My OnePlus 3T(Android Pie) hangs, the screen is stuck for like a few seconds and just reboots. I have tried formatting but the same thing happens. This even happens in recovery mode sometimes. I tried flashing the original firmware(unbricking method) which came with the phone but still it happens. I feel that there is some hardware issue but still I'm not totally sure because in fastboot mode this doesn't happen neither while charging when it's switched off. Do I have any other options?

I have tried to boot into bootloader couple times before on stock settings, with nothing flash or modified.
Whenever I tried to restart, it stuck on the black screen with no LED when plugged in, and it won't turn on or boot for about 10-15 min.
I was trying to solve this issue by wiping the entire phone but still happening. Now that I have tried TWRP with ARHD 12.1, the problem still there.
I have also tried fastboot erase cache, doesn't fix this issue either.
Tried to hold Volumn down / Power button for a long time, it still doesn't do anything until 10-15 mins after.
I assume that the device is still in process and somehow is getting stuck somewhere that it doesn't listen to the input anymore until there is signal shutting the whole thing down.
Since I couldn't pull out battery on HTC One, there is no way I can verified if that is the case.
Anyone else facing the same issue?
I am kind of sick and tired of sending back and forth for RMA, which I already did for dead pixels before.

Thanks for the help
I am under sunlight, thought that could have help, but it didn't....
I guess I will try flashlight next time..
but the problem still not solved, I do not want to get under the light every time when I am trying to make a restart on HTC One..
I found a pattern of this issue, it's seems to related to the USB connecting to a computer.
Somehow it won't let my phone shutdown properly and stuck with no screen showing.
Power button + volume won't work for about 10-15 min.
But it can boot back up after that 10-15 min normally. This is a strange issue.
It happened ever since I tried to access bootloader, but I have not change anything.
Hi guys,
Funny thing happened today, taking the phone out of my pocket and in the process i manage to restart the phone and it has been restarting ever since......
Its a 1068, rooted with radium redefined MM rom. The phone has been great for 2 years and i had no issues until today.
So basically the phone continues to restart back to the unlocked bootloader screen and then restarts again.
Nothing i have down can actually switch it off, all manner of pressing sequences etc and for various lengths of time have no effect. You think okay i have it now....it's off.....but then 3 secs later it turns back on again, vibrates and does it all over again......
I ended up taking the phone apart and disconnecting the batter cable and left it for a while, plugged in the power only and then reconnected the battery hoping this would somehow help........but no.....the eternal boot loop continues.
No way to switch off the phone.
Can't access recovery via the power and volume keys
Can't access recovery via pc with adb
I read somewhere that with a low battery this boot loop thing has happened to others but i couldn't find the thread again and have no idea if there is a fix.
Anyone have some bright ideas ??????
Thanks in advance
Dear
Recently I decided to factory reset a xiaomi mi5. Because it seemed it was hanging, I turned it off and wanted to boot it again. I got the mi logo, but then it only shows the screen where I need to plug in a cable, even when I have one plugged in. It reboots itself after a few minutes and gets stuck on that same screen again and again. I cant' go to recovery, because the same thing will happen.
I tried using fastboot, but I can't seem to erase the data because it is locked, so I'm pretty much out of ideas right now.
Any help is much appreciated.
Kind regards
Hi,
My OnePlus 3T loses Signal on 58-63%% battery and when it does, the phone freezes and reboots to a black screen. Then I have to force reboot it by holding the Power button for several seconds. Then after reboot, the phone continues to lose signal with freeze and reboot after 1 or 2 minutes. But if I put the phone in Airplane mode, the phone works fine (WiFi doesn't affect the issue whether it is on or off in Airplane mode.
PS: Currently running Oreo Stable Oxygen OS. Downgrading won't help as I have already tried it. The same issue persists on Custom ROMs as well.
Any help?
Hello o/
My Redmi note 9 keeps turning off automatically when not charging and when I turn it on it shows the MIUI logo but then screen goes black after 2-3 seconds, the same keeps happening if I hold on to the power button or charge the phone, it'll buzz and show the logo and go black and repeat. I can't access the "Volume UP + Power button" mode but I can access the fastboot mode.
I don't know much about "fastboot" or "flashing" so help me out, a video I watched made me download the stock rom for redmi note 9 (from the official website) but I don't know what to do with it.
When I first had this issue I looked at a fix that involved tapping the phone, pressing it and cooling it in the freezer for 15 mins. I don't know if those methods helped but my phone started at a random attempt, after which I did a factory reset, I didn't get any issue but after a few days the same problem occurred again, I repeated the methods and managed to turn on the phone and did a reset again after which my phone worked for a few weeks but now the same problem has occurred again and I can't get to work. I gave up last night and now in the morning it turned on (had 94% battery) and placed it on charge, but after a while I removed it from charge and it went black in a few minutes.
At first I thought the issue is because of the battery but its always charged when the problem occurs so i'm not sure : /
Also there are two options to download, recovery and fastboot ROM... I downloaded the recovery one but idk if its the correct one
Yeah I have the exact same problem, I haven't found a solution yet. This appears to be happening to a lot of people
I found a solution. It's not a software issue, it's a hardware issue with the fuse on the battery. The solution is to open the phone back and apply some more solder on the fuse. I did it yesterday and it completely solved my problem. Following this video :
