Hi guys, the thing is that i have a Galaxy S I9000b, with a broken power button, and a bad CWM ROM. I installed CWM recovery through fastboot mode, but i can't access it. Also i have tried removing "--no-reboot" from de command in heimdall, it reboots, but it stucks on the first boot screen (device model and brand). Also i can't boot the device, so i can't install any app to reboot in recovery mode. There is a way to boot recovery mode with a battery trick or through fastboot? Or even flash CWM ROM through fastboot? There is a way so that after installing the kernel it reboots automatically into recovery? Thanks beforehand, hope you can help me. (Sorry for my bad english, i'm from Chile )

You can enter your recovery mode with ADB prompts.
Here is a nice thread about simple solution:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1474956
And here you can find much more about ADB:

Quote me again if you need more help, but try yourself upon the guides, all is very well described there. Also there are plenty of tutorial videos on YouTube about how to use ADB.

Ouch, you're really in uncomfortable situation
I consider as best you can do to try to flash a stock ROM with Odin. I don't know if it will work, as your USB debugging isn't enabled (I must admit that I've never disabled it). I hope it will work!
If it works, it will result in data loss. Your photos and music will probably remain, but SMS, calls, contacts and all else will be lost. If you flash the same ROM you've used before your system crashed, you may be able to restore with Titanium app all the backups you did.
You can inforce your phone to run in the download mode by connecting an USB jig, that can be bought on eBay for ca $2. I hope our forum mate @xsenman will post for you more usable info, he is an angel of helping in such situations and knows specific questions about i9000B better than me. I am more familiar with the i9000

Basically, IF you cannot enter download mode because of power button, you can use other methods, look here in My Android Solutions for recovery / download mode solutions
You cannot use fastboot for Samsung galaxy phones, its all done by Odin3, heimdall or Mobile Odin , so go here and download the required files to flash. or i9000B Roms :- here & here or here for original stock ROM's
If you already had a ROM, and unable to boot you can flash a i9000B kernel to see IF it boots, from above link. For Normal Flash procedure look here
You only follow the procedure with the ROM's meant for i9000B, do not use other ROM's meant for other devices

Returning to stock [fastboot doesn't work, looks like I have odin]
I've bought modded Gear Live with custom ROM. I wan't return to stock Android Wear but it looks like fastboot doesn't work or I don't know how to do this. If I choose fastboot during boot I can enter Odin download mode. It looks like somebody flashed ROM from Android device to this watch.
My watch is visible under adb but when i put it in download mode fastboot doesn't recognize my device. What's the procedure of returning from Odin to stock Android Wear?

Youre talking about three different tools here. Either you have fastboot or odin mode. What OS are you using? What modes do you have available? What do you see on your screen?
When I swipe the screen diagonal when holding the power button I see:
Select REBOOT MODE:
Continue, Download, Upload, Recovery, PowerOff, Fastboot
No matter if I choose download or fastbook it enters in ODIN MODE like on a phone with Android OS. The model is SM-R382.
Any chance to restore to stock Android Wear? As I mentioned 'fastboot devices' shows nothing when the device is in download mode.
lsusb returns:
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 04e8:685d Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd GT-I9100 Phone [Galaxy S II] (Download mode)
Any chance flashing this to stock Android Wear?

