Hello!
I’ve got very disappointing thing, I was using Magisk root for my Galaxy S10+. All was okay, then I came into my vacation, today I was dealing with YouTube and YouTube Vanced, trying to let YouTube vanced open from chrome youtube links, I did force stopped YouTube and disabled it.
Also I have installed MicroG for YouTube vanced and XDA Labs to check it out after.
I didn’t succeed in allowing YouTube vanced to open videos from chrome links. Then I decided to delete it via Titanium backup and started to install again from XDA LABS.
Suddenly my device rebooted and started an infinite bootloop to Download mode. Blue screen with “Downloading...Do not turn off target. Nothing helps, I can access recovery, but neither cache cleaning nor factory reset doesn’t help. I am so desperate that I got bricked phone at my vacation in foreign country. Please, someone can tell me what can I do to make alive my phone ?
Big thanks in advance!
Flash with Odin?
agree with post #2, flash it with Odin
I had the same problem you have to wait until the battery dies to end the reboot loop then you connect the charger to charge it a bit then try entering download mode when the phone boots might take a couple of tries but it should enter download mode then you can flash the stock rom.
as the phone reboots, simple hold volume down, bixby, then simply flash your stock firmware. Which im assuming you have already downloaded. Cant go wrong with that buddy. Id be very surprised if that way didnt get you out of any scenario.

Hey guys
Samsung Galaxy Mini 5570 is a pretty old device now and definitely not worth to talk about, but It's for my aunt and she said i HAVE to fix it otherwise she will kick my butt.
This is the whole story:
Phone was running a very low android version (it was 2.1 or something) that i could barely install apps on it (Just installed WhatsApp), I decided to upgrade it to a higher version so i could install other applications like Line and Telegram for her, so basically i had to flash CWM file first because it was required, I flashed it using this link:
http://www.droidthunder.com/root-install-clockworkmod-cwm-recovery-samsung-galaxy-minipop-gt-s5570/
They said flash the cwm file and factory reset your phone but i flashed the cwm file and rebooted my phone without factory reset, everything was working fine :good: but i decided to follow the instruction so i rebooted into the recovery mode and factory reseted my phone (by my phone i mean her phone, but i'm gonna say my phone instead) and guess what, it never booted up again. stuck on Samsung logo.
But i could go into the download and recovery mode, so basically i followed this instruction:
http://www.droidthunder.com/update-samsung-galaxy-minipop-gt-s5570-android-4-2-1-cyanogenmod-10-1/
which is from the same guy, I flashed it using recovery mode and flashed gapps too, everything went normal without any errors. So i rebooted my phone and ............
a black screen poped up, I was really worried because i couldn't boot my phone, nor could i go into the recovery or download mode. I don't know if i could or not but the only thing I'm getting right now is a black screen or a backlight.
The only thing that seems to be working is when i hold Power+Volume UP button, my laptop can detect my phone (as Samsung CDMA Technologies) but can not flash anything using Odin, it stucks on "setup connection" message. Nothing else is working, I tried:
Home+power+volume down
Home+power+volume down+volume up
Power+volume down
Power+home
etc
I also tried a hundred different ways like completely uninstalling the drivers (with or without kies) pulling battery out, try those key combination while battery is out and reinsert battery while holding them but nothing is working.
I found this article yesterday which is for unbricking the hard bricked phones, but ADB can not detect my phone:
http://www.engineerthink.com/blog/2015/11/how-to-unbrick-hard-bricked-android-phone/
Please help me guys, And do not suggest me to take it in Customer Service because i would if i could.
Thanks in advance
After months of deliberation I finally decided to root my Note 9. It was the first time I've ever tried rooting and it seems to have gone horribly wrong. To root the phone, I followed the guide in the video titled 'How to Root Galaxy Note 9! [EASIEST METHOD]' on youtube which has an instruction link in the description. As a new user here, the forum doesn't allow me to post links yet, so please just type the title on youtube and it'll come up as the first result.
What I did was:
- unlocking bootloader
- Flash AP file with TWRP version 3.4.0
- Wipe data
- Since I was worried about using a software from an unknown source, I then flashed the official magisk v20.4 instead of the 'N9-S9_root_for_oem_issue_devices_v3' file recommended in the video.
After doing so, the note 9 restarted and showed the error message "Verification Failed, Unable to restart your device. The Integrity verification has failed. You need to reset your device to factory default settings. This will erase all your data.". I allowed the phone to reset.
Following this, the phone restarted and showed exactly the same message of 'verification failed' and no amount of going through the rebooting process resolved the issue. I googled the issue and was advised to flash the phone with Odin by going into download mode. I then tried to go into download mode, but the phone will simply not go into it and tries to restart the normal way. I also tried to connect to my laptop to see if I can flash with odin but the phone was not recognised at all by the computer.
I then tried to reboot using the twrp key combo and this worked. I then decided to try flashing with the 'N9-S9_root_for_oem_issue_devices_v3' file in the tutorial. Yet, this led to the same issue as with the official magisk file.
Looking at some rooting tutorials, I see that some of them recommend flashing CSC, AP, BL and CP instead of just the AP in the tutorial I followed. I then thought that perhaps the issue is I need to install a ROM on the device. I therefore tried to load the lineage 17.1 ROM in the micro SD card and installed it (top left option on twrp 'install') as well as the magisk and disable_dm_verify_forceencrypt zip files.
