Hi guys, i stumbled on this firmware so i decided to share it with all of you!
This is a Full Stock Rom with working FaceUnlock. Beware, this is beta software so bugs may happen.
It was tested with BLA-L29 C432 (Mate 10 Pro hw/eu) and it was installed using HWOTA8 guide with no repack needed.
It may also work with HuRu tool and my unofficial TWRP, but i didn't tested.
Devices - BLA-L29 C432 (Mate 10 Pro)
- BLA-L09 C432
Build number - 8.0.0.140 Beta
Factory Reset - Not Required
Unlocked Bootloader - Required
Downnload link - https://mega.nz/#F!x4kCBZqS!E-pQMVwbZjUEvQXDEvtiyw

Hi, I have C782. Is this compatible for me? I assumed that number was just part of the build number and the only important info was the model number?
Cheers

I have always thought that as long as it is BLA-L29 then any firmware that starts with BLA-L29 have the same hardware requirement, but only differ at a software level. Myself have flashed many types of BLA-L29 firmwares and never had a problem,,,,
any contribution from experts?
Thanks, wished I had left my BL open
Anywho, this "beta" is it an open beta or more like a leaked closed beta? If it is an open beta, I'd like to know if Huawei has a beta program for European devices and how to sign in.

Hello everyone,
You can also install it even if your bootloader is closed.
By cons it must go through funkyhuawei. I put it through them.

There is a difference in the Firmware, C is Cust/Region of the Firmware.
C185 is Middle East/Africa
C432 is Europe
C636 is Asia/Pacific
There is a lot off different Cust region firmwares, some are from locked providers like Vodafone etc....
If u flash a Firmware with another Cust then yours your Cust will change to C900 and u wont recive OTA updates, in worst case u will brick your phone!

I'm not sure if it works with hstool. It may be for lya-l29 but it worked on my lya-l09 no problems.
LYA-L29 9.1.0.300 C185 dload.
It's base seems to flash right on any region (C432, C636...) and seems to achieve a proper upgrade to 9.1. -should also work on L09 devices.
But I don't think cust's and preload's zip are even flashing when not with a C185 hw/mneaf oeminfo.

Oh no lol I'm glad it's working great for you. Your welcome
Can you please create a dload version for mate 20x , 9.1.1.118 or 91.1.123 ?
No.
dload firmwares aka service firmwares aka offline firmwares
are told to be different from
Hicloud firmwares aka online firmwares aka FirmwareFinder's firmwares.
But there maybe a way, things is no one tryed, succeed, or told about it.
Sorry but will this work on a Canadian variant LYA-L0C? L29 is the filename of firmware I've flashed before
Any links to one you can flash with EMUI Flasher yet?
Let's give a try (will try root too)
Thanks for your sharing !
Just flashed successfully on LYA-L0C Canadian variant.
Sat verifying for a second but worked with usb otg.
Thanks OP ?
My phone just reboots, does not apply the update. Maybe the download was bad. Anyone have the MD5 hash for the files that were successful so I can compare?
Has anyone tried the 9.1 download? and if I upgrade to a newer version of the android for 9.1 I can go back to 9.0 with dload?
Thanks!
Worked great on my LYA-L29 (C432E10R1P16)
Thanks, works! Hungary Vodafone C432.

hey guys,
I have uploaded 9.1 firmware to be used through the Dload Method,
1 .Create a folder Named dload on either your NM card or Usb OTG
2.Put all 3 zips in that dload folder.
3. Go to dialer and dial *#*#2846579#*#* it will bring up service menu, go to system upgrade then memory card upgrade/sdcard upgrade then accept.
4. your phone will reboot and being the updating process automatically.
DO Not Switch phone off during update process. the dload method will wipe your data !!

Hi m8,
Short answer is NO, because it might get softbricked and you don't have a doco dload firmware to use in order to downgrade to previous firmware on your device.
Flashing another device cust firmware was working well whille on EMUI 9.1 and users could flash the international dload firmware version (VOG-L29 C432 one) without the risk of getting softbricked. Once EMUI 10 was released, a lot of users got their devices softbricked, because of security changes inside kernel and within system itself. Some of them managed to revived their units using different methods or when Huawei released the firmware for their devices, but there are still many of those who are waiting for an dload firmware release for their custs.
So my advice is to wait for docomo to release the update and don't flash VOG-L29 C432 dload firmware on your device (or you could do it knowing the risks and assuming them). Untill today, no user from docomo tested if flashing C432 will work, because of the chances of getting a softbrick.

Hi m8,
I will answer for both posts :
1. YES, you can remove them using ADB commands. For how to remove, check my thread from here - https://forum.xda-developers.com/hu...w-to-remove-huawei-bloatware-vog-ele-t4014937
For finding out the name of the app you need to remove from your phone, install this app and use the original name of the apk's you need to remove (select app and press details) - https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/jumobile/system-app-remover-root/system-app-remover-root-7-1-release/
2. When you say you have the original firmware from docomo, what do you mean by that? Is it the dload firmware that can be flashed using an OTG adapter+memory stick (or Huawei NMCard) or some other firmware? As my knowledge, if you flash an EMUI 10 firmware and got softbricked device, YOU won't be able to downgrade to EMUI 9.1, just using a proper dload firmware (in your case the one released by docomo) could revive your phone. So in your case, i would wait for them to release the update ?
Let me know how can i help you more and be safe

For the dialer you can use the default Google Phone app and Google Contacts, maybe there are closer than what you're used to ?.
NO, you cant modify the firmware prior flashing it. If you / all of us could unlock bootloader and rooted our devices + installed TWRP on our Huawei phones, you could have flashed a custom ROM or remove/adding using ROOT ANY apps you would like. But as we can't unlock our bootloaders anymore, we have to use EMUI as is, customised by docomo or other provider. Only way to have a clean firmware is by getting an international or Chinese version of the device, one with C431 / C432 or AL-00 cust .
Installing other firmware COULD get you a softbricked device. I say could because nobody has yet tested flashing an C432/C431 cust firmware on the Japanese DoCoMo phones .

