My main camera is vibrating uncontrollably with weird sound on hardware. Can someone help me?
Tried formatring the phone and nothing happened.
What you mean vibrating uncontrollably,
You mean when you use the camera app ?
The image ?

Hi
I upgraded my XZ to 4.2.2 and after this im having a weird problem.
If im outdoors in the sunlight and make a call or take a call and then put the phone to my ear to speak .. after im done with the call .. the screen refuses to come back on until the other party disconnects.. but if i cover the light sensor with my hand . the screen comes on and i can disconnect the call ..
is anyone else facing this issue ?
any resolutions please ?
thanks in advance
As for a temp solution until you solve it, you can tick the "power button ends call" option in accessibility.
guys i am on latest oos 4.5.0 right now
since i updated to 4.1.7 i started to have auto.focus issues with the camera
whenever i open the camera app it is always out of focus and when i tap to focus it still does not get focused and produces a slight vibration
after 10 seconds the focus finally begins to work
is this normal ?
edit: i also tried opening the camera app with the phone kept near my ear with the camera facing the ear so that it has difficulty focusing it
i could hear the buzzing sound for 3 to 4 seconds this time
can someone plz confirm if this happens with their device as well
That's the auto focus motor that's probably broken/stuck, it's just moving in its position causing the sound you hear.
my phone is still under warranty
i guess i will have to go for a camera unit replacement then
No dude this **** happened to me too right after I downloaded the new update. I thought it was sjust me going crazy but it's so intense that my phone refuses to focus.
yup the phone really does not focus however i got my camera replaced from the service centre and now it's working great
Should I just try replacing the camera myself or do I have to send it in? Kinda just sucks really

Replacement procedure did not take more than an hour so I would recommend you to go to the service centre and get it replaced from OnePlus itself
Hi,
I have really odd bug on my nokia 7 plus.
Whenever I press the shutter button under poor focus or low light conditions,
It sounds "Be-be-be-beep". and it's very annoying me.
I think this must be a software bug, because I can't hear this odd sound in beauty mode. (same condition)
I don't care shutter sound itself, but this shutter sound is really odd.
I already did factory reset and reset settings several times but nothing changed.
Of course, I'm also using google camera app, but I prefer to nokia camera's color and bokeh effect.
Does anyone have solution? Please give me some tips.
P.S. I can't make a link because I'm rookie here, you can find my video by searching "Nokia 7 plus bug" in youtube instead.
I am bringing to notice about a wierd issue with the pop up camera on k20 pro.
Whenever i use the selfie camera ,it's quit and has a gearing sound which can't be heard if you don't listen to it closely and it's normal. But i was testing the fall detection feature of the pop up camera and there i noticed something wierd. Whenever i drop my phone and phone detects fall it retracts the camera as it is supposed to but after retracting it makes a sound which is something like gears jamming with each other. It is audible and doesn't sound normal.
Try it out guys and let me know if this happens with you too.
Perhaps it would be appropriate to indicate also which Rom you are using, on the PE there is a little issue with the frontal camera in switching between video / photo mode, that produce a noise same as yours, in MIUI 10 it works regularly.
Having same issue here
Can anyone is hearing a weird sound in the pop up camera?Just turn off the sound effects and then try to listen to it.Can you hear the same like mine ?
My popup camera produces the same noise.
Any solution? Thanks!

Please report back after disabling pop up camera sounds & upload a short video if possible.
Same problem... Any solution?
I recently installed some Gcam ports because I updated to Android Q. And weirdly, I noticed that the back of the phone vibrates or produces a buzzing noise when I switch camera modes(to night mode, portrait). The buzzing noise lasts only half a second. Please help because I'm worried this may damage my device.
Seems like tiny bit of vibration (by vibration motor) for haptic feedback, which would intentional.

Nope, it's not the vibrator motor. I identified that Gcam 7.2 resets the autofocus system, thus the little buzzing noise I hear.

What? How so? It only happens in main and tele camera? Try it with UltraW angle camera. It's fixed focus.
I do get a vibration haptic feedback. Nothing else
