Okay so basically I am looking to update the baseband for my n920c (Note5) but am not quite sure if I need to download a baseband based on the info in my about phone for as i have recently flashed Lineage 16, therefore am currently running the Lineage OS. Or do i need to download one based on the stock system specs? And if so how do I get the original specs?
me too wondering about the same issue, i'm using Floyd rom and i need to know which modem to flash for my note 5 n920c

Basically can I flash a Europe Firmware or ROM that was based on a Europe stock firmware over my Australian firmware and still have my phone fully functional on the Australian Networks?
I read that Asian phones might have issues but as far as I can see the Australian SGS is the international version.
I've installed Darky's 9.0.2 (which is based on XXJPY) on my Optus Galaxy S, and I highly recommend it Much better than the stock rom, much smoother and definitely looks better!
What was your stock ROM? lexxonnet?
It was DTJP5 as well.
ok Thanks that makes me feel a lot better, I think I will install Darkyy's 9.0.2 as well. Which CF-Root did you use? and did you flash JPY stock first or did you just go directly with the Darkyy's ROM?
Anyway I took the plunge and installed Darkyy's 9.1 Extreme Edition.... But the clockwork mod wouldn't work until I flashed my firmware to XXJPY.... but its all working so all is good.
I downgraded from cm10.2 to stock gb and then flashed (had installed speedmod kernel) Mackay CM9 2014 1.7
The performance is great. But I experience constant network drop. I live in India and the stock baseband version for Gingerbread was ddjv7.
Can i just find a ddjv7 modem and flash it (using TWRP) or do i need to see if it's compatible with this particular ROM.
Right now the baseband version is XXJVT.
Kernel: stock for Mackay
it's fine just to flash baseband from recovery, I'm using exactly the same rom and did the same with mine but with a different baseband for my region
EDIT: found the modem you are looking for here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2134153
Hi,
I've used my Note 1 for quite a while now and have tested various custom ROMS on it. I now want to take it back to stock ROM and from what I can gather it should be pretty simple to accomplish. However I have a couple of concerns:
There are so many stock ROMS out there... How do I determine which one I should use? Does it matter or will all work?
I read in a comment somewhere that I should not "downgrade" to a ROMS with an earlier Android version. Is this true?
I am currently running Mokee version MK44.4-n7000-141219-RELEASE with Android version 4.4.4
Baseband version N7000XXLT3
Hope you can help!
Thanks!

You can flash whichever 4.1.2 ROM you prefer. Go to samsungupdates.com and flash via PC of mobile Odin. Read up on how to do it properly. Guides already exist.

Hello everyone need some advice/help.
I have an ATT note 3 running 4.3 and I'm ready to upgrade to something newer due to issues. I'm looking to do 5.1.1 or 6.0 but someone told me 6.0 doesn't support call audio. I tried to download and flash from here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/development/rom-unofficial-cyanogenmod-13-0-t3238064 under older versions
but the files do not show up in my odin. I downloaded version cm13.0 20160128. I also downloaded banks dynamic g apps but still see nothing under the download files in odin. Any help is greatly appreciated.
The att note 3 has a locked bootloader. Sadly you cannot upgrade them the way you're wanting to. You can read a few threads here to upgrade to lollipop and even a few stock based ROMs.

Okay guys, haven't update my Note in forever, currently on 5.0 of Rapture.
Baseband / BL: COG6
Android: 5.0.1
My question is, what is newer, EPG2 or EPE3? I thought the 3rd character indicated version (G > E, EPG2 newer), but Maximum Overdrive says 1.5 is based on EPG2 and 2.0 is based on EPE3.... which makes me think EPE3 is the newest?
In any case I ask because MO needs at least baseband and bootloader versions EPE3 and I want to make sure I have at least that before I flash a MM ROM. The only bootloader I could find was EPG2 so if EPE3 is newer could someone share a link to it and the baseband?
