Thank you so much for the new ROM.
I made a TWRP backup of my phone and flashed it on top of LOS17.1 *dirty*. (I know I should have flashed it clean but ...) Surprisingly most works as it should 'til now...
The "network traffic indicator" is not working for me. Is that a result of dirty flashing? Does it work for you?
Thanks for yoir fantastic work. Almost everything is working،its fast and battery friendly and I'm so happy with this Rom.
Only some small issues...
1. Can't activate developer option in settings.
2. Like all android 10 custom Roms headphone jack doesn't work.
3. Not all of them but some animations start to lag like hell when you go high DPI (make display size smaller in settings). I can take a video if needed.
4. Rom kills my launcher (hyperion) time to time. And yes I made it default launcher also tried not optimize option in battery and no luck...

No problem here switching off developers options and re-enabling it via knocking at heavens door (aka "Build Number") and entering my key.
When the battery goes to 15% and you are in an application, once you click the turn on battery saver option the application resets.

Open settings>about phone>then scroll down and tap build number, don't open Android version. There's another build number there which is not working. Hope it helps.
Installed this rom (2020-01-24) with opengapps (2020-01-27) nano package. Used for 1 day and found some bugs:
System animations are getting lagy (really annoying)
Headphone jack is not detecting connection (everyone knows)
File manager is not refreshing after doing some task (for example I deleted 1 file but it is showing that file. Opening that folder again or relaunching file manager solves it. Also same with rename. It is showing old name)
Network indicators are shown before alarm icon (they should be after everything i think? It is sliding alarm icon again and again)
Selinux is disabled (Everyone knows)
Using this rom as daily driver. Just animations are making it bad apart from that it is smooth, customisable and greatest Android 10 ROM out there.
So far only Bluetooth stopping
Perfect ROM but cannot wait until headphone 5mm jack works.

What is AOKP?
AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project. It is a custom ROM distribution for several high-end Android devices. The name is a play on the word kang and AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The name was sort of a joke, but it just stuck, just like our infatuation with unicorns.
We fork the source code of Android that Google puts out in the open with every major version release, and we then add the magical unicorn bytes (read: we add some of the coolest features that are both useful and make your ROM awesome).
With AOKP, you can generally do a lot more with your device than what you could do with the original firmware that came installed on it.

Installation:
1. Be sure to have TWRP 3.1.1-0 installed on your device!
Update: TWRP 3.0.2-0 tested and works!
2. Copy PlayStoreFix , ROM, and Gapps to your sd card
3. Boot in TWRP by holding Vol Up+ Vol Down at the same time when device turned on
4. Do a normal or advanced wipe in TWRP, as you wish.
5. Click install and select first ROM, then Update and Gapps
6. Swipe to install an wait!
7. After installation, reboot, set it up, then go back to TWRP and install PlayStoreFix.zip

NNNOPE. This is the first custom rom, I think where 720 60* works on youtube with no problem. The only bug is that lock screen bug, and just that double-tap to wake doesn't work. That is it.

What you mean by "text screen blocking the rom"? CPU has not been tested, because I'm going back to emui because I need a daily driver, and this rom is still not. I'm working on that fix, but I don't know where to start, because on all roms that I developed for other device I didn't occured this issue. I saw @haky 86 had this issue/or close on one of his roms.
Battery consumption is great, just drained 5% in 40 minutes of just being into home screen and middle brightness, because if I lock the screen "bye bye".
@XTutorials i think the bug with deep sleep may be same as in AICP so i think you can try flash fix from AICP thread.

I was tried Alarmy from Play Store, and the situation same, phone reboot.
No, I think it is not faster. It is same...
Videorecording of own Camera does not work. A better cam, and HD Camera also does not work.
I never play game on my phone, sorry, I do not know.
This rom is fast and fluid.. Better than miui 9 I tested on redmi note 4... Plz try to translate everything in English... This rom can become a daily driver... I think.. As i dont use alarm

"Trust" doesn't seem to be working as I'm used to.
More specifically I was looking for the Trust icon (Privacy Guard) in the status bar that allows per-app-modifying the permissions of the running app. Does it have to be activated?

