experiencing the same issue as yours with the same playback info - internet speed is not an issue on my end
I think its on the Netflix side to support HDR on our phone.
Yes the phone has widevine L1 but I dont think its mean that the phone gets automaticly HDR, but it gets HD.
Netflix has to certificate the phone for HDR support , for now you can only see in YouTube .
What's happened?
I think it's because covid19

Exactly as the title states. When I flashed CM12 for quark I found that netflix (and no other video services) from showing Video. Anyone else having this issue, if so how did they fix it. I have checked the internet and most fixes do not work and/or are very old. Any advice would be appreciated

I'm on cm12.1 DEC 4th build and Netflix works.
I am running the same build, are you using a modified Kernel or something else?
Found this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4D0MZmDMz8 an hour ago. It boots and everything but im still testing for bugs. so far for me camera doesnt work. looking for other to help test for bugs so we can squash them. Thanks to Droid Mobile!!!
In addition to the camera not working, I can not get video/audio playback of any kind. Which sucks because this is a VERY snappy build!

i get audio but no video. and yes indeed it is extremely fast!
I'd love to test for bugs with you two but AFH is currently down for maintenance so I can't get the zip file.
Question, is calling/texting working fine? What about cellular data in general?
Thank you guys for trying it out! I can't test as this is my daily, but I would love to hear more. Nougat seems very promising and I'd love to try it out once it's a little more refined!

Since AFH is still down is there any chance you could re-upload this [temporarily] somewhere else so you can get a few more people to help test it? I'd love to help out.

To my knowledge the site is up right now(just checked). Try the site now.
It boots and it's really fast, but it doesn't have camera or audio/video playback, which means no phone calls either. Bluetooth works though for audio.

New build up for our H811. Looks like all new unofficial builds will be here.
9/21 build has working audio, video, and camera. Data is a bit wonky it gets LTE just fine but 2G/3G seems to be not working for me. Video chat on Facebook Messenger does have some very slight audio drops from time to time but very solid. Also noticed that the video on Facebook Messenger doesn't go proper full screen the notification bar and navigation bar remain on screen.

I'm not sure how you got that to work, I installed 9/21 and I don't have audio, video, or camera at all. Same behavior as 9/14 after clean or dirty flash.

I left a comment over on the LG G4 forum, not this T-Mobile specific one, letting people know what I found working and not working based on the 9/14 build. I received a reply to it which I'm going to quote below.
"Yeah earlier builds didn't have the audio policies fixed; now they do. Obviously the camera is being worked on"
Can anyone else confirm what FlinderMouse said? I'd rather not flash it just yet and I'm skeptical of what AngryManMLS is stating regarding audio/video/camera working in the 9/21 build.

It's 100% safe to install. And since I've had more time to use it here's a more comprehensive list of where things are at right now. Keep in mind we are basically in alpha stage at this point but this is a very solid alpha build. Also keep in mind that this is my own experience with the 9/21 build which could be different from the one you have.
Video Playback - YouTube, Slingplayer, DirecTV all work for me with no issues.
Audio Playback - Google Play Music and PowerAMP work all fine for me with no issues outside of occasional audio drops (see: Bluetooth, Video Over IP).
Video Over IP - Facebook Messenger works but there's some audio drop outs I experienced and it doesn't go proper full screen.
Bluetooth - Both my Bose QC35 and LG G Watch connect and work just fine but Bluetooth itself seems to randomly turn off for no reason. Also had occasional audio drops on my QC35.
LG G Watch - Able to sync properly and do everything from changing music tracks on PowerAMP to using Google Fit with ease.
Data - A little slow to find LTE but that works. 2G and 3G is flaky at best at this point.
WiFi - Connects to my Linksys EA9500 just fine and works just fine.
Phone Calls - Can make and receive phone calls just fine. Obviously no WiFi Calling available but to be honest CM13 at this point doesn't have that implemented for the H811 (T-Mobile) G4 variant.
Camera/Camcorder - On the native CM14 camera app able to take pictures on rear camera no problem. Front (selfie) camera is messed up. Unable to record video. However on Facebook Messenger the front (selfie) camera works with no issues. So camera at this point is semi working.
NFC - It turns on and off... and that's as much as I can tell you since I usually don't use NFC.
And to also note some expected Cyanogenmod features are either missing or are not working at this point. For instance I'm unable to change the battery meter it's stuck on the default one. And the theme engine hasn't been implemented into CM14 at this point but that's a given at this point. Still for what is an alpha level build this is pretty solid and still pretty usable even with the bugs it has right now. The build is very fast for the most part - I did experience occasional lag when turning the phone on and waiiiiiting for the lock screen to appear. Worth giving a run for even a few hours just so you can play around with Nougat for a bit.