In hindsight, this was a stupid move from me - I did so I was in full panic mode at that point and desperate for a solution.
After doing so, the phone rebooted and showed a booting animation of a single blue curved line stuck with a circle rolling from right to left on it.
I left it for a while, hoping that it meant the new ROM was booting. 30 min later it was still stuck on the animation!
I then tried to reboot the phone. Pressing power button did nothing. I then tried different combinations and eventually power + volume up + bixby allowed it to restart in TWRP mode.
As of now, the phone is still in TWRP mode. The phone is still not recognised by my laptop and will not enter download mode if I press volume down + bixby when restarting.
I am fully aware that I've screwed up the rooting process and feel awful about it. It was the first time I've ever tried rooting and I really hope it is only a 'soft brick' and that my phone can be saved. I would really appreciate if anyone here could advise what I can do to complete the root process correctly from here?
Many thanks,
Sam
Is there a "download" or "bootloader" option when you press the reboot button in TWRP? My Note9 is on stock, so I'm not 100% certain myself. However if there is, that should take you to Samsung's download screen. This way you can send yourself back to stock if you give up on rooting your device.
BTW, I do recommend following a note9 rooting guide on XDA (it's not too hard to find) over a youtube video, since YouTube videos can often be out of date or a little sketchy.
Hi all.
So this is quite strange (i think).
I managed to root my s20 fe 4g using magisk with the help of some people from here and a guide.
I have played around with it, installed some stuff, uninstalled some apps (using titanium backup) and was all well.
When I went to restart the phone to give it a clean break, it now wont load up again. Just gets stuck on the 'Phone is starting...' screen. Now this isn't a huge problem, i thought I couldjust flashthe stock firmware again and root the same way and perhaps it will be well. The problem is it wont boot into download or recoery because it is stuck in a cycle of trying to start itself. I can force it to restart by holding the vol- and power button, but that is the only combination that will make it restart, it instantly restarts before i can change the keys held to try and get it into download mode.
Does anyone know what I can do to try and remedy this so it will start again?
UPDATE:
I think i stupidly must have deleted the one ui launcher by mistake... Now I am trying to get an APK to the phone, but ADBdoesn't recognise it at the 'phone is starting' screen. My phon is at dead stage, so i can get it to boot into download now, but it doesnt seem to want to go into recovery, and i think its stock recovery, so not sure if ADB will work?
Any other suggestions to get the launcher apk pushed and installed?
if you can get download mode flash the rom again, hopefully you still have it from rooting.
don't use titanium backup to uninstall system apps. even using it to freeze apps can be a problem if it's not gonna boot up.
get a copy of a safe debloat list and stick only those listed packages that others have found to safe to deactivate.
Sooooooo..... I have a problem. I am using AOSPK, and everything went very well, I was very happy with my new custom ROM. The Equalizer App kept crashing, so I installed Viper4android. That didn't really work, so I tried to fix it by installing APKs, Magisk Modules, which all resulted in the driver not being enabled. But then I stumbled across this thread here on XDA and there was a Module for Magisk I could flash which supposedly fixed the Error, but of course, that didn't work. As usual, I removed it with Magisk and rebooted it.
Now. The thing is, I am pretty much stuck on an endless Bootloop. I already had a Bootloop once, but those always led me back to TWRP. To get out of the AOSPK Kraken loading GIF, I had to let it like that overnight and let it drain its battery. Now, this morning I plugged the Phone in and tried again, but it didn't work. I let the battery drain itself again, but It only took like 10 minutes as it was plugged in for a short time. I only now found out I can press on Power + VolDown to force reboot.
I would REALLY love some help here, how do I get out of this mess? Do I plug into a PC and try to boot to TWRP? What do I do next? Please explain to me step by step, I am really in a sticky situation right now.
UPDATE: I can get into TWRP, not what? I wiped chache and dalvik, did nothing. What now?
Hi. I am also using Kraken rom. Check out this post if you want.

Hi, don't know if it's too late but I did have the same problem before and all I did was boot into TWRP. When you wipe make sure to check everything from Dalvil to Internal Storage and format data as well. Also if you are going to install Magisk try to do it after your phone boot into os otherwise it will stuck in bootloop again. I hope that's can help!
Hi, I tried to uninstall YouTube today (yes, I know it's a stupid idea) from my LG V40. All with root. First time using com.jumobile.manager.systemapp, then using Lucky Patcher. Using the LP I remember that I also used the option to replace the factory application (I don't really remember the exact name of this option, but it sounded like it was supposed to replace the application that appears after uninstalling the system application update). It seems that since then uninstalling did a quick reboot, but always successfully. After installing YouTube, I manually rebooted. Unfortunately, the system wakes up only to the inscription with the phone logo. Is there any way to restore the phone? I care most about the data in the form of photos and video - the rest can eventually be wiped. I can't turn off my phone because it's in bootloop all the time. I'm waiting for it to discharge and do it on its own
EDIT
I can go to fastboot mode and EDL mode, but can't see any adb devices from cmd. Anyone know how to see device?
