Hello guys, I'm having a problem with my MOTO G7 PLUS which it doesn't start at all.
Bootloader is LOCKED yet I tried installed a rom on it since I saw videos of people with locked devices doing the same.
And now it gives me this problem:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",

"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
There is any way possible to solve this? Or unlock the bootloader so I can try again?
"developer options" for unlocking bootloader are not on so nothing that I tried so far worked.
YES I TRIED THIS: https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g7/how-to/guide-unlock-g7-bootloader-t3906858/amp/
Cmd informs me to check the "developer options"... which I cant.
I also tried Motorola device manager and it won't 'find the device'.
NEW INFO: Fastboot informs that "baseband: <not found>"
Pls help this phone doesn't had one year old and we only tried install a rom because it wasn't starting in the first place.
Stop booting after a update tho.

You cannot unlock the bootloader without turning on OEM unlock in Dev options
You should be able to flash stock rom

YES I did flash stock rom.That was the first thing that I tried when the phone stoped booting and after that this warning appeared.
I tried this process 3 times to check if the stock rom was corrupted or was a old version yet nothing solved.

I see in the process the same things "failed something" or "oem is not unlock" -_-

To find out which firmware version is the correct one for your device you have to reboot to fastboot mode. On this screen you will get all information you need. In case you need more information about your phone just connect it to your PC and run this command in fastboot mode:
Code:
fastboot getvar all
It's recommended to flash a stock fw on a locked bootloader with mfastboot tool instead of the normal fastboot tool. Mfastboot is a special fastboot tool by Motorola to flash firmware via fastboot.

Here's a stock rooted 4.4.2/KOT49H ROM. Includes root, busybox, init.d support and I made the kernel insecure, so adb remount, etc work. For those that want a deodexed system, just flash the zip below and yes, the ROM will still be ART compatible.

OK.. so the ROM is odexed, you can get the rom itself my clicking the red text in the OP.. then there is an attached script that you can also flash if you prefer deodexed. All it does is go through a few directories and delete *.odex
Don't worry, it took me a little bit to work out what was going on too

Yeah is just a script that remove all the odex files and makes from the odex rom a deodex rom. You also can flash the rom and wipe all the files that ending with .odex

Make sure you follow the steps and allow it to completely finish . After i updated to 4.4.4 i had problems the first time because it had not finished and it was saying that it had root when in fact it did not so i rerooted it again and had not problem since !
Very easy to use (it uses Towellroot) so it is like 2 clicks and one keystroke :good:

Q&A for [ROM][MB886][5.1.1][CM12.1] Official CyanogenMod 12.1
Some developers prefer that questions remain separate from their main development thread to help keep things organized. Placing your question within this thread will increase its chances of being answered by a member of the community or by the developer.
Before posting, please use the forum search and read through the discussion thread for [ROM][MB886][5.1.1][CM12.1] Official CyanogenMod 12.1. If you can't find an answer, post it here, being sure to give as much information as possible (firmware version, steps to reproduce, logcat if available) so that you can get help.
Thanks for understanding and for helping to keep XDA neat and tidy!
CM12.1 build : 20150514 and 20150515 : stuck on language selection after 1st boot.
As the Title of my post indicates, my Atrix HD gets stuck on the language selection after me installing CM 12.1 build 20150514 and 20150515. However i installed 20150512 using the same method (flashing the CM zip after formatting/wiping system, cache, data and dalvik cache) and that worked just fine. The ROM with build date 20150512 is working fine and is very fast but sometimes the phone freezes while browsing via chrome and gets restarted after around 10 seconds. I don't know how to capture the logs and share it with you guys as i am not able to boot properly.
I am using CWM 6.0.4.4 custom recovery to flash these Roms and using these google apps : BaNkS-dynamic-gapps-L-5-9-15
Can anyone please tell me what should i do to successfully install the newer CM12.1 nightlies (beyond 20150512) ?

Hi, thanks for replying.
I changed my recovery and installed philz advanced cwm recovery. Tried 16/5 build of official cm 12.1 with above mentioned gapps and it worked this time. This build seems to be more stable as I did not experienced a single reboot or fc in my 1 day usage ...ui is fluid and smooth.
CM 12 for JBBL?

D'oh. I have both an Atrix HD and Droid Razr HD. I was trying to install on the Razr when I was getting these errors. Unified.. .de-unified... confusing I have successfully installed CM12 for both devices now (although it's lagging and not very responsive on the Razr). Thanks for your help.
Silly man..lol. Yw

Cm updater not working. Having to flash updates via recovery. Also when flashing updates, I have to reinstall xposed and better battery stats..seems that some system apps need to be reinstalled and/or flashed again.

Apologies if this has been asked already. Is there a way to revert to ANY build (custom or stock) of Lollipop after having flashed a Marshmallow build on a Nexus 6? I'd appreciate a link to the thread is this has been discussed elsewhere.
TIA
Just download and flash via fastboot the stock google images: https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images
Not necessary to flash the factory images. If you've got twrp just download a custom 5.1.1 ROM and gapps, flash in recovery after wiping everything but internal storage. Your radio an bootloader are backwards compatible. I bounced back twice. No problems. On 511 now.

If you retain the Marshmallow radio as blueyes suggests, though, you will probably still have no T-Mobile band12 LTE support, if you live in an area where that is important for you.

Shouldn't you also revert the bootloader and radio..? I feel like this would make things act... "strange".

Actually get a better signal with 27R. Base your radio choice on which one gives you the best signal not what build it came from.

Base radio selection on signal. If your on tmo the use whatever radio gives you the best reception and desired bands.

Here's the theme if you want it, using Origami cm theme for status and nav bar. Paid app, I'd give it to you if I wouldn't get axed by xda. Lol