I'm on 20o already and based on what you said above I'm sold. I'll flash it this evening and then also report back with my findings.
By chance you haven't tried the camera with the Google Camera, have you? Asking more out of curiosity than a need to know if it works with that fine too.

I actually forgot to test with Google Camera. Interestingly enough video recording at least at 1080p works on Google Camera. Here's a quick test video I did.

Thank you for the excellent builds. Sorry I forgot to write that earlier.
Excellent build for the 9/21. I am using it as a DD for the next few days so Ill update.
Video and Audio seem to working just fine now.
LTE is a little slow to kick in on reboot but nothing worse than the previous CM13 builds
I have had to forced reboots and both revolve around the stock CM gallery. I installed Google Photos since I use it for backups and have had no issues yet. Google camera seems to be working the best so far. I normally use the paid version on Snap Camera but its not playing back the recordings. Smooth snappy in and out of apps and screens. And so far battery life is shaping up to be very good.
On the first install I was having issues. I had to KDZ to stock 20o and then go through the rooting process again before I could get this working. It was just hanging on the "Starting Apps" boot screen and would go no futher no matter how long I let it boot.
Currently running the 9/21 build flashed over 20i. No audio or sim card recognition. I have WiFi luckily . can't install lollipop ROMs, this is the only one that will boot. So based on my experience, I'd say be on 20o when you flash. 20i seems to be totally buggered up. Like I said, I can't even boot lollipop ROMs now so I'll have to kdz to 20o when I get home so my phone will have signal and audio. I've also noticed rotation does not work.

Hi thank you for answer.
I'm on 157 and not working. Dunno what to do.
Same trouble
Software patchset 177 and same trouble.
Did you get any clues?
I am using an Xiaomi Mi 9 T Pro 128GB with Xiaomi.Eu FW Version 9.12.27 and an open bootloader but no root.
The last months i was using Amazon Prime Video on the device without any problem. I streamed Content or downloaded files to watch them without online connection.
Two or three days ago, when i wanted to use it again, i could start the video, i heard the sound, but the screen went black and i couldn´t see the video. No matter if i tried to stream a video or tried to watch a downloaded video, the screen turned black. And there was no difference which video resolution i streamed or downloaded.
After a research online i found this and some other articles...
https://www.xda-developers.com/redmi-k20-k20-pro-support-amazon-prime-video-hd/
In this article you can read that Amazon "HD" will not work if you have an open bootloader. So far so good, i mean... not good... but good to know...
So what i do not understand is the fact that i can´t see any video. The device chooses HD Content and i can´t change it to SD or any other resolution. And if i download a video with the smallest video size available, it´s also not possible to watch it. The screen turns black...
And the second thing i don´t understand, why did it work before, at a time when there was no official support from amazon?
Soooo... is there any fix or workaround for that problem? Can anyone help?
thx in advance...

This only happens in beta versions of MIUI that came after December 12th. To resolve, use a stable version of MIUI or go to a beta earlier or equivalent to the 12th update.
Netflix and Amazon Prime working again in K20 Pro
I also had this issue with beta rom , solved this by installing "libemocrypto disabler" module in magisk , now netflix and amazon prime both working fine.
As everyone here should know, there is a problem on the device where after a while using the screen at 90HZ, the interface starts to lag and it is necessary to restart the device. Here is a palliative solution, but for some it may be definitive:
1 - Make sure the screen is at 60Hz. Go to network settings and switch from 4G/LTE to 3G;
2 - Put your device in airplane mode;
3 - Change the frequency to 90Hz again and restart the device;
4 - Wait for startup and remove airplane mode;
After that, it is possible to use it without the problem mentioned above.
Tested on MIUI 12.0.11 and 12.5.1.0 EEA.
In some cases, after performing this procedure and returning to 4G, the device may not present the problem for a long time. However, it is likely to happen at some point, as it appears to be connected in some way to the mobile network. Hope it is helpful.
Alternative solution Edit:
Found by @wetito, working for some, but for me It didnt, try by your risk.

I don't believe it. But it could be some inconsistency in drivers or hardware. Phones from Realme like Realme 8 5G/Narzo 30 5G also have this problem.
in normal use now i don't see any rilevant lag. but i have not tested in gaming. only video streaming, social, ecc. you have already enabled the gpu render on developer option? also disable swap (ram extension) is a good thing to do. Facebook not lag also via web browser. with 90hz. if the system lag, facebook scroll is terrible. tmy render graph is normal. you can see on screenshot. software render and swapp are the first causes of lagging in most of systems. also for PC
edit: also choose a good theme is important. recentrly i tried a theme from store that cause a lot of system lags within 90 and 60hz. so my conclusion is that lags aren't necessary related to 90hz frequence
