LED notifications.....very hit and miss and doesn't use the colours you select.
Screensaver.....only works when on charge?
Scheduled charging, never works in the times I set, just does it all the time and sits at 80% unless I skip it.
Any ideas?
Apart from that, all seems well!
"Scheduled charging" work for me, i set start on 23:00 and finish on 7:30.
From 23:00 to 2:00 go to 80% and stop.
At 8:00 my phone go to 100% from 80%. Is great for save battery life in the years to come.
Mines set to similar times to yours. In the day time it comes on.....and sits at 80% how odd.
Scheduled charging is working for me as well.
Just put mine on charge at 16:00, said scheduled charging is activated!? I have to skip it so it charges to 100% otherwise it won't till 06:00 tomorrow
Any answers on screensaver only working on charge, is that right?
How about people's led notification light, do your colours work?
Looks like my blue led might be dead. Can get other colours to work.
Is there any test software?
The notification LED isn't RGB, it's RG only (which also lets it do orange and yellow).
I swear I saw blue once lol. Ok, thanks for letting me know

Hiya,
about an hour ago I plugged my nearly dead Kaiser to the standart charger and connected it using bluetooth to my notebook. I was very surprised to hear the "Batter is very low" sound a few minutes later. I checked the screen and noticed that the display read "Charging" no more. Blink - and it's stone dead. I replugged the charger and started the device again. Batter was at 1% and began charging. As soon as it hit 15% of battery life, it stopped charging again, although "Recharging state: Charging" status remained. I switched to USB charger to see if it makes any difference - and it did. It started discharging the battery! Now it's plugged back in the standart charger again and it reads 14% for several minutes now. It looks more like it's "holding it there" than charging.
I tried two different USB cabels, the "wall" charger (English is really not my native language, I don't know the proper word - sorry) and no luck.
Three or four soft resets, pulling out and returning the battery, nothing running in the background - just Phone, Data Connection and Internet Sharing. I'm using unmodified radio and Sleuth 3.0 ROM.
P.S. It looks to me that the battery is discharging much more faster than I was used to. As soon as I pull the charger out, the battery drops two or three percent.
Any ideas? I'm afraid my Kaiser / battery is dead.
EDIT: The battery is warm and I can see the "charging" icon in the kaiser's taskbar

About the charging LED, usually yellow, turned to red? Just to clarify better your situation for all members here.
When the charger is disconnected, it flashes green, when I plug in the charger, it turns orange.
No RED led. That is a very good thing.
Do you don't have any spare battery already or maybe a friend will have one?
Looks like a fault battery - are you using it since when?
I bought this Kaiser about a month ago, but it's not new. The previous owner bought it in November, last year. The battery was healthy until today.
This sounds like a battery issue to me also. These are classic signs of a dying battery. The good news is that the phone is still trying to charge it.
Just as an experiment I took out my battery and put it on a multimeter. At 94% charged (when I took it out) it showed 4.09 volts and 1240mAh. I've had my tilt for 3.5 months now.
Try a hard reset could fix a program gliche if you have one..but it does sound like you have a "croaking battery"
ME TOO--
Was tempted to start a new thread, but figured someone might still read this one.
Last night my Tilt was fine,
and today I noticed that it was incredibly warm/hot to touch. After being plugged in and charging normally for a while, I looked back and noticed that the charging icon was not displaying anymore--just the normal battery icon.
This began last night as well, whenever my battery would hit 100% it would stop displaying the charging icon and return to the battery icon. I would then unplug it and plug it back in and it would go back to normal.
As of right now, it goes back and forth between refusing to show me the charging icon and showing me the charging icon. The light is yellow/orange.
Does this probably mean my battery is dying? Even when the charge icon refuses to show up, when I plug in the charger the backlight switches to the external power profile level of brightness.
It really came out of nowhere. I'm hoping it's some fluke that came out of nowhere, or that some strange registry key that decides it's going to jack up my hardware temperature, drain my battery, and not want to be plugged in anymore got changed.
It's about 2 months old, and I'd be really disappointed if the battery was already croaking.
O wise sages of xda-dev, please enlighten me. The thing charges really slowly now.
The last few weeks something weird has been happening to my kaiser.
As usual, at night before bed I go to plug in my kaiser to charge and i wait to make sure the orange light turns on and i go to sleep... but past few weeks when i wake up the battery has not charged at all.
I have to remove the charger and re insert it again and wait to see if the battery status bar goes up a few percent before i can go to sleep to make sure that its charging.
When it does charge it works fine but sometimes it just doesn't charge at all and when i have a late night im too lazy to wait for it to charge a little while so i can see if it actually is charging.....
anybody else having this problem?
havent installed anything lately (no car chargers or anything either)
sometimes i get the same issue on mind don't have answer
hmmm... been playing around with a bit but cant seem to find what may have happened
Recently my ATT Tilt was working great until I charged it overnight once. Before i charged it i flashed it, maybe thats why it stopped working. I charge it all night and then wake up and still have an orange light not green. Then today i tried to jumpstart my battery and then i woke up the light was green. I was excited but when i turned it on it said low battery then shut off.
idk what it is battery or hardware.
and i think my warranty is out! "/
Can someone plz help me out.
Quality control was out of the building at HTC when they built the Tilt!!! Same problem