Any chance flashing this to stock Android Wear?
Flashed this to fix a number of screwups. Now I'm trying to do delta OTA updates to get to 5.0.1.
This system.img installed KMV78X, so I tried to flash sprat-KGW42N-from-KMV78X first.
The sha1sum for "/system/lib/libstagefright.so" seems to be wrong. The update script expects 85998faea63db14c87c02c128d7e4fe39da0202f, on this image it is 624e6eb8000d6c1c0ff53998fb54d1e008deb41e.
EDIT: sprat-KMV78Y-from-KMV78X seems to expect 85998faea63db14c87c02c128d7e4fe39da0202f as well.
EDIT2: I'm not sure how this is supposed to work. Every time I "fastboot flash system system.img", I get a different hash for libstagefright.so (other files stay the same). I removed the patching for that file from the OTA updates and I was able to get to LWX48P, but now I need the updated libstagefright.so. Ostensibly, this version has SHA1 hash 9279477d8f47f6e042ab1e88a82d79cd7ac5ed20 (according to sprat-LWX48P-from-KNX01Q.fc0bcfbe.zip)
EDIT3: Solved. Installed stock KMV78Y from http://forum.xda-developers.com/gear-live/development/rom-octamodwear-stock-root-busybox-t2834620, then did OTA delta updates to get to 5.0.1.
Bricked Gear Live
Hi All,
I am making a huge education effort to learn the way of developing in my mid 30's. I recently bought a refurbished Gear Live "the Best Buy mess". I was able to reflash the stock onto the watch but it would not update it's firmware; so easy enough I thought I would push the latest version which leads me to the current state of the watch which is "could not do normal boot" I can teach the fastboot screen but cannot authorize the ADB now that I cannot approve the change or even change it through the developer tools. I downloaded Odin but I am not able to connect to the watch to push the flash. Has anyone run into this? I have downloaded the Gear Live reset tool but without ADB authorized it won't allow access. Can anyone help an up and tech savvy learner find his way to bringing it back? I use the watch to monitor my sons Blood Sugar since he's a type 1 diabetic.
Help?
Update, I was able to fastboot the original img files and I'm back to where I started. Now to get it up to 5.0.1

kindly help how you did it ?
Hello everybody,
I'm french : So I am sorry for my poor English but I can not find help on french FORUM.
I have a LG Watch R and I have successfull updated my Watch for Wifi and add the recovery custom TWRP 2.8.6.1 + Root.
One day, I had a message to do an official update of my Watch. I did it but I have seen no change (no update of the revision number, etc).
On a French FORUM, they explain to me : I have to hand the "RECOVERY STOCK".
I did it but after this manipulation, the Watch can't boot and stay only on the fastboot menu. I tried all the type of boot : recovery, fastboot, etc.
The Watch doesn't want to start and Load Android wear software.
Can you help me to solve this issue?
Hello,
I fixed my issue by following this topic :

Thant you for this tuto!
Please help, I need proffessional help.
Android Phone: ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser 5.0 (ROOTED)
Android Firmware: 5.0.2 Lollipop
Aim: To enter into Fastboot mode and Recovery Mode without problems
Situation: Recently installed TWRP Recovery in-app and through software, but when I try to enter in Fastboot Mode (HOLD POWER & VOLUMEUP) or even Recovery Mode (HOLD POWER & VOLUMEDOWN), I just end up in a hanged out ASUS Logo. I can't do anything except pulling out the battery myself and putting it back then booting the device through power button to boot it normally. I don't know if it's the problem with the model, or the phone's system itself, or it's just a bug, or a problem when I rooted my device through ADB.
(Note: When I rooted the device, I wasn't even able to see the blue "FASTBOOT MODE" when I tried it, I only saw the ASUS logo as well.)
For anyone who has any idea on what's going on with my device, please reply and help me. I really want to have the benefits of a rooted phone completly and I'm a new root user so I need assistance.
Moderator Information,
Thread closed, as you have a thread here: ZE500KL Can't access fastboot or recovery mode PLEASE HELP, URGENT
Hello, I make this post to tell what happened to me and not happen to anyone else, it turns out that I wanted to install a GSI room and instead of accessing it from the fastboot I decided to do it through the recovery of orenage fox, flash the image in the super partition (systen, vendor .... ) after that, not only did not turn on my phone but I got the following error in the recovery "unable to update logical partition /system root" and the same with the vendor ..., I switched to twrp and the same, finally I entered fastboot to try to flash the stock room and failure and now my phone does not enter fastboot or recovery, and when you turn it on it turns off immediately.
Will this problem be solved in the technical center?
Thanks in advance.