Ouch, i've replied you earlier about your firmware in case of backup, but it seems that you have a higher release version than the one available on easy-firmware.com (they have VOGUE-L0JB 9.1.0.136(C341E136R1P2) whille you have on your device v9.1.0.182(C341E136R1P2). So in case of flashing a C432 firmware on your device and get a softbrick, you are unable to return to latest available for your device. And as i've seen in your SS, there might be some problems regardless LTE basebands, which may be different in Japanese device vs European (International version).
So i would reccomend you to wait, maybe your next 1-2 firmware updates will bring you EMUI 10, alongside March/April security patches, as now you have January 1st 2020 on it ?

Hi there, m8. If you would asked me before?, i would recomend you to stay on your actual version... But now it's too late, so you will have to try using the GMS methods to install & use Google Services on your device.
I would also reccomend you to use a dload firmware to get back to your original cust, but there's no EMUI 10 n'or EMUI 10.1 dload firmware released for VOG-L0J .
For info about how to install GMS, use YouTube or xda P40 Pro thread:
1. YouTube - link 1 / link 2 or just search for How to install GMS on Huawei P40 Pro
2. P40 Pro xda thread - https://forum.xda-developers.com/hu...uide-method-to-install-google-mobile-t4120143 or https://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p40-pro/help/gms-method-t4163345

Good luck,

hi. SilviuO. thank you !
I got a VOG-L0J 9.1.0.136(C341) firmware now.
then I will downgrade to it then upgrade to EMUI10 again.
because I want to find out why google auth failed . before I did factory reset ,everything was ok.
is there risk for it?
thank you again.

If you have an dload firmware for EMUI 9.1 and you will flash it, there's a BIG problem: YOU WILL GET YOURSELF A SOFTBRICKED DEVICE! The only way for you to rollback to EMUI 10 and then to EMUI 9.1 is through HiSuite and by using the right firmware for your device. I know that there's none released, so unless you get yourself (maybe from a Phone Service Center) a dload firmware EMUI 10 or EMUI 10.1 for VOG-L0J to use it, then you'll need to use your device AS IS ?.
Hope you haven't used the EMUI 9.1 firmware untill now and you get to read this before

Hello,
I brought a new P30 pro VOG-L29C, i found it with 9.1.0.260(WEC891E3R1P5) so i tried to update form Hicare and Hisuite but they say i have the last version.
So i downloaded Roms :
* Huawei P30 Pro VOG-L29 hw eea HLRCF VOGUE-L29C 10.0.0.190(C431E19R2P5)
* HUAWEI P30 PRO VOG-L29 HW EU VOGUE-L29C 10.0.0.168(C432E19R2P5)
But when i reboot to flash it with usb it says : incompatible version
Can anyone help me to update to VOGUE-L29C 10.1.0.123(C431E19R2P5patch02) ?
Bad ROMs, You must flash C891 as You got in default. Search in Firmware Finder which version is for Your phone.
BTW You have demo version

NO one can help you, m8! Search @ this forum and see how users got softbricked demo units for the last year!
There's no dload firmware for DEMO units since EMUI 9.1. ON EMUI 9.1 demo units users flashed VOG-L29 C431 dload firmware and that's how they update device. On EMUI 10 things got different when updating and everytime you choose to update with various dload firmwares or methods, you end up with a softbricked device. READ from this thread - https://forum.xda-developers.com/hu...to-flash-approved-fullota-zip-t4112775/page99
Huawei isn't supporting anymore those devices because they are not sold as retail one, those are intended to be displayed on retail stores, for demo.

You would need an unlocked bootloader ? for that (which isn't possible because Huawei isn't giving them anymore) & it would require a rebrand to your phone. But without unlock bootloader code there is no root, no rebrand....
If you will flash & succseed any dload firmware for C431 you will get softbricked & untill now, there's no way to revive device.
My advice is to use it as is, with EMUI 9.1 on-board. Or sell it and buy a retail unit, that's way better than having a brick - in case you still go & flash EMUI 10/EMUI 10.1 on it -or staying on EMUI 9.1 ?

m8 is the abreviation from mate ?.
So, if you want to revert to official firmware, you'll need an OTG adapter/OTG cable + an USB device and using dload firmware from my dload thread (Huawei P30 PRO VOG-L29 C431 v10.1.0.161
GDRIVE VOGUE-L29C 10.1.0.161(C431E23R2P5)_FIRMWARE_EMUI10.1.0_05017B HV online), you will get your official firmware back. Be advised it will wipe clean data (Factory Reset device).
Snd method is by flashing latest VOG-L29 C431 firmware from my other thread, v179, which is latest rekeased on Firmware Finder. After flashing it, make a factory reset and then set it up as a new device.
Good luck flashing, any method you'll use it to get VOG-L29 C431 firmware on-board.
Also, there's no italian / french / english / dutch / romanian / bulgarian and so on firmwares. C431 is the international firmware used on all C431 devices, regardless EU zone (or extra EU zone). On some units solds by carriers (Vodafone, Orange, Telekom), they add extra carrier settings by sending a patch that will get your phone carrier branded.
Cheers,
SilviuO
