Hello!
I'm new in the forum and also in Xposed. I have a gt-i8160 with a custom ROM called Mokee (4.2.2). Okay, I know it's not the best ROM by far, but I had a problem with another one and just installed it to get through temporally.
Now, I installed last version of Xposed yesterday and downloaded some modules. Didn't get any kind of error, it just went as expected. But after checking it many times, I noticed that it's not working. Tried with other modules, which didn't work as well.
What can I do? Is there any way to solve it?
I was wondering if installing another ROM like cyanogenMod10.2 would solve the problem. Could you guys give me your point of view, please? As I'm new in this world I dunno many things
Thank you :victory:
Not all modules support all ROMs. So you might just have picked some that don't support yours. Try one that will give you obvious results and check in the "logs" section in Xposed Installer whether the module has been loaded and whether there have been any errors.
Using a different ROM can definitely make a difference, but check first if it's supported on your device.
Solved!
Okay I found what was wrong with it!
I actually have version r4 of Mokee, and searching on the internet I noticed that this version doesn't support Xposed Framework.
Mokee version r7 supports it perfectly, but I think I'm going to give a try to CyanogenMod 11 on my gt-i8160
Just saying in case someone has the same problem
Thank you!
Rom is very basic. Built from the UK N8010XXUDNE4 firmware. Runs great on my daughter's N8013. Only thing needed is to flash @Mikyno WIFI fix after your initial boot. See his thread for link and thank him.
ROM is rooted with unsecure stock kernel.
it is ODEX!! (didn't care to deodex since this is just a base.)
Nothing removed except KNOX.
Feel free to use a base for a ROM, I don't even care for credit. I just made this for my old faithful followers who are still rocking the N8013/N8010.
Enjoy!

I have tried to flash this on my n8013 a few times fresh, using TWRP 2.7.1, but each time I try, I get an error once it boots saying that settings has closed Any ideas how to fix this?
EDIT:
I found the issue. When you flash the ROM, you must do it in installments. First, flash just the ROM, then reboot into system, let it boot up and load the default startup options. Then reboot back into Recovery, and flash the n8013_WiFi_Fix, and if you want to, Boeffla Kernel as well. Then once you reboot back into System, it is all good.
I did the two part flashing as well, works great so far! Thanks!
Yeah sorry guys... Spaced out on telling you guys that. Its been a while since I posted anything so I forgot to include the important details. My bad. Glad it is working for you guys. I may or may not start working on a kernel as well and I might add some tweaks to this when I have time between work and updating my apps on the play store.
Thanks!
Will try it soon!
You think otg is working on the 8010?
Is it stock kernel for 8010?

An 8013 update? Lol holy hell. I'm happy I finally decided to check up after all these months. Will give it a shot tonight, thank you!
Thans man 4 the rom
Whats the difference between this/your N8010XXUDNE4 rom and the one used in this linked process? Aside from all the install steps.

Thanks!

Great ROM, exactly what I was looking for for my n8013. Is there a trick to attaining root access with this ROM? Titanium Backup keeps requesting, but it is never granted.
Sorry if this is a noob question. That is the only thing I need. Thanks!
Update: I got this to work by re-flashing auto root utility.
FYI if anyone is having problems with predictive text, you need to go into input languages and download the language (even though you've selected it in the install).
Also I didn't need to install the mikyno wifi fix to get it working, presumably the wifi isn't meant to actually physically work without the fix?
Thanks guys
It was a software issue not hardware. It has been too long for me to really say more then that, but either way good to know. Thank you sir
I get random reboots quite often with all stock based roms.
CM seems to work fine though.
Anyone else has reboot issues?
Edit.
I'm using Phil's touch recovery. Could that be the problem?
I no longer use my LG L90 D415 device anymore as I moved onto the Nexus 6P, but I do have it as a backup phone, I flashed CyanogenMod 13 on it prior to not using it. I realized now that the device just is super laggy with it. What are the best recommended stable ROMs for this device, is it still best to go stock? I am also curious if there are any good Marshmallow ROMs out there as well.
CM 13 is very smooth. Do not know why yours is lag, but you can try full wipe and re-flash, then wipe cache/davik again. If you still feel lag, I guess there is no rom can satisfy your need.

Is it really stable? Maybe it's because I am running an older version which can always be the case. If you do claim it's stable, I than would definitely install it.

I have used it for some days, and it good and smooth for me. I have not install much programs, so I am not sure it is stable or not, but I have not seen any issue. The version I used is the latest snapshot.

Oh okay, I guess I'll give it a look. Did you get the ROM directly off the CM website by any chance ? Or is there a thread here that you can link me to?
You can go here:

RR is also great...

