd time it went in twrp boot loop. :/
any solutions to our same problem ??????
I have also the same problem with my device Bluboo-S1 and TWRP v3.2.1 without solution
Use TWRP v3.1.1-0 for wiping encryption, upgrade TWRP after ya get your ROM booting. Some ppl are reporting success via booting from TWRP to bootloader, then hitting START.. Not all devices are doing this tho, you may have that rare one which requires it..

Hi everyone.
I have a OnePlus 3t. It's not rooted and bootloader is locked. The current state of my device is that the screen is completely black and shows no LEDs. I know leaving it for a few hours it will come back on, this is due to me getting into fastboot and turning off the phone. It was stuck in recovery. Everytime it was on it would boot to recovery. I've tried deleted cache, resetting and it was doing nothing. Can anyone help me as to how to fix this? I know it's not a hardware issue. Tried to research on here but I'm at a loose end.
Thanks in advance for any help.

I would try flashing the OOS ROM again. This might fix the problem.
Also, you should have posted this in the OnePlus 3T q&a forum, not here.

I mean the official Oxygen OS installation file that you can download from https://downloads.oneplus.com/ (if you're using OOS 5.0.8) or from https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...genos-5-0-1-android-8-0-t3728119/post75026505 (if you're using OOS 9.0.3 or 9.0.4)
And I believe you can sideload it via ADB, though I've never actually done that using the stock recovery.

I would try, but i have the feeling, that you have a hardware failer...
You could try this:
unlock bootloader
install twrp
install firmware 9.0.4
install any custom rom
I would take Dirty Unicorns, bacause file is not so big and works definitly without problems on my phone
https://download.dirtyunicorns.com/.../du_oneplus3-v13.4-20190707-1336-OFFICIAL.zip
perhaps is then the problem solved and you can install OxygenOS 9.0.4 again...

Install the adb - platform tools v28.0.1 on your PC.
Turn the phone off. Then boot it into fastboot mode by holding volume up + power. The phone will display "fastboot" text indicating that it has successfully entered fastboot mode.
Plug the phone into your PC, then open a command prompt window on the desktop (Shift + Right Click -> Open Command Window here) and type:
fastboot oem unlock
then
fastboot reboot
After that reboot into fastboot again and install TWRP...

After flashing TWRP and still in fastboot, hold power and vol+. Keep both held while it reboots, it takes a few seconds. When the Redmi logo appears and the phone vibrates release the power button. Keep holding the vol+ button until it boots into TWRP.

I can't answer for OP, but he looks to have abandoned the thread.
What I can recommend from personal experience is that using latest version of TWRP - I think it's 4.3.3 (can't tell you exactly, as I'm writing this without checking my laptop on which I have the TWRP and ROM files) - will resolve all your problems.
Thanks for your reply I actually just managed to get root/TWRP/Magisk to work. A lot of the TWRP recovery images that I encountered just caused the phone to boot loop or get stuck on fastboot mode.
The TWRP that worked for me was twrp-3.3.1-15-raphael-mauronofrio.img
following:
fastboot flash recovery twrp-3.3.1-15-raphael-mauronofrio.img
For reference I have the global Mi 9T Pro

Would you be able to post the download link you got your TWRP version from? And maybe go into a little more detail about the reinstalling order (if that is important)?
Also the "mauronofrio" version didn't work (I have the Mi 9T), are there any other options out there?
Many thanks for any responses

Hey sorry didn't see your reply... I haven't had time in the last month to look at it so I'm still stuck. How did you fix it using MiFlash? Did you make it force load TWRP onto the phone or something?
I think there is definitely something wrong with the partition, as when I plug it into the computer it no longer comes up in "my computer" - although I do have the MIUI recovery working again.
Cheers

I'm still not able to get TWRP working... I think all of my problems will be solved as soon as I can get into it, but each time I load the recovery image on (using command prompt) it says it completes, but when I try to reboot it into recovery mode it never works (if I use command prompt to reboot into recovery it just shuts down but if I hold the button combination it either reboots back into fastboot or the original MIUI recovery mode - and yes, I am using the right button combinations).
I've tried every version of TWRP I could find, so I'm certain its not a problem with the recovery image itself... Have you or anyone else had this happen before? It's so infuriating that it just doesn't work, but I don't know why...
BTW the commands I'm using are
Code:
fastboot flash recovery "recovery.img"
(which works) and then
Code:
fastboot boot "recovery.img"
(which gives 2 OKs, but the phone just turns off).
(this all after setting the directory to my adb folder)

help!
my honor 9 lite bootloader is unlocked and i have installed an unknown kernel and now when i want boot into twrp it will boot into stock recovery and when i flash twrp and boot it will boot into stock
i tried all of twrp versions :|
wtf should i do?
plz help me
Hey guys.
Yesterday, something weird happend.
I wanted to flash an update (kernel) so I powered off my phone and started it as usual to get into recovery. But the only thing it does, was to start up into fastboot mode.
I'm being able to boot the ROM with
"fastboot continue" when connected to th PC.
First, I thought the recovery was broken so I reflashed it. Nothing happend. Only fastboot mode.
Then reflashed magisk, in the hope it will solve my issue. Nothing.
So what could it be? A broken boot.img? How could it be fixed? Still annoying

yes. that did it. After that, I was being able to power on as usual but not being able to start recovery. not via TRWP or via Vol+Up + Power or even Advanced Reboot -> Recovery.
So, could a reinstallation of the ROM solve the issue?

Ugh... Sorry I'm a but confused
So you flashed the recovery, booted into recovery via fastboot, and you could move around in the TWRP. Is my understanding correct?
Well if you don't have any data, nothing hurts to reinstall the ROM I guess

Weird. Haven't encountered this in rn10pro. But something similar happened on my previous phone I remember and that time flashing recovery, booting into it, then restarting to recover had worked. You can give it a shot.
If not wait for a better answer or flash the ROM

Didn't work. Always starts in fastboot. Already tried to flash twrp via twrp but didn't helped.
So I tried to flash my ROM again and that did the trick .
