I'm not getting any notifications from my apps such as Facebook, Yahoo mail, etc. I'm on xxlc1 gingerbread. Sync and background data are both on in settings. Its rare but sometimes a notification will come through for Facebook, but notifications for other apps never come through.

I will note for clarification, messaging and hey tell notifications do show up, just not notifications for email, or other apps like that.

Check the app settings, not the phone settings for notifications, the phone only sync, but if u want notifications go to the facebook, gmail or whatever app and check if the notifications are enabled.

Checked again to make sure. Everything is set correctly. It's weird, sometimes everything works fine, then other times I don't get any of my notifications. It reminds me how ios worked when I had an iPhone, if you ran so many things after the app you were supposed to get notifications from, it just doesn't happen because it gets kicked out of memory. rebooting seems to help though. Just annoying it happens randomly

Hi everyone, I've just uninstall go sms pro and then reinstall it. What happen to me is that all messages that I put into private box disappear. when I enter the private box, App require me to create lock, notification...anđ then "No private messages yet"
For me, they are valuable messages, how can I retrieve them?
Thanks you so so muchhhhhh..
I am sorry if this thread are posted in wrong place.
Can anyone help me?
Thanks you very much
You may want to check your stock messaging app as any messages you sent or received from GoSMS, should also show up there.

Thanks you but It show nothing on stock messager app or other sms app like hancent or chomp
does anyone know how to stop the messaging app from displaying the entire message and the navigation bar and when you turn your screen on does anyone know how to make it just say message message received . I'm wondering if I may have to use a third-party messaging app ?
Messaging>settings>notifications> bottom 2 options
?

Hi all,
I have a strange issue that I cannot solve.
I am using the Samsung standard messaging app and all is working perfect.
I wanted to test the Google messaging app so I installed next to the Standard Samsung one.
The problem is that in the Google app not all messages are showing. It is random and has nothing to do with people having Iphone or not.
And not all messages of the same threat are not showing up. Some do and some don't.
If I open the Samsung app all are present???
Any idea what the problem is?
Thank you
Maybe some of the messages in the samsung app are probably enhanced messages, meaning they were sent as data like an imessage. So when Google messages looks at your list of sms, it doesn't see those

Ok, I understand. But I thought that Google message had also enhanced messaging. Or am I wrong?
And how could I solve this?
Thank you in advance

Did you enable and register enhanced messaging service for Android messaging? Failing that try this. View attachment 4617783
