[Q] Brick Moto x2014 1097

hi i have a problem i installed android L in my moto x 2014 1097 , but i want to install also root and i follow a tutorial for kitkat then when mi phone restart gets stuck on the motorola logo showing at the inception of the world appears with pure water and the M in the center of the world, and hence does nothing more, I can not enter recovery mode or mode factory, I hope you can help me greetings

can't enter recovery because it won't launch TWRP/Android stock recovery options/Android figure with red exclamation point or it really can't boot in any sort of recovery? Most probably you blew your recovery so you will have to flash it using fastboot and will need a virgin custom rom. Some users have already posted the links and procedures to do it in the forum, so proceed as they say and you'll be fine.

Any possibility someone has a copy of the updated firmware after the ota? The one posted here won't successfully boot and I need to go back to stock.Hopefully someone on here can help lol

The kernel version is prerelease (gcc version 4.9.x 20150123). Hardly Samsung would do the ROM on the prerelease software. Maybe this is a test ROM aired via OTA by mistake?

A new bootloader is including rollback prevention mechanism. A "RP SWREV" string appeared which was not there. Right now it is "B3 K2 S2".

Do not upgrade right now! Better wait until official update for more regions will be released.

By the way: can I downgrade the bootloader with the tickbox "update phone bootloader" selected in Odin and then selecting the previous versions of bootloader? Apparently not.

You can use any of the Roms in this forum or the Rom from Panama too.

new query, I have a second j7 prime which came with 6.0 from factory, update via odin only pda and csc (home) but still contains bloatware of movistar, if I flash all files (boot, pda, csc and others) more hard reset It should be totally clean, right? and then do the same process for the two phones to go to 8.1 with the panama version

Gente, instale mediante una instalacion limpia desde odin con los 4 archivos la version 8.1.0 de panama, y funciona perfectamente! El que este interesado en tener oreo ahi tienen la confirmacion de que funciona al 100% sin bugs por ahora. Tuve que mirar en youtube unos videos para descomprimir y comprimir nuevamente los archivos del nuevo firmware dado a que vienen con un formato no soportado por odin

I am trying to do the reverse U1 (unlocked USA version) -> U (ATT). I tried flashing the ATT CSC but I do not get the Hotspot or visual voice mail. I dont see ATT Bloatware either. Wondering if someone can point me

Hello, I'm Brazilian too!. Lenovo Rescie will not recognize your device for rescue unless you are on the correct or older CN version of it. If you want to pass the retbr you can get it on Lolinet and pass via fastboot but you know that it will remain without streaming banks (Netflix, hbo, Disney) if you use root you can get the banks but streaming no chance. I turned mine back to CN and locked the bootloader again. I use setedit to leave all apps in pt BR and I only have the system in English, in fact I have part of it in Portuguese.For me it was better, I have a tutorial with everything linked to the process. (Back to CN) There you will also find a link to ROM BR, EU, and the best way to do it
