Hi all,
HDMI out is disabled at the kernel level for our phone. Any chance one of the talented developers here will be able to enable it?

I have the Samsung Camera EK-GC100. I read that the signal from HDMI is HDCP-encrypted.
It's work when i connect to HDMI monitor but when I use Blackmagic Intensity Extreme capture is not any signal to capture.
So what the way to make changes into the ROM section Samsung Camera EK-GC100 to disable HDCP-encrypted into HDMI output from the camera. I use Galaxy Camera ToolKit to make root assess but how to remove HDCP-encrypted ???
Best Regards
Charlie
I would assume that this works on hardware level. That would mean: no luck with a different ROM.

Well is a shame. I bay the stupid camera for good video sensor to be used via HDMI capture but right now is piece of junk for me.
Any way read that with Nexus 10 developers released a ROM that disabled HDCP?
Do I have some chance (hardware or software) to remove HDCP **** from HDMI output !?
Best Regards
Charlie

I am also trying to capture galaxy camera input with avermedia game broadcaster .
Thanks,

i have searched forums up and down, ran searches, google...youtube....no luck so i'm just gonna ask.
Is there a rom or app or kernel or something that allows my HTC One to run multi window / multitasking similar to the S4
built in app?

Is this something we shld see in near future? Either from HTC or an updated ROM?
I dont get how this is proprietary to samsung only?

5 inch screen? Multi window = OK.
4.7" screen? Kind of hard.
I know the S3 has it, but meh... Its easier to switch apps often.
Thats really not that much of a size difference....but anyway, was just wondering if there was an existing mod to accomplish...

I just used my hdmi adapter to output to my tv. There is quite a bit overshoot where the top and bottom are cut off. My note 2 used to have an adjustment in settings. I can't find any on the note 3. All I find is an audio setting. Am I missing something? Do I need to use a MHL 2.0 to get correct display?

Hi,
Can someone tell me how to access those features with arhd 30 ?
They are supposed to be new features but I can't see them anywhere.

Right now Dual Capture is a MAX only feature. The 360 Panorama should be enabled, it is on Maximus 20.0

As soon as the HTC One MAX is released we can just pull the camera apk and get those features. Sense 5.5 is already leaked and running on the HTC One, and the MAX has exact same hardware except for fingerscanner and sdcard slot.

Not exactly, from what I understand there is some kernel level goodness going on that enables the feature. It'll probably come as newer leaks come out

Thanks guys, problem is solved then
Guys,
Do you know of any apps that would allow the multi-window feature to work on the M8? Looking to switch over from the SG3 and like the functionality that it gives.

This is the only thing I saw for non Samsung devices:

Any idea on Halo's impact to battery life? I am definitely interested in using it! Also thanks for letting me know about the app!
