Stuck in TWRP/Fastboot - Redmi K20 Pro / Xiaomi Mi 9T Pro Questions & Answe

After finally unlocking the bootloader (thanks everyone!), I went on to flash TWRP 3.3.1-25 Unofficial by mauronofrio (the TWRP linked in the LineageOS was not sticking, would constantly boot into stock recovery).
In TWRP I flashed LineageOS 17.1 but it would not boot and go straight back to TWRP, I carried out an advanced wipe (as suggested by another thread) and reinstalled only to have it go straight back to fastboot. I have tried formating data then reinstalling LineageOS but the same issue happens.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Moto X (2013) semi-hard bricked

I was running latest LineageOS nightly build with Official TWRP 2.8.7.0 before. Then I decided to try Unofficial TWRP (3.1.0 and then 3.0.2) & some nougat ROMs.
(1)Flashed recovery in fastboot, went OK.
(2)Flashed XPerience ROM & OpenGapps, went OK.
(3)Tried to wipe cache/dalvik, stuck forever.
(4)Manually rebooted, after boot animation i get stuck on a "Encryption Unsuccessful" screen, where i can only hit Reset Phone button which reboots into recovery wipe cache etc and then the whole cycle starts again.
Can someone suggest the easiest method to get my device functional again?
Also somewhere in between my internal storage was shown as 0MB, which I fixed by repairing data partition.
My phone is an XT-1060 Developer Edition.
You may need to re-flash to an older TWRP; I can say I have had similar issues with the unofficial 3.X.X releases, in my case mainly stemming from (according to the logs) something breaking and becoming unable to mount the Cache partition. Re-flashing the same version did not work, and a different 3.X version of TWRP would restore functionality for a bit, but then it would crop up again at some point (I couldn't even flash NAND backups, had to re-flash recovery first). Another issue is that there are only a couple of the unofficial releases available because that OP's hosting site went down (BasketBuild I think?). So I went back to the last official TWRP and MM for now, though if anyone has any recommendations to avoid/fix this, that would help a ton!

Stuck on boot loop after installing official Oxygen OS Pie Community build

I was running a custom ROM (Skydragon) earlier. I simply booted into TWRP, did the basic wipe then flashed the official zip file. Then after booting, its stuck on the boot animation for more than 20 minutes now. Any ideas how to resolve this?
I too faced the same issue. formating the data partition and flashing community beta build booted successfully for me. before you do this, completely back your phone contents to pc
You must flash with TWRP 3.2.3.0 or older!
i had the same issue. formated data had 3.3.0 twrp but still bootloop so i used unbrick tool to put my phone back to stock and then updated to last build though stock recovery and then unlocked bootloader, installed twrp, magisk and done.

30/05 Nightly Not Booting

Yesterday’s Lineage 17.1 nightly 29/05 did not have working telephony. No problem, install todays nightly, non booter! I am in a boot loop to Lineage Recovery with factory reset looking mighty attractive right now! GApps, Magisk & BusyBox...
What are my options?
EDIT:
I followed this guide to flash 17.1 LineageOS & GApps on Lake:
https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/lake/install
I then separately (after first boot) followed step 5 of this guide to flash Magisk:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-6t/how-to/guide-installing-lineage-t4075955
However am I missing a step for the Moto G7 Plus. I thought A/B booting was supposed to avoid this very scenario. In future I will keep a Nandroid backup, which will mean running TWRP insteada Lineage Recovery. Resetting LineageOS then booting into it minus Magisk & GApps I then flashed GApps from SD card but this resulted in all manner of wonkieness. Any help gratefully received.

LineageOS 17.1 comes with a own recovery. Use the installer.zip provided on twrp.me to install TWRP. After that start TWRP and format /data. That's necessary to install the GApps. Otherwise you end in a bootloop.
Now flash GApps and Magisk and boot into system.
You can also temporarily boot into TWRP with "fastboot boot twrp.img" in fastboot. Then do backups etc. and reinstall the system.

LineageOS bootloop to TWRP

Got old S5 KLTE phone, ran 16.1, decided to update.
Flashed lineage-18.1-20210502-nightly-klte-signed.zip and now after long boot up animation it reboots straight into TWRP.
How do i get out of this loop ?
Make a backup, update TWRP, wipe everything, reflash LineageOS zip file and mindthegapps (optionally, if you need google services).
