I've been trying to get to fastboot. The buttons I push don't do anything. The phone just restarts. I tried the adb command as well and nothing. Any reason why? Sprint unlocked pie
It should be volume up +power button unless sprint removed the feature

I tried to unlock the bootloader on my HTC One [m7]. I've followed all the steps on htcdev.com. I managed to skip the manual (vol. down + power) way to get in to fastboot using adb.
Code:
adb devices
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot devices
fastboot oem get_identifier_token
fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin
However, I'm at step 10 (imgur.com/4mYYF5V.jpg) and I'm stuck. If my volume buttons are working, all I have to do is press vol. up and then select "Unlock bootloader".
Is there a way to get past this?

No. Your need the volume button to work. You have 2 options: fix the volume button or buy the Sunshine s-off to s-off and unlock.

Thanks for the response. I'll take a look at Sunshine.
Was hoping to find a workaround like maybe rebind the volume button (like bind vol. up to home button).
But this will probably do the trick.

Bricked my p9
It is unlocked and I cannot get it to go into erecovery mode - Basically cannot get past the 'your device has been unlocked and cant be trusted screen.'
If I turn it off and hold volume up and power, it just go back to the your device is locked screen. I am able to get into fastboot mode by holding volume and down. ADB devices shows nothing but fastboot devices does.
Any suggestions?

You could flash TWRP via fastboot and install a ROM or wipe data.

I'm trying to unlock my bootloader using the V35 bootloader someone on the forum had previously uploaded, however I wasn't able to access fastboot by any means (hardware buttons and software). I'm wondering if I were to nuke laf_a and laf_b partitions using QFIL, could I gain access to fastboot? Will it cost anything other than download mode?
Only thing youll lose download mode. But keep holing power with volume down, the 3rd finger can rapidly press volume up button. It should enter edl cus it took me like 3 reboots to see then black screen edl.

I have a clean untouched redmi9 MIUI global 12.5.5 android 11
I have not even used it before.
I tried to enter fastboot mode by enabling developer options oem unlocking
also USB debugging on
Then I power off and I press volume down + power key
Phone just vibrates and restarts does not enter fastboot. If I quickly remove hands while vibrating it gets stuck on vibrating until i hard press power again. I can never enter fastboot mode even though I tried a lot of times. I downloaded the ADB tools and used .\adb.exe reboot bootloader. Phone vibrates for around 6-7s then restarts.
How do I enter fastboot mode it should not be this hard!
