Hi everyone,
PRA-LX1 - B100 :
PRA-LX1 - B110 :
PRA-LX1 - B140 (Vodafone) : http://update.hicloud.com:8180/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G1458/g104/v75921/f2/full/update.zip
How to Install :
1) First, download Android 7.0 ROM for Huawei P8 Lite 2017 from above and extract it.
2) Now create a folder dload in the root of your SD card and place the update.app file in that folder.
3) Now dial *#*#2846579#*#* from your phone dialer to open a hidden menu.
4) Now click on Project Menu -> Software Upgrade -> SDCard Upgrade.
5) Now select and run the update.
6) Wait until the installation process is complete and then reboot your device.
7) Done.

7 hours ago haky86 updated the device tree repo on github, but found no kernel.
I think you might need to wait a bit

UPDATE: Haky86 (hak86) added on github the device tree and the vendor repos, but I don't think they're complete, is has just some proprietary files, not all, like on some P8 Lite old repos. But it's a good start. That means maybe is some time you will get a custom rom.
Edit: "but I don't think they're complete" as far as my dumb developing thinking, the device tree has some things like audio bluetooth, overlay, I don't see any wifi, still.
The vendor(blobs) I don't think they're completely done

does anybody know if PRA-LX1 - C33B120 is out yet ? I can't find it anywhere.

Try to use Firmware Finder on the play store and follow their topic on xda. This thread is unnecessary now

Which is the last firmware for p8 lite 2017?
My version is B115 but it doesn't show new updates

There's PRA-LX1C33B130 available.

Huawei has regional updates, i'm on B110 and Huawei responded to me that i should receive B126 on my device, but i would need to be within central Europe to get it OTA as my device is eu model, phone also needs regional SIM card inserted. I'm currently in Ireland so i can't get it.

No, you have to unlock bootloader and flash boot.img, recovery.img and system.img of new firmware via fastboot. Make sure it's exactly firmware for your phone.

[OTA] Build 164 - LX1C432 Report

Hi!
Just received OTA on LX1C432 (p8 lite 2017 - black - stock - without brand - france).
This update seems to be released a week ago, but needs 15-30 days to be detected. It needs a sim card too.
Changes :
Ota from b110 to b164
EMUI 5.0 / Android 7.0
Security patch : 5 may
Stability and performance improved.
On call UI optimized
Language fix (serbian)
Mobile data logging optimized
Thanks Huawei for this release, maybe we can hope EMUI5.1 in few months/weeks ? Whats are your thought about this update ?

Go to settings and go to software update -> check update. I know that Huawei check system number (you can't do cross-flash) and moreover it checks the IMEI for branded update.

I was with B110 firmware.

I'm on B115, using a UK sim, and no sign of update...
Maybe I can try putting in a different sim. Will notify here if I have any news.

I'm not sure B115 is the same region, B164 update is for devices that are on B110.

B164 is not for every PRA-LX1C432, there are different regions of this device. This OTA comes on devices that are on B110, if not you should wait for your update.

But still, if i restore twrp backup there wont be any errors in restoration, hardware of every PRA-LX1 is identical. My only concern is will dualsim work.
If someone can, please consider uploading the backup

Hey there.... Can you please upload a TWRP Backup of you phone?

I bought this phone : Huawei Honor 8 Lite in Serbia, Belgrade.
I got this phone with PRA-LX1 C432B125, from february. In july, you guis got B164 update, but i get B165.
Next update for you is b170, but i am directly from b165 to b175, with out b170. August security patch. Pralx1 c432 devices are different in each country, or i donot know.

Firmware finder on playstore says that I can update to B397 without IMEI but without IMEI says that it's not approved. Should I do it?

Not really. Look for Tecalote instructions how to update with no check recovery. That's how I did it and now I am on B398.

I have those features in my P9 L29C636B394. Also it is at January 1, 2018 android security patch level. I don't notice any battery difference but then I am not a heavy user and the battery has always been good.

Yes, dual sim and C636 is Asia Pacific although I live in Canada. All my updates are through Firmware Finder. None have come OTA because of where I live. The P9 was never sold in Canada.

I downloaded it but it fails to flash the software just reaches 5% then a "fail" sign shows up

Also pro tip :
If you try to install the firmware from Firmware finder, use the approved firmware only.
Also use Full OTA -MF.
The update must be the next one in order. (eg : if b385,b386 and b387 are available, install b385 first then 386 and 387)
I used to get the update failed error, but after following the above steps, I was able to update. (Now on Jan security patch)/

How can i remove NRD90M test keys bulid number and update my PRA-LX1?

Hello everyone, I wanted to update my P8 Lite 2017 to Oreo version, but i can not get update and i found out that my build number is NRD90M test keys, so i guess that is the problem. Does anyone know how can I remove it, or install original stock firmware and then update it?

Go ahead and download Huawei Firmware Finder from the Play Store.
You will get your way around it,but find the firmware which is approved for install.
I would recommend finding 8.0.0.369,because I believe that update still allows Magisk and custom ROMs to work,but not sure.
But if you want the latest,find 8.0.0.377,has August security patches.
And then you can try updating by VPN method included in the app.

Hello, can someone give me a image and tutorial how to manually install EMUI 9.1 on my Mate 20 lite becuse he is branded to our carrier VIP RS and if i wait for regular update it will come maybe for New Year

without unlocked boadloader i think its imposible to flash any version manually. You need to wait for ota according your model and country.

The update is already there.
You just need to login/register into Huawei ID and install the official Beta App:
consumer.huawei.com/de/support/fut/
Start the App, login and select the update.
Switch back to software upgrade app, your phone will update to 9.1 ASAP