Sweet, I just flashed it. So far so good. I don't intend to run many apps, in fact, probably just need it to be capable enough to check emails, browse the web, answer calls and text messages. Its just a backup phone really. I'll play around with it to see if I do experience any issues, but it seemed blazingly fast (just as fast as my Nexus 6P!) from the initial setup.

If there is any problem, you can try slimrom or RR. both are good, and almost bug-free. If you just use L90 as a backup phone, I think there will be no problem. the funny thing is I just bought L90 as my main phone, replacing sony E1, which is also a great phone for me (of course, with many tweaks and debloat)
RR is ok but Sygic Navigation dont work :-/ I use Teamsek.
Maybe just me but on all clones cm13 after uninstalling any apk, system process crashes.
I also use Temasek...everything works great!

I have been using the CM13 since March or April I don't remember exactly when, and it works fine. I installed the Gapps Mini, I have root and xposed installed.
I have been updating the rom several times a month, the last update I installed was from 11-06-2016.
I have some Apps installed, but I dont use facebook, neither facebook messenger, or even snapchat.
The rom looks very stable, and I only notice lag sometimes, it's not perfect, but works. Much better then stock 5.02.

How do you install xposed? Do you have xposed framework for this device (recovery or other way)?
Thanks

You will need ther recovery, but you can use this apk to install it:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/material-design-xposed-installer-t3137758
When you install this apk, do not update the app (even if it says that exists an update), because it breaks the xposed framework installation from the app.
This version does almost everything for you.
If you update the app, you will need to download the xposed .zip from xda, and install it from xposed, because for some reason, the app can't find the xposed framework anymore.
I hope I helped you.

Tahnks. Already have apk installed, xposed working and forced the IMEI through apk, but it only changes IMEI from dialing *#06#. If you go to phone testing - *#*#4636#*#* you can verify the IMEI is still 0 (zero).
I Use ORION OS on both of my LG D415's.
Its been a while and I wanted to follow up on this subject. What is the current most stable ROM? Really going for no issues and stability as I would like to give this phone to a relative.
I'm using the second to last nightly build from 12/12/2016. Has been good for me. Honestly, I would use the lineage os that slim built. Only caveat, it is not root. A patch for that will probably be available soon. https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=70643376&postcount=972
OR
slimrom 2.0 https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-l90/development/rom-slimrom-marshmallow-t3298337
I have been using RR for a few days now and has been stable and fast. I also noticed a big increase in battery life.
I've made a terrible mistake, rooting and installing a custom rom. There are so many bugs with the roms out there. Some rom won't boot my device and all roms have a volume problem. I can't hear anything, the in call volume is too low as well as the speakerphone. I've missed my office today as the alarm wasn't loud enough. Please I want to go back to Stock and keep root only. I need a guide or a youtube video would be much helpful. Right now I'm in xtended rom of MI max 2. The photos that I take with stock camera turns out to be green. The latest version of the rom won't boot the phone so I go back and download the older version. The gaps that came with the rom will not continue finish setting up the Google account ?I've waited for 30 minutes or so but no help. I can't sync anything or install anything without Google. This phone is so buggy right now ? I need to go back to the original rom.
I've tried Pixel experience and on that rom all the apps crash for the first launch. I've to edit and remove few lines from the Pixel experience rom to install it as it was giving some error 7 in twrp
use Xiaomitool to go back to stock all you need to do is turn on developer options and enable adb settings
https://www.xiaomigeek.com/download-xiaomi-mi-flash-tool.html
download it install it connect your phone install any drivers and just follow the prompts in the tool
Before that you please give a try for MIUIPRO or MIUIAM or xiaomi.eu BETA ROMS which are very popular and having lot of custamaisations.

Alright, are these roms from developers? or just users? I'm gonna try a rom from xiaomi.eu. I hope the audio is fixed here

Only Oreo based custom ROMs have audio issues. All other ROMs work just fine.
I've tried 3 different ROMs in my new X526.
Lineage 15.1, Pixel ROM and now I'm running Arrow ROM.
The error shows up some seconds after running google photos which is trying to synchronise my collection
"Unfortunately Camera Has Stopped Working".
Is there a workaround in order to fix it?
I'm a little bit frustrated.
Thanks in advance.
Camera is an issue with new ROMs since the kernel sources are of marshmallow, but you can look around the particular section to minimize this issue

I am not really a huge fan of getting the bleeding edge ROM for my device.
I just want to work everything as it should be without annoying problems.
Maybe I should go back to an older android build.
Suggestions? Maybe Havoc?
Miui 10 and lineage nougat are pretty much okay for daily use. You could go for RR too
