So here's the thing. The phone was kinda fuzzy, cause it didn't load an App. So I tried to turn it off and on again.
Aaand then it was kinda bricked. The phone is starting but it just flashes the Mi Logo. Afterwards it shows black Screen.
I can't boot up into my recovery. i tried it via fastboot reboot recovery. i also can't boot into an twrp-santoni.img because the Bootloader is locked. i can get fastboot running but i'm not allowed to do anything.
Is the only way to get my phone up and running again to flash it via PIN forced EDL?
Is there another way to access the Data on my Phone?
Can I still access the Data or at least clone the partition? I want to keep the files!
Does any1 know a lil?
Best Regards

I updated my oneplus and i got the TWRP decryption message, so i formatted it back to the stock format.
now all the phone does is boot into the bootloader but gets stuck on the boot screen of Blu Spark 3.1.1
my computer wont recognize it while its in the bootloader or while its stuck trying to boot in twrp
is there anything i can do or is my phone screwed at this point? i see a lot of threads that would answer parts of my issue but nothing that covers this as a whole. id rather ask for help now while there may be some hope.

So no response to fastboot commands, while in bootloader-fastboot mode?
Are you sure you installed the right drivers for your pc? If all else fails, you can do this.
This is how I fixed my phone when i was stuck at a black screen. You can also try a different usb cord or port. Check device manager and see if it recognizes it when its plugged in. hope this helps!

can you boot into fastboot? if your phone can boot to fastboot mode..just flash stock recovery image..then flash rom via adb shell (better flash the stock rom). if it works you can reinstall the custom recovery image or something. dont forget to erase everything via stock recovery..
Hi,
so i got a situation here that xiaomi mi a2 (6x) out of nowhere rebooted to factory recovery with message "cant load android system. your data may be corrupt. If you continue to get this message you may need to perform factory reset deleting all data stored on this device"
Now after turning it off and on, it shows black screen "failed to boot" with option to power off or restart.
When restarting it goes to factory recovery again with that message and option to factory reset or try again (restart)
Now i cant perform factory reset before backing up the data, but i cant find the way to backup.
There is no custom recovery to download files from phone. When tried to flash custom recovery found out i cant because bootloader locked. And when found the way (dont know i it works) to unlock it without loosing data - cant do even that because developer options must be enabled to allow unlocking and debugging, so i get message in adb console FAILED (remote: Flashing Unlock is not allowed.
Is there any other way to keep the data before doing factory reset ?
Maybe try to flash with miflash keeping the data

unfortunately miflash cant do anything with locked bootloader as well. Just when starts to flash, gets error with bluetoth_a.
After research i noticed that miflash does nothing special at all just automated flash commands. In rom directory you can find flashing .bat files and run them in adb console.
When did that got all the data log, that bluetooth a is the first file that is tried to flash and stuck on locked bootloader.
Hello. Did you manage to solve your problem?
I have the same saituation.
Hi, unfortunately the only way i found is EDL mode.
https://youtu.be/i3OU4DOd7aY
When you keep those pins shorted, plug usb to your pc, and then , simply said, pc sees it as another device that can be flashed with everything locked.
So i flashed with miflash with keeping files option, but all that was saved is locking pattern. All media files lost.
Anyway, now i rooted and installed custom recovery to avoid any incident like this.

Hi,
I'll start by saying this is the first time i've tried putting a custom rom on a phone.
I unlocked the device, enabled usb debugging and installed twrp. I was able to get into recovery mode and wiped the correct partitions.
I was then unable to install pixel experience? I was unsure how to put the rom on the phone. It was not coming up on my pc when connected.
I then disabled MTP and rebooted the phone. It went straight to fastboot and no matter how many times i reflash twrp, or what button combinations i push, i'm stuck in fastboot.
Can anyone help?!
Thanks in advance!
A helpless noob
Hi All, I need fastboot!
Perhaps someone can help with my brick? I've unlocked the bootloader, installed TWRP and had lineageOS 18.1 installed once. The screen was dim so I tried to flash DotOS. And got a "failed to mount /tmp/com.android.resolv.apex to loop device /dev/block/loop16" error so I tried to reinstall stock 57 ROM.
I did "fastboot flash recovery boot.img" with the decrypted boot.img hoping to get colourOS recovery.
The phone is now bootlooping trying to get into recovery mode. It won't power off or respond to button presses except vol up + vol down seems to delay the reboot on a blank screen.
I was hoping to get to fastboot mode to flash TWRP. Can anyone help? Should I surrender and accept the bricking?
you can get back to stock by install the stock rom, vendor, and kernel with adb drivers and commands.
or
if your mobile is MIUI you can just use the software to revert back to stock rom remember it re-locks the bootloader and again you need to unlock
The phone is currently boot looping.
I can't even turn it off.
It displays RealME/Android logo, then small "> RECOVERY MODE" text at bottom, then "Orange State" text. Repeat..
It has no response to a usb cable - no usb messages in dmesg. So it is not detected by adb or fastboot.
When the battery finally goes flat, my only hope is that I can get fastboot to flash TWRP into the recovery partition. I am not confident of this :-(

Not yet, but I will try the youtube method above..
This recovered the Phone!
But, win10 reported the MCT extractor contained a worm (the python script under linux didn't work). I'm not sure I can trust this phone 100% from now on LOL!
the bypass just deactivates mtk hardware verificaton as normally they have a special dongle they use with the software download
I havent had any issues
I will upload thw bypass i use which doesnt havw any virus
So, i got a second hand mi 5 last week. Seller told me that it had software issue and I thought I could fix it. Because it was really cheap.
The device was stuck on bootloop when I had it. But I was able to open mi recovery and fast boot menus. i tried many options to flash a stable stock rom. The most useful one was to flash via XiaomiTool v2. It says successfully flashed and reboots but stuck on bootloop every time. (Tried few times already).
the bootloader is locked and no mi accounts binded to the device. Computer detects the device successfully.
I tried adb commands as well, but since bootloader is locked i couldn't get any further to flash or wipe.
Any useful suggestions?
Can you still access to fastboot mode?
If so, you need fastboot oem unlock to unlock bootloader first, before anything else.
