I have galaxy S10 SM-G973U. I have seen bunch of videos of where people were able to watch youtube via Google Auto. I followed all the steps and I can't get it to load on the car screen. Am I missing something? Anybody knows what to do?

I have recently been unable to get any app to display on my TV. Most of the time I get audio but that's about it. I've tried hulu, YouTube, Google movies, and Google music with no luck. The home screen works fine though which is strange. Is there anyone who has had a similar issue?

I think you need to describe exactly what you are trying to use(Chrome on PC, Android , etc.) and what other apps alone or in combination. After that, I'm sure someone can help you.
Please also tell us the manufacturer and model of your wireless router.
OK, need your help here, comrades. Got my hands on S6\S6 Edge version of Gear VR. But I have problems with screen mirroring. Tried:
-Pairing with Chromecast. When I use the phone only - everything works perfectly, but just as i'm plugging S6 into the helmet (or glasses, not sure how you peeps call it over here), everything works for 5 seconds, and then picture freezes (on the TV)
-Pairing with TV using WiFi Direct - doesn't seem to work at all
-Connecting via MHL (which Samsung dudes claim to be working, but it ain't)
-Sacrificing chicken, dancing around the TV, screaming "CTULHU FHTAGN!" for an entire hour (doesn't seem to work either)
An interesting symptome - phone was downloading bunch of updates, while it was - everything worked slow (I mean mirroring), with lags, but it was working. Just when everything updated... (see "pairing with Chromecast").
Any advice?
I have the same issues with my chromecast, when i had the note 4 with the gear vr it worked perfect, now i have the s6 edge with new vr headset and picture is delayed and freezes and if you play a movie on oculus cinema it just shows a blank screen on tv. This sucks because i want my five year old daughter to play and i cant direct her on what to press to watch or play games

Managed that bastard. Used mirrorop sender for Galaxy and mirrorop reciever for my laptop. Resolution is crappy - but at least it doesn't lag. PWNED!
Hello. I have a problem. I have an S7, Oneplus 3t with carteam enabled (the car is skoda Octavia 3 with bolero mib 2). The problem is that the image on youtube is lagging and on video player as well. What I am doing wrong? On an J3 2016 with 720p screen all works much better but not perfect. On my iphone se with carplay and carbrige all works like butter the best, but with carplay I can't use 2 phones at once but with android auto we can. My primiry phone is an OnePlus 7 Pro and I don't want to switch to iphone. Please help me.
P.S. I think is a codec problem I don't know.

I find out that on my j3 2016 all works ok , but with my s7 does not. the 2 phones has lineageos 14.1 , latest andoid auto and carstream 2.0.2 fork. what to do to work ok on my s7 phone?
I have the same problem with lagging Videos from Youtube and online streaming portals, by using carstream. I tried different things like clear cache from certain apps, all apps, enable/disable USB debugging, tried out different mediasystem with android auto (Opel, VW) -> nothing really helped. Sometimes it is better, sometimes its horrible. Unfortunately i have no possibility to try out another phone. So i dont know if it is a specific problem only on the Samsung S7 or it is a problem in general. I´m using stock android 8 on a samsung S7 Edge.

The same situation in my case. Galaxy S7 and skoda suberb with Columbus radio. Additionaly carstream often didnt remember passwords to online web pages ex. Horizon go. Car stream keyboard doesnt have "@" button so is very difficult when login is a mail adress.
Could somebody fix IT?

I thought this would mean that I could also use the "veiw tv on phone" feture in smart things but the problem is that the phone and tv connect but on the phone there is no picture or sound?
Is there a way to fix this?

As the title says, I only seem to have connectivity issues with my Galaxy Tab S8 when I'm using the youtube app. It will frequently claim connected without internet. Also that was with using an Arris G34 Gateway (modem/router in 1).
I can play Dragon Quest Tact for 3-4 hours straight or facebook or any other game really without it doing this. It seems that the second I switch to the youtube app is when it decides to do this, just got this thing about 4 days ago. My tab s6 lite, S20FE, roku streambar, xbox, alexa & lg tv do not suffer from a similar issue as this one... Is there an easy fix for this or did I just get a bad tablet?
I don't have the exact same issue, but did have for a couple of days the issue with youtube not wanting to load videos. When it eventually does, the quality is at the lowest format...changing the quality results in video not playing. I uninstalled the app, restarted the tablet, re-installed youtube and no issues so far
