I'm using Mi 8 with MIUI 11, Today I changed dpi from developer mode and now I'm stuck in a boot loop. but I can go to Mi-Recovery mode and there is only 3 option available. reboot, wipe all data, Connect to Mi assistant.
Thing's I tried:
1. I've used ADB before but unfortunately, I disabled USB Debugging after using ADB and now when I try to use ADB for resetting dpi, I'm not successful.
2. When I'm going to Connect to Mi assistant from Recovery-mode, It's showing me a URL to install Mi PC Suite. I'm installing this software but My phone doesn't connect to it.
All I want is to backup my pictures. Is there anything I can do? I believe if I press wipe all data my phone will work as before but I will lose all of my pictures which I don't want to.
(Sorry for bad English)

My MI8 work's fine but then same thing happens: can't connect with pc suite in recovery.
If your bootloader is unlocked you can install twrp from fastboot and in twrp connect to the pc and retrieve the pictures, algo while bootloping you can try to do adb pull from the pc

you SOT ....
you need adb & fastboot that works to do anything
you can only try 3 things:
1. find out what is wrong with usb ...try new official cables , reinstalling drivers, different usb ports , different pc
2. using application from playstore and on your phone enable and authorize adb via wifi / network
use this adb to force phone to boot to edl mode:
adb reboot edl
3. open your mobile with screwdriver following video tutorials .... using testpoint force edl mode
#in edl mode your phone WILL be detected if you install Qualcomm drivers then you can flash stock rom with miflash
i dont know why people mess with PE because like 80% have problems with wifi or usb or something
When I try to flash ROM or recovery via fasboot on my phone mi 9 lite my phone exit fastboot by itself and disconnected from PC I have tried many things like try another cable or use other PC or even install older windows' versions but no luck at all and I really don't know the problem.. it always exit and shutdown when I try to do anything via fastboot..

Head over to Device Manager, and check if your device is correctly recognized.
if your device is categorized under 'Other Devices' and has yellow triangle, then you have to install fastboot driver.
download generic usb driver below.
Get the Google USB Driver | Android Studio | Android Developers
The Google USB Driver is required to perform adb debugging on Windows with Google devices.
developer.android.com
after unzipping downloaded file, right click 'android_winusb.nif' file inside 'usb_driver' folder and install it.
back to the 'device manager', locate your device and right click it, and choose 'update driver'.
select 'Search driver from my Computer' - 'Select from available driver list' - find 'Android Device' from the list and select next - select 'Android ADB Interface' and select next - click yes to proceed
and voila! you successfully installed fastboot driver, your device should be recognized as Android Device and good to go.
Hello to all. I have mi 11 ultra .I wanted to unroot the device. I installed magisk for that, after disabling USB debugging and turning off developer options. After restart, device stuck on boot screen with a black screen.
Bootloader Unlocked
USB debugging is not enabled
I can not enter recovery mode using Volume Up+Power button combination. It does not work.
I can enter fastbood mode using volume down+power combination but usb debugging not enabled.
There is no way i can find, recovering or factory resetting the device.

Download and latest adb drivers.
Older drivers can't detect the phone.
Use windows 10 , there could be issues with windows 11 with adb/fastboot.
I used my old phone's cable and it was detected. Mi flash tool did not recognize but mi flash tool pro worked. I flashed the EEA rom. Since i am not familiar with all the stuff, it took all of the night. But i managed to make it work. I can not thank you enough for your answers.
