Hi! I flash the ROM today and I'm loving it, especially that it came with hypercam, an excellent choice. But I noticed some battery draining on standby. I put the LightningKernel and it seems to have improved (still in test).
I like this ROM and I hope the project continues. Congratulations to the developer.
Nitrogen was my daily driver on my old Redmi Note 3 till it died, so I'm waiting for first positive reviews to flash it.
Password Issue
After installing the ROM, it's asking for a password that I made sure to remove before installing this ROM. I've tried with stock ROM and other custom ROMs but this is the only ROM I'm having this issue with.

I've wiped cache, internal storage, data, I mean everything. Still getting the issue only on this ROM. I've tried this at least 5 times.

If you were on other rom with encrypted device them twrp will not erase the encryption.

Did you just tried formatting the system? Maybe it'll work bcoz in my case it did when I flashed Evo X when it had this issue....
I have flashed it yesterday only. Please check weather your device is decrypted.

Wiping includes wiping data system cache dalvik vendor and internel storage
Whereas formatting includes only normal formatting whole data.... If you include internal storage then it's same as formatting....

I try this rom for many times before. you can try with my help:
go to recovery, full wipe, reflash Recovery (Twrp in my case?). And reboot recovery (Hold power + home + wolume up). Then flash rom again
flashed successfully but it does not go beyond flymeOS boot logo....

What is Xiaomi.eu?
Xiaomi.eu is a custom ROM based on MIUI. Per my knowledge, Xiaomi.eu roms started off as a way to get a more "European" experience out of MIUI, which was predominantly Chinese. This involved better localization for non-Chinese languages, and making changes to make MIUI more global in nature.
How is Xiaomi.eu roms different from Official Global Stable?
Xiaomi.eu is a custom rom, and as such, contains a fair few tweaks over the Official Global Stable. Ofcourse, due to its unofficial nature, you can not complain about Xiaomi.eu to Xiaomi.
Where can I get Xiaomi.eu roms?
The latest of Xiaomi.eu rom can be downloaded from here: http://xiaomi.eu/community/forums/miui-weekly-rom-releases.103/
There is a weekly release schedule for these, and you can find the latest version on top. Do take a look through the first post to see if there are any special notes for your device before downloading. You do not need to be a member to download the rom.
As a question against weekly ROM vs stable ROM, as the name implies, the weekly ROM has more of a beta nature to it. It works very well, but think of it as a comparison to nightly builds from CyanogenMod (except this is weekly, not every night). Stable ROM is much more suited for the normal consumer, but it comes without root.
So, how do I install?

Wipe data and flash rom
First boot of the ROM takes approx 15-20 mins.

So now just wipe cache ,dalvik cache and data do not wipe system and then flash xioami.EU ROM it will not give any error

I restarted phone after wiping system(coming from other rom we need to wipe system ? ) eventhough it showed error

Are u flashing by t.w.r.p 3.0.0.1 (miui-lp)
All version of miui ROM can be flashed by the process.
Reboot to recovery.
Wipe data+cache+dalvik cache+system
Reboot to recovery ,again.
Flash miui ROM.

For who have the Brazilian (2014819) variant and can't flash xiaomi.eu's ROM because it doesn't recognizes the 2014819 model, flash the 2014811 TWRP available here:

The newer recoveries "knows" the 2014819 and shows it to updater script. So, a recovery than doesn't know the model will presume it's a 2014811 and flash normally.

I have 2 questions:
1). If I'm coming from nougat (lineage) do I need to full wipe before flashing?
2). I had twrp 3.1.1 official installed, do I need to downgrade it first?

It's now about one year that I had shared the FlymeOS 5 Builds by SiFooYee.
Now the amazing dev SiFooYee has also build Flyme OS 6 for our I9300 BIG THX to him!!
Flyme OS is a fully themed chinese ROM just like MIUI. Each app is themed and looks really different and colorful than stock android. It's also a multilanguage ROM.

The rom itself is as smooth as all other MM roms. The battery life is also quite similar.

- Home button (but does not close the recent apsps panel still(minor bug))

It took me 30sec to download it fully so its much faster than it was before

Home button doesn't work.it works to wake device and open recent but can't close apps and file manager gets crashed when opened and some others like music player and also some graphics issue
Isn't fly me os 6 based on nougat?. I really appreciate it if the developer use lineage os 14.1 as base instead of cm13. Because it's now stable as cm13.

stock calendar gets deleted when you install a GApps package which includes the google calendar
I would still go for FlymeOS5 its almost as stabe as cm13

The ROM is still buggy battery is ok on flyme 6 but performance is not as good as flyme 5 I would recommend flyme 5.flyme 6 will improve over time

I tested it,and yes! It is stable with go mode,but it seems to be rather confusing; I don't no why this ROM has such an old security patch level! And why should the Nova launcher be installed as a system app?!! Thanks for your hard work ?

The security package is outdated because it is the final update of the oreo version of the rom.
And noval launcher is tipsy oreo default launcher.
So the two reasons you mentioned are not caused by me. but glad you like it.
Clean install, "go mode" enabled.
I can't get this ROM to work. Constant problems with SIM PIN. I can't get through this screen, I enter my PIN, but the system hangs, crashes or resets. Over and over again. I can't even enter the system to disable the PIN code.

Exactly the same problems.
Besides, surprisingly, I had identical problems with EVERY Pie ROM. I've never encountered such problems with Oreo, until now.

If any of you guys want a (relatively) stable ROM which has decent battery performance, tons of customizations while being lightweight at the same time, this ROM is good for you.
Side note: I noticed this bug where it would have a notification popup that settings has stopped working even though nothing happened. Apart from that, it's all smooth sailing.
btw I'm using the Vanilla build with NikGapps Core and Google Location History Addon.
I tried to install this firmware in the way specified in the description. But I get a hang on the logo and after a while a reboot in twrp. What am I doing wrong?

That's why I'm talking. I do as in the description. I'm also doing what you wrote. Maybe that's not what I mean by "format Data"? Is this where you need to confirm with "yes"? If so, then I'm doing everything.

Install fw vendor. format data with yes and reboot twrp before flashing ROM and install gapps magisk and afterwards also format data with yes. Then reboot and drink a tea

If you need to, reflash miui global with miflash (flash_all and NOT flash_all_and_lock), boot into twrp, wipe - advanced - data and dalvik (idk if this is necessary tho), flash fw and vendor, flash ROM, format data (swipe to yes), you can flash gapps or whatever (I always flash magisk using the boot.img).

It turned out only when I flashed the full miui ROM first. It turns out that not always and not for all custom ROMs, it is suitable to limit yourself to flashing only vendor.
