Hi all! I really want to buy the Xperia Z1 but I'm an american and I might have to import it. I keep on looking at a site called Negri. I want to buy it unlocked but it has to work on tmobile's HSPA+42 network. I hear there are different models but I don't see model listing numbers on any sites for preorder. My phone currently is a lg G2x. I've tried many custom roms but its on its last legs.
I keep on looking at sony.com and sony mobile.com but I don't even see it for preorder (usa sites). Is the Negri the international version?
If anyone knows anything please give me a hand. Also is the bootloader locked?

I've been looking at Negri's site also for the Z1. According to the spec description, all the necessary bands are there for it to work on T-Mo. I say you contact Negri customer service to confirm that or just wait till the phone is released on T-Mo. With T-Mo carrying the Z, I wouldn't count them out on carrying the Z1. Just for your reference, my international HOX is getting the 3G sign on T-Mo instead of the H.
Order from clove.co.uk or handtec.co.uk
they are better than negrielectronics, plus usually negri kinda lags on their shipping dates because they get their devices from wholesalers or dealers w/e.
order from the above sites, its about 20 dollars cheaper, and you get a FREE SMART WATCH ($250)!!!!
plus they will get the device starting on the 16th, so it will ship 16-20, with 1-3 day shipping to the US.
The devices sold by these two companies are C6903 which have all the freq/bands for t-mobile. So it should work unless something horrible goes wrong when we get them (doesnt work lol).

Hi all,
I just recently switched to T-Mobile from Sprint, so please excuse my ignorance.
I'm looking to pre-order the phone from one of 2 UK sites; www.clove.co.uk and/or www.unlocked-mobiles.com.
Does the phone need to be unlocked for use of T-Mobile?
Are phones from UK auto unlocked or do I need to check with these 2 companies?

Thanks for the source for ordering the Z1 in Europe. These are really great deals, Negri is pretty much $50 more (that's what it looks like when I run the conversion on XE.com) and there's no smart watch offer. Hopefully I'll be able to save up enough before these deals are gone.

The phones on the sites above should be unlocked. You should probably pick between clove and handtec that were recommended, unlock-mobiles offers the phone around the same price, but doesn't have the offer for free Sony Smart Watch 2. Clove and handtec will be the better deal.

Just like Gwuhua, they are unlocked. Buying from these resellers are unlocked. Preorder from clove or handtec, I read that they are on backorder, but you will still receive your phone/watch

Tks for your response!
I'll go ahead and look into Handtec, but as for warranty repairs, can I send it to Sony USA or do I have to send it to UK should anything happen to the phone?

I've put the product in the basket and almost went through the ordering process just so I could see the actual USD total in Paypal. The cost is running close to $78X.XX which is quite high, but do remember, they're throwing in the smartwatch 2 which is worth at least $250. Just want to make sure you don't get shocked by the bill. Paypal may or may not be using the currency rate from XE.com or other currency sites.
I ordered mine from HandTec UK and it is 1-3 day FedEx shipping to the US. The cool thing is that it also comes with a free Smartwatch 2! I checked with T-Mobile and the unlocked Xperia Z1 should support all the bands for HSPA and 4G LTE.

Bought my purple Hong Kong C6903 variant in early October from Negri, and couldn't be happier! LTE works great on T-Mobile USA!
I am planning to buy Sony xperia Z1. In eBay it shows only seller warranty is applicable as it is imported and in MPN it has been put up ebay_SonyXperiaZ116GBUnlockedBlack. what that means ? and will i be able to use that phone in India? any cons in that ?
Ask the seller about compatibility between carriers and which model it is (C69XX)

No Problem it works in India, there are 2 models imported, c6902 (3g only) and c6903 (LTE), i too bought it for a friend (then 3g model).
Also in my opinion z2 is around 27k and z1 24k. shell a few grand more and get the z2. you won't regret it. if shortage in cash, then save up. it's worth the time

