I saw from Sony website that the latest firmware is android 10, but I did't receive OTA by now.
The new ROM can be downloaded from Xperiafrim, but to flash the firmware, it will wipe my phone

sorry, it's not Android 10, it's still Android 9.
Sony announced Xperia 10 to receive an update in "early 2020" whatever that means. Guess we Just need to wait.

I saw the forum posting saying that the android O update is rolling out in australia and new zealand. this got me concerned because i dont believe my phone can get OTA updates. I rooted and flashed roms and went back to stock, however my bootloader says the phone is modified and google play says the phone is uncertified. is there anyway i can go back to true retail stock to guarantee that i can receive the OTA update when it rolls out in the states?
If you have flashed the correct firmware according to the country where u live u will definately get OTA updates. Many times I flashed Oct security patch updates and after booting I get notification to update my phone. It doesn't matter if bootloader is locked or unlocked , modified or official . Even if you're rooted then also you will receive notification to update but if try to update it may crash. Just make sure it's a clean unrooted official firmware.

Hi, i m pretty sure that i m stucked. My Phone is at 1 january security update, i didnt receive any update via ota since i update maunally from SD card the Android pie update, i think i wronged the country when choosing the files, is this possible? I mean now i m afraid that i will not receive anymore updates
a bit more info would help. what you had before and then what you did etc. it could be that you simply use odin, with maybe correct firmware, to return to receiving ota
I let a friend of mine put the Pie beta on my phone, and now I'm not able to get the official version. I have a security patch from Dec. 2019. I'm using tmobile in the US. I've tried smart-switch and ota and they both say that I already have the latest software. What do I have to do to get the official version of Android Pie?

Download the latest apropiate fimware/carrier firmware version for your phone and flash it with odin, from then on, you will receive the available updates
My phone has never had any updates, build number is pra-lx1c432b191. Android 7. Emui 5.0.1

Theres one for android 8,emui 8 but youre gonna need your bootloader unlocked, that its no longer possible since huawei have stopped giving unlock codes, you can a try a privste service thou.
I've relied on ota updates on my P20 Pro but it still hasn't received the android 10 update, even though my provider is meant to have pushed it out. Its unlocked, so I should be able to install any version for my model CLT-L09 (C782). Is it possible to download this update and install it through the e-recovery menu?