-the letters in menu are sometimes "blurred" (screenshot)
- The unrolled bar shows the battery icon and its percentage (fig1). Only the battery icon is visible in the normal status bar (fig2). There is no way to set a different configuration (no other selection works).
- Styles & Wallpapers can set the custom style but it can not be named and checked, it is always Custom 1 and unmarked (fig3).
- 30% of the apps I'm using not available for this version

I have a similiar experience like you. When imported from my Nougat phone nearly all of them work with no limitation so far. But for some of them I will wait until they are in the Playstore. It's not my daily driver yet - but a promising candidate - reverse Tethering

Black wallpaper helped me. Worth a try.
EDIT: Black Wallpaper doesn't prevent blurredness. Just makes it harder to spot.

Display doesn't look as sharp and rich in contrast as on my DualCore-S4Mini.Duos(GT-i9192)@LOS14 which was produced about a year earlier.
Probably hardware related. But who knows. Right now I'm a litttle bit reluctant to go back to stock just to check. Maybe you can help me out with your display experiences? And are there any (hidden) display values somewhere that I could manipulate?

No issue for me, but important to know, thanks. I'm happy I have a fast (2x PwBttn) and fully fledged shooter. Turned ISO to 800 and increased contrast/sharpness/saturation levels. Seems to keep the values permanently which I like.

You're right, I flashed the wrong TWRP! Actually I didn't know that even a DuoSim-QuadCore-Edition existed, until now. Probably even more rare than the GT-i9195i we have. But I should have noticed the "3g" - silly me.
That finally explains my initial problems with flashing. I had to delete the first two lines in the /META-INF/com/google/android/update-binary to make it run through.
Thanks for solving that mystery :highfive: . Puhh, I guess I was lucky I didn't brick the phone.

Normal camera only (not Gcam). I prefer you use OpenGAps nano version since I'm using that now....

1. The hardware buttons back light are not turned on.
2. Sometimes I have to flick all the way up to unlock the screen. I understand that's how it is in vanilla AOSP, but it would be nice to have it fixed like in LOS.

For the first issue it's the problem with the ROM source I have told them about it hopefully will get a fix. The second issue I been issue I have been experiencing it with other ROMs though...I think it's normal...

I managed to solve mine...It seems like your APN (Access Point Name) is empty you have to add that manually
it can be because while building you haven't selected common_full_phone.mk
(in your device tree .mk file)
the one it calls from vendor i.e
$(call inherit-product, vendor/carbon/config/common_full_phone.mk)
(might you have selected small package that resulted this ) that config is for tablets or mini phones who don't have sim card support

Well Carbon ROM does not have common_full_phone.mk in their vendor sadly. I will try to add that manually. Thanks for the tips!

I'm still finding a solution for button backlight but the lock screen bug doesn't appear in my device though

It's not really a bug, it's actually a feature that backfired. Basically in other ROMs I just have to swipe up very gently for the screen to unlock, but for this one, I have to swipe all the way up (otherwise it just bounces back to the bottom of the screen).

USING THIS ROM FOR A WHILE, This is the best i have found in a while. My Device(Redmi 9I (4/64GB)) is pretty lowend so didnt' expected much but BOOT times are shorter, VOLTE is working(sometimes get buggy with Jio) and lot's of customizability with low ram usage. A little bit, of customization have been done to the device as i don't like the stock android feel i have used whatsapp and instagram, instagram is a little sluggish on the device, which wasn't an issue on the stock MIUI rom but, it's only occurs at once or twice while scroling reels section so not a big deal. The rom is now matured enough to be used as an daily driver for this low-end device especially the 2GB variant. Though am a little curious if anyone is using this devices as their daily driver.
Some things you should do first and foremost in this rom:
Use firefox focus instead of the included browser.
Use GOOGLE Files over the included file explorer with this rom.
Never put brigtness to the absolute minimum as the screen start flickering like crazy with autobrightness on.
TURN OFF automated video playback in youtube home page.
Anyways, here are some screenshots:
Problems encountered: Volts do not work; "Double click screen to close" cannot be closed; Power menu without key action in navigation bar setting; Two black screens appear when using the built-in browser. I don't know if Nusantara's new version 11 is easy to use?

did, you tried calling to other number?. also, what do you mean by "double click to close"? do you mean, double click to close screen or app?
Hey, could you, please, explain me how did you have a custom recovery on this device? I've tried so many times, but it keeps getting back to the stock recovery, and still couldn't find a proper explanation about this problem.
