Hello,
I've an old headphone pair that doesn't work anymore with my Huawei Mate 20 Lite.
If I try to plug in other headphones, all works properly; if I plug the non-working headphone pair on a different device (e.g. my PC), it works properly.
What should I do?
Thank you. NC

Sup guys!
I've recently bought recently SteelSeries Flux Headset with two sets of cords - one for PC (mic/headphones split) and one for mobiles (4-pole jack). When connected via PC cord (only headphones) phone recognize the headphones and it's cool and all. But when that 4-pole son of a jack is plugged the magic happens. Except there's no magic. It doesn't work on my x8, on other, newer xperia and it works poorly with nokia x2, while it works (at least headphones) with psp, goclever tablet (4.1 android) and PC. Does this phone have a 4-pole female jack in it? Or is it some headset malfunction?
Anyone? Anything?
First, I tried this site from eBay:
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=221271993040
Didn't work. Didn't even detect it as headphones, let alone mic.
Then I tried this one, which is "trrs," because several HTC phones work with it according to reviews:
Headset Buddy01-PC35-PH35) PC Headset to 3.5mm Smartphone Adapter
Same exact results as the two-dollar wire.
Nothing has worked!
Is so irritating that is so hard to use an external mic with a high-end phone like this.
Can anyone help?!:crying:
Hi,
I bought tab s2 2 weeks ago.im mostly glad, but when i plug the aux cable to device sound doesnt transfer. Tablet still play music from own speaker, does not react to cable.
And i tried it on my car and my digital drum. When i plug my phone with same cable, it works perfectly.
Is there someone has the same problem, or any solution?
Is it hardware problem or just does not support aux ?
Thanks

Try Sound about on Google play
Not working too :/
My purpose of buying this, use this property. Now too bad :/
In the past I used the app toggleheadset2 from playstore to tackle such problem.
My p20 pro is three days old. And I'm plagued by problems with Huawei adapter issues.
I plug my normal headset that's been working amazingly for three years into the jack, then into my phone. And it either doesn't register as plugged in, or it spazzes out and changes my music on its own or it makes audio quality abysmally poor. I'm talking worse than dialup poor. Only thing that works fine now is the included headphones and charger.. anyone else have something similar? My carrier said cause it's so damn new I gotta take it back to p.o.s

Have you tried another pair of headsets? I have a pair of JVC,a pair of HyperX Cloud(big headsets) and a Sony pair, they all work very well, very good quality,no connection problems. Might be your adapter,or even your headsets, even if they normally work in a 3.5mm jack. Try another pair of headsets, borrow from someone for a day. Cheers!
Hi
I've got a P20 pro, and a pair of the freebuds. All was well, but now there is no sound coming from my right earbud. However, I have tried the earbuds with another phone and they're fine, and I've tried other bluetooth headphones with my phone, and again, no sound on the right, which leads me to the conclusion that it's an issue with the phone.
I've cleared the bluetooth cache, but that's not helped.
Any suggestions please?
The fact that it happens on bluetooth and through wired headphones means this must be a software issue. Try a factory reset.
I've not got any wired headphones. Just bluetooth.
If I try and plug anything other than a charger into the charging/headphone port I end up with another problem! So I only use wireless.

Have you forgetting the headphones bluetooth connection and repairing?
Tried unpairing/forgetting etc.
Earbuds work perfectly well on other phones. Other wireless earphones which work perfectly have the same issue on mine. I've tried 4 other phones and 4 other wireless earphones (pixel, samsung, and 2 iphones)
I really don't want to reset the phone. It looks like something I'll have to put up with for another few months until my contract is up.
