i'm italian user, i use nowtv app and i mount androis 10, it works but it is impossible use dowload feature, i tried to disable battery setting but it doesn't work. i tried to eneable notification but not works
it tried to download but failed immediatly.
maybe it has not permission to write into archive but under autoritation settings there's not the option.
help me!

hi all
i have a galaxy tab and have upgraded to gingerbread 2.3.3 using kies and i am getting a frequent error message that an extensive google search can't explain
so i was wondering if someone in here might be able to help me out and please shed some light on it?
the situation is - every now and then, i get a force close popup for "com.diotek.diodict.p1.engeng"
a google search of this text brings up only 205 results! adding in "galaxy tab" makes it drop even more! so i am guessing it's not a common issue...
in fact, it seems the only posts are either to do with the "JME firmware" (which I dont think I have) or an app called Advanced Task Killer which I also don't have.
i have searched everywhere and not found anything to solve the problem. can anyone in here please help??

i should also say that i have tried clearing the data for the English Dictionary application (that came with the tab) and also tried a Factory Reset (in privacy settings). the clear data didnt change anything but when i factory reset it, it took a few days for the issue to reappear.

I had the same problem. I re-installed the 'English Dictionary' APK, which you can find in /preload/apk (you can get there in ES File Manager, don't need to be rooted) & haven't had a problem since

Install ES File Explorer, hit the far left button to go from /sdcard to / ... then you can navigate down ...
well by now it would normally have force closed, but since the reinstallation it hasnt - so big thanks to pokey! fixed!
I have the same problem but my preload/app did not have DioDict_EngEng.apk. I found a copy of the apk, copied it to my external sd card and try reinstalling it but it did not work. Can anyone tell me how I can get rid of that error message.
Also under preload/TOSDCARD, there is a folder named samsungdic but no apk in it too. Hope someone can help me, thank you

I just registered to this forum in order to provide the following information.
I have a Galaxy Tab P1000 with Gingerbread installed thorugh the Samsung Kies update. My tab is not rooted or anything. It started showing several times a day a message indicating: "(process com.diotek.diodict.p1.engeng) has stopped unexpectedly". If you try to uninstall the application using the Android Menu, you won't be able to do it, cause the Uninstall button is grayed.
If you want to see the error, try loading the English dictionary that should be in Applications in your tab.
So, i managed to solve the issue, and it's very simple. Just download an app called APPREMOVER, and remove the English Dictionary. Once removed, get into Samsung Applications and search for English Dictionary. Just download it and reinstall it.
Before this, i tried deleting the tab data, deleting a directory in the tab using the ES File Manager, also i installed the English Dictionary from an apk i found on mediafire (google for DioDict_EngEng.apk and it will be the first hit). NOTHING worked.
So i hope this helps Orcomma, raejade, and anyone else who has this problem.

Hi. I'm italian so please excuse my bad english. This is my first post. After installing many ROMs on my Galaxy S i9000 i found a problem. When i opened Google Maps i couldn't navigate because it stucked on the "Finding GPS..." sentence on the bottom of the screen. It can't fix so it can't find my position. I've tried to leave it on GPS searching for over 1 hour with no results. So I've tried to search about this problem. On the internet it said " enter the LBS test mode " but I've understood that I needed AngryGPS. But there wasn't on my telephone. It's disappeared when I've installed MIUI. Now I've another rom but AngryGPS is still disappeared. Can someone attache it and write the instructions? (I think I've to put it in system/app folder but I'm not sure). Thankz

No, the code it's linked with AngryGPS but i haven't AngryGPS. Why I can't find anywhere the apk???! For this reason I was asking if someone could attache it! I'm now trying to test that app, thanks, but it would bery helpful if I would find the link to the apk!

I've already tried those two apps(GpsAIDS and SGS Toolbox) but it doesn't work! SGS toolbox uses the code you gave me to enter the GPS menu! GPSAids didn't help me...Why I can't find AngryGPS apk?

i have 2 Sony Xperia V mobile phones and i installed the same rom on it (CARBON-LP-5.1.1-UNOFFICIAL-20150812-1159-tsubasa). With one of both i haven´t any issues but with the other one i can´t write to the system folder. I tried ES File Explorer to make the system RW. No error message follows but i can´t write to it. I tried the Mount app and the same result. No error message but i´m not able to write to the system. Apps like Gallery can´t work but no external Storage available.
I installed both phones with the same kind of installation. One works fine one not.
Can anyone help me to find the solution?

I posted the thread here as i think it's the most appropriate, pardon if im wrong.
The toast message "Omniswitch restricted mode, failed to gain system permissions" is shown in the notification list.
How do I give it that? i installed via Magisk, and i also tried flashing the zip from TWRP.
the magisk manager doesn't list it in #superuser where for example substrantum and solid explorer are listed.
I'm in the same issue android 13, nothing doesn't work...

Oke kinda stra ge because i have Xperia 1 iii with A13 and have that option when an app restrict an option then i just do that.
I have an A13 OmniSwitch APK which used to work on December security update but now for January it does not. It only shows the overlay if there are no recent apps but does FC when recent apps are available.
is it working on android 11\12\13 ???
If this question is directed at me, you can find working OmniSwitch for 11 and 12 in the appropriate thread. Mine did work on earlier A13 but not lately.

ok , what I 'm trying to make work on a13 but without success , I 've tried all the traditional ways , but it does not work ... I wanted to know how to work on a13 ...
Flash this zip then copy OmniSwitch to /system/priv-app. Be aware it may not work on newer A13 patched ROMs.
