Swap 1st and 3rd button in navbar @ Android10 - Xiaomi Mi A2 / 6X Questions & Answers

Hello!
Just updated stock ROM to Android 10 with January 2020 security patches (V11.0.5.0.QDIMIXM).
My navigation bar settings was lost (I used navbar with swapped 1st and 3rd navbar buttons, 'Back' button was at right)
Instead of this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I used this order:
I tried to tune navbar again
Code:
adb shell
settings put secure sysui_nav_bar "space[1.20],recent;home;back,contextual[0.60]"
Nothing changes at all even after reboot.
So, does anybody knows how to change buttons order in navbar?

Tried several of them. They are all sh*t and don't deserve to be used.

Well, then if you are rooted and willing to work it out - check the fix/hack by @Tulsadiver. The zip did not work for me but I renamed the required files, rebooted and it worked. Be warned that this might break OTA due to system level changes.

Recommended Shortcuts in XXLSA

I recently flashed the leaked XXLSA ROM to my Note and everything's great
Although there's an icon that I can't seem to figure out what it is... It's when I plug in my headphones to the device and a page buddy appears along with a row of Recommended Shortcuts (earphones) in the notification menu. I tried pressing the icon but it doesnt seem to do anything. Does anyone know what this icon does?

I tried it now..nothing happens except the notification bar goes off & you will be on homescreen..from the icon, it looks like something to do with S Pen..so may b its a shortcut to S-Note or something, which won't work..I may be wrong

Yeah I tried it too, it doesn't even bring me to the home screen. After I press it, the notification menu just closes off.
I went to a local electronics store yesterday and played with the Note II. That button brings up Quick Command, which is not yet integrated into XXLSA.

Question/Guide on how to modify the navbar "distance" between buttons

hi guys,
hopefully any of you visiting this thread will be able to understand what i meant. .
1. when I am on stock rom or at least on DU rom (CM12.1)
- whenever i set a custom DPI, the navbar buttons are sort of closer together.
2. but when i am on other CM12.1 based roms, when i configure a custom DPI, the buttons are very far apart.
is there any way to get those buttons to be closer together despite what roms i use?
do i have to mod anything in system/vendor/<overlay> if any?
here is a screenshot.
as you can see the navbat buttons are more closer to each other
(taken from DU's google plus page for yuga devices)

Did you try the "Xperia/AOSP NavBar Buttons" XPosed module? I used it to modify my buttons on the stock T-Mobile ROM.

hi
does it bring the buttons closer together on a custom DPI?
assuming its 320DPI.
because on DU rom or stock rom, the buttons will stick closer to each other when its on a custom DPI .
rather than it going far apart.
just wondering if it has anything to do with the /overlay/ folder.

It allows you to adjust the button spacing. I've only tried it on stock ROM with stock DPI.

Problems with Dec Update.

After installing the December update, at many places the font has become weird. Shadow and outline has been added to font at several places. It looks out of place. For example, the header for each card in the settings menu, the battery percentage, the time etc. I have attached screenshots. I tried restarting my phone several times doesn't help. Anyone else facing this issue?? Please help if anyone has a solution.
EDIT: Actually this change in font has happened everywhere, but is only visible on dark backgrounds or bigger font sizes.

No problems here. Even your screen shot looks normal font on my TA-1055 (UK). I only received Pie OTA and Dec patch yesterday but no anamolies so far.

Look at the Battery Percentage (Top Right), Time (Top Left) and System (Header Font). It's not normal.

Black Navigation Bar

Is there a way to always have the navigation bar black on the S10? Night Mode helps but there's still quite a few apps where the bar is white.
Samsung's Good Lock has a part to it called NavStar which lets you customize the nav bar, but it's mainly for changing the icons. You can change the background colour but there's only a few selections and they are all a bright colours and probabbly not what you are looking for.

I tried adb command for black navigation bar. Don't really work all the time. Some apps still have white color.
I tried system tuner and indicated black navigation bar. Same results as above.
Anyone?

I changed the navigation bar to black, but the icon does not change to white lol.
Samtweak2 on Google play can change the nav black. You need to give adb access..
Works as advertised no issues and survives a reboot..

Question Notification Bar / clock disapearing

I have two problems with the notification bar on my Edge 20 with Android 12 Stock ROM, which are extremely annoying!
The bar is hidden on the home screen. It only shows up when I'm in an app. When I wake up the phone, I don't even see if I've got any messages:

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Iif I pull down the bar, the clock disappears. Extremely tedious, for example, if you write to someone via the bar on WhatApp and then don't know what time it is and have to close the bar again:
Is there a way to fix this?

I believe that certain 3rd party launchers have the option to hide the statusbar clock if there is a clock widget already placed on the home screen.
I use Nova Launcher, but haven't found any coresponding settings.
