Hello everybody!
I have some problems regarding the Moto G5s Plus xt1802 Brazilian version.
A while ago I used a havoc OS rom, and when trying to update, I had some complications because the rom didn't work very well, so I tried to go back to stock rom and block the bootloader again, only once again I had a problem and it was with the usb cable, in the middle of the process the cell phone was disconnected and with that, it didn’t block and I had a problem with it, because now I can’t block the bootloader or even unlock it because of that. And in the developer settings, the bootloader option is disabled, but in gray, I can't move it, and when I put the phone in bootloader mode, the cmd on the screen says that the bootloader is already unlocked.
Nor can I install any kind of customized rom, in any of them the same error.
If anyone can help me with this problem I will be very grateful.

Hello. I have really bad situation about my friend's phone. I was about to install Cyanogenmod on it (i have experience about it, i installed CM on my Nexus 5 without any problems). First i tried to unlock bootloader. I tried different ways including the official one but none of them helped. When i turn the phone on and call to 3845#*880#, it says that bootloader is unlocked. But i still can't flash recovery to TWRP (it says that bootloader is locked). Then my friend asked me to get root at least, because when we tried to unlock bootloader we used a chinese program which installed ad malware into firmware and he can't delete this. I read about installing root without unlocking bootloader, using stock recovery. But when i try to load into recovery mode, smartphone is loading into Android. I guess i've deleted stock recovery accidently. Is there any way to root/flash CM/completely reset (btw this one doesn't work correctly, because that ad malware is still there)? Help me, please. Thanks in advance.
Hello there people of XDA, I am in need of some help.
I while back I thought it would be cool to put CM12 or 13 on my Moto G XT1072, everything seemed to work fine and dandy, my Moto G was lovely.
The problem came around when trying to revert back to the stock OS. I am quite knowledgeable when flashing ROMS and OS's as have been doing on many Samsung Devices and a few Motorola as well.
What I was aiming to do was make my device completely stock, with stock recovery, OS, and locked boot-loader.
What I ended up doing was locking the boot-loader before flashing the stock OS, thus meaning I was not able to flash anything due to the fact that the boot-loader was locked.
So I can't flash anything now because the boot-loader is locked, and I have no way of unchecking the setting in 'Developer Options'.
I hope there is a way to fix this?
Thanks!
Hello, I have a problem with my bike e4 plus, a few months ago unlock the bootloader and proceeded to install twrp and root, install a custom rom and it worked well for a while, it turns out that a few days ago I wanted the stock again so I proceeded to download it and install it with flash tool and install it perfectly, but now that I want to unblock the bootloader I get an error, I do not know what I'm doing wrong, I would appreciate your help thanks.
You're bootloader is still unlocked, that's why. It's perfectly fine.
I'm trying to go back to stock and lock bootloader but when I do I keep getting a screen on bootup that says "Your device has loaded a different OS" (when bootloader is unlocked this screen says it can't verify the operating system because it's unlocked, that's normal).
I bought my X4 from B&H Photo in January. It has the Android One logo on the back of the phone.
I've tried flashing the Retail rom and also the Fi rom, and after I lock, it still says that message.
These are the ones i've tried.
XT1900-1_PAYTON_FI_9.0_PPW29.69-26_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip
PAYTON_RETAIL_9.0_PPW29.69-39-2_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip
PAYTON_RETAIL_9.0_PPW29.69-26_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip
I'm pretty sure when I bought my phone it had 8.1, I'm going to try the Fi 8.1 image now. XT1900-1_PAYTON_FI_8.1.0_OPWS28.46-21-14_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip
Anyone have any other suggestions?
Once you unlock the bootloader, there is no going back. You can relock the bootloader but the warning will remain.
What he said, it's stated in the FAQs thread as well.
Any updates, OP?

Sounds like it's not possible. Also I sold the phone last week.
I don't mind the message as long as everything works specifically updates. Does anyone know if updates still work when you relock the bootloader?

i followed this guide and i used this Firmware for my MOTO G5S Plus, i want the latest Oreo back on it.
I unlocked my bootloader and flashed the latest firmware now from the site called "SANDERS_RETAIL_8.1.0_OPS28.65-36-14_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_regulatory-DEFAULT_CFC.xml" and i flashed a new logo. It's on the Motorola screen and says bad key on the side now.
thankfully, i can still access fastboot menu and also i can access recovery. What do i do? it's stuck on the "Your device has been unlocked and can't be trusted" screen? It says your device will boot in 5 seconds but it's been 2 minutes so far and nothing's happened
what do i do?
My Motorola G5S Plus Model number is XT1803 and it's from Europe.
EDIT : FIXED FIXED! use Lenovo Moto Smart Assistant, more info in my reply.
Nevermind guys! i fixed it! just use the Lenovo Moto Smart Assistant, Select Moto G Plus 5th Gen S in the Moto Phone section of the Flash Section of the program, let it download the firmware and hit restore, it will work 100%. My phone is working as normal again
gonna keep it unlocked bootloader, i cba to relock anymore.
