Is it possible to help, had anyone this problem?
When I am receiving and message and I scroll down from notifications and try to quick reply I cannot type anything on that text field.
I've tried restarting, factory reset, clearing cache..
No one knows?

Hi guys, I've searched the forum and have not found any solution to this issue.
I'm just installed the latest rom from helmi and xplode and discovered that both the roms have this same problem : When i soft reset my BA, those text messages which i have deleted from my inbox always reappear. I've installed the sms alert fix and i guess it shouldnt be causing this problem.
In addition, after this problem appears, any sms that i received will be deleted upon soft reset. The messages that remains all the same ones which i have deleted over and over again.
Is there a way for me to permanently delete away all these text messages?

you didn't do the no/yes/yes routine after flashing the rom?
Well I tried PocketCM, and then uninstalled it. Now when I press the mail button or try to send a test message from a contact, nothing happens!
Does anyone know how to restore the native text messaging?

i would do a hard reset..it will clean it..i had trouble with palm threaded app on mine and i just hard reseted it..because even if i fix it some other way,everytime i send a text i will feel like what if that text is not delivered..i like the certain solution..hard reset will bring everything to factory installed version
Wow I really don't want to hard reset and loose all the software I've installed.
If no one can provide a way to reset just the text messaging I guess I will have to.
I figured other software has messed up text messaging before so there must be some registry entries or some way to fix this without re-installing the whole device.

All better now. I was able to launch the Text Messaging app from a text notification dialog box and it re-asserted itself. Mail button works now. Strange.

I did receive message, deleted this SMS, but phone still showed that there is one message unread. I did clear all sms/mms but there is still notice that there is one message unread... don't know how to clean it or reset message status.

try to search this forum, I think I read about this some time ago. Unfortunately I cant remember where was it.
I tried to soft reset, clean all sms/mms box but not success... only highlighted that I have 1 unread meesage...
U have to clear it out from the registry.
I had this same problem for a very long time.
I had it so bad that even after clearing it manuall from the registry I would still get a new sms after receiving an sms.
Do a search with my user name and unread sms and you will find the address of the registry change needed.
It is nice this registry change but it not helps after SW restart / restart by Power Button.
Any other idea?

Find utils to fix this issue. So run on device and SW restart...
Does anyone have the same problem? All of a sudden, an error message appeared saying that there is a problem with the APLauncher.exe then I can't open any messages!!
I can't open any SMS or Emails by selecting Start menu - Messaging - SMS \ MMS or Hotmail - press on any message title. All it gives me is a blank screen. I have checked in Device/Windows/Messaging and seems to have all the messages there (.mbp) files.
Can anyone help

This may be an obvious answer, but have you tried a soft-reset?
Done and not doing the job. It went ok for a while, and it is not working again. I know I can do hard reset but of course don't want hee hee.
Any other suggestion anyone? like a .cab file to install the APlauncher.exe to replace the old one?

Any more information? Have you looked at the messages in the app not just previewed them? Try deleting the messages to see if that helps.

Happened to me also..I first did a restart,but that din help.Then later i just did a reset.Now its perfectly fine.
I know its hard to rest as you would lose the data,even me,but i had no choice.