Thank you :good:
I would have chosen Amazon but If you look at reviews for alot of the shipped op3/3t phones from Amazon which state them as a a3000 which is supposed to be the only one to get LTE in the U.S especially on T-Mobile . Seems that every single reviews seller on Amazon and even some saying they're getting the wrong models right from One plus website the major down side to this is the LTE bands for U.S Carriers .
And I'm seeing this alot on Amazon with international modeled devices like s7 g930f
Or s6 models and op3 them 3 particularly. Seems like the only device that has straight get what you ordered reviews as far as what model and LTE support is the Nexus 6p.
My question is anyone ordered the op3 and got the exact Model they expected and needed for T-Mobile and ATT LTE bands. And what source was it orders through.
If you choose U.S Store on theyre site I'm assuming that's the protocol to ensure you'll get the U.S variant .
I'm expecting mine in 4 days from One plus.

Well, having talked to a OnePlus person online, they say they are only partnered with Amazon India. So never buy OnePlus 3 or 3T on amazon. Buy it only on the OnePlus website. You could also try geekbuying. But, OnePlus has vowed to ship same day so you will get your phone faster than before.
I ordered mine from one plus website got it in about 3-4 days.
Yeah i went straight to the source. No problems

First of all, you can't really go by reviews (to give you a accurate ratio of correct models received versus incorrect), since folks are much more likely take to the internet when something has gone wrong, and they want to vent. It's not as common that folks will make a review just to say "they sent me the right thing" or "everything was fine"; unless the service was really outstanding; or they really like the product, etc. Although I will agree, the number of reviews citing the wrong model was sent is probably too high to be comfortable with.
Secondly, if the product is either sold direct by Amazon, or "fulfilled by Amazon" and they send you the wrong model, they owe you an exchange or refund, at no cost to you. That includes return shipping, since it was their fault. If the product doesn't match the description, it's on them. That is a good thing to remember for any Amazon purchase. Now, if you buy from a third party ("other seller") on Amazon, and it's not "fulfilled by Amazon" either, then the return policy may vary. It's these sellers you have to be careful with (when shopping on Amazon). And you should always check the return policies are in your favor when buying something as expensive as a smartphone.
Lastly, I agree that what you did (and others suggested) is best. Just buy direct from OnePlus. The prices on Amazon aren't much better, maybe $5-10 cheaper after you take shipping into account, if that (OnePlus will ship for free). So it's worth it, to just get it direct from OnePlus.
i oredered straight from one plus site and it arrived in 2 days, no problems at all
Hi Guys
for how much can i sell a P20 Pro CLT-L29 with a Bootloader Unlock Code?
depends where you are and if it's locked to a network or not, also which model C432 or C782 - the huawei devices don't trade-in for much so you would need to find a private sell if want anything over £250
It is the c432 variant. So it isnt locked to a network...
Recent average on swappa is $611 and last sold was $645. I paid $715 for mine in mint condition with an unlocked bootloader 2 weeks ago and that was a slight premium.

Looking at the variant the user has, they would either be in the UK or Europe and not using dollars.. Pricing in UK for tradein is between £260-£300 so ideally needs to sell privately to get a decent price
I live in Switzerland and the prices for electronics are about the same as in the EU. My intention is to sell it privately...
Thanks guys for your help and informations.
To Indians who bought h8296 model and using it in India,
I am planning to buy H8296 model from amazon us as XZ2 is super expensive in India. I would like to know if VOLTE works here with Jio/airtel and other carriers that support volte. How are you guys using ? By flashing Indian firmware or using firmware that came with phone ?
I am fed up with my OnePlus 5 , hate this design, size and bezels. I was using Xperia z3 before and loved its rectangular design.
Thanks in advance
It should work
I checked this information on .frequencycheck website and as per this website this should work in India.
I have bought this model from USA and My phone will arrive next weekend then I can confirm that.
I am happy Xperia z2 user. After using Sony it's very hard to move to any other brand.