Damn Kaiser. Same problem. Will come on when the cable is connected to the laptop or when I connect the charger. Is this the same problem.
im having similar problems, get a multimeter and test the voltage on the battery before and after charging to see if the battery is the culprit.
maybe even try jump starting the battery and seeing if the voltage changes... my battery wont even hold a 1% charge
wow, 4 different people at the same time. I say try running the phone while it is connected to a power source (charger, computer). If it works fine there, I'd say order a new battery if you want to use it still. I just order a new battery for mine for about 15 bucks. Mine is not at the point yours is. My battery is good for about half a day or maybe 2 hours of a phone conversation and its toast. In standby with every thing turned low, it can go for a while but if I use it, it drains fast.
Good luck, and please update us on your status.
I just posted a similar problem I had with a friends Kaiser
My friends Kaiser is no longer charging properly and I have not been able to ascertain the problem.
When plugged in the Orange LED light comes on as normal and the phones says charging under power(settings), however the power levels continue to fall.
I have tried charging with AC charger as well as USB and used two different batteries that I confirmed working in my Kaiser.
the USB socket looks to be in perfect shape and I have cleaned all contacts. I am at a loss just hoping some one can shed some light
The main thought I have (not really helpful though) is that I have my kaiser to test with and both batteries are fine the phone simply wont charge them.
Hello all,
i dont know what happened, yesterday my phone died, batter was to low, tried to charge it at my car/usb, at my laptop/usb... to get it back on, but it died again really quick... hmmm
last night i let it charge fully, and this morning i took it out at about 9am
now its 13:30 and it dropped at 60%, and i only had one call on it for 3mins. The display was on standby in the rest of the time, used the auto setting from power saving menu.
the reason might be the damn green LED light which keeps blinking all the time, i have no message in the notification area, no missed calls/emails or anything.
i even removed from settings-> notification all the flashings for the different actions that where before set
the LED keeps blinking, and i dont know why. I tried also a soft reset (got battery out, and back on after a few seconds)
nothing changed
the 2 problems seam to be related as i observed them together
HELP
This phone has generally been rock solid and I love it. Today the weirdest thing happened. Phone was working great and battery was at 30%. I launched camera to take a picture. I took a picture. Right after the low battery noise came and the popup saying the phone was shutting down due to battery came up. Phone shut down. I powered it back up and it worked fine. Battery continued to go down over time to 14% before I charged it.
Any idea why this happened? Never happened before but its super annoying because I was trying to take some pictures but since it powered off by the time it booted back up and was ready the picture opportunity was gone. I'm wondering if its a problem with the camera app or not. Anybody seen anything similar?
Not sure if it was the cause or not but my turbo did that once and it turned out it was the over heat protection. But the phone made a lot of warning heels really loud prior to the shutdown.
I've seen it loose sync with the actual battery charge, so it thinks it's %30, but really almost dead.
Here's how I've fixed it;
plug into the turbo charger it came with
press and hold power button till phone powers down
keep holding until you see a battery icon, let go,
it will give a quick vibrate, then the battery icon will show the true charge (may be a few seconds)..
press and hold again for a couple seconds and it will reboot, let it charge till %100
Seems like if you charge it off a weird voltage, it looses the calibration. I've seen people talk about wireless chargers do it, and I've personally seen usb3 ports do it to my phone.
good luck!
