AICPAndroid Ice Cold ProjectAICP is known by everyone as the "Ice Cold Project" that started on a Desire HD years ago (2012) and since then has evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community that you can find!!!
Until Android Lollipop, the ROM has always been based on AOKP. Unfortunately, since AOKP stopped development (but made a comeback later), we changed our base to CM.
With the re-brand of CM to LineageOS (LOS) we became LineageOS based with some tweaks from AOSP and we are now based on the "Ground Zero Open Source Project" (GZOSP) for Android Pie.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them out or the GZOSP team, if it concerns their code base. This ROM isn't GZOSP supported, so there is no need to report errors/bugs to them!!

The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android Pie. You don't need to install any Add-on's, simply download the latest ROM, GApps, flash it and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM Zipfile.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
How to flash for the first time:
(Again: Don't do it if you don't know it!)
1. Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
2. Boot to recovery (TWRP recommended).
3. Wipe the System, Cache, and Data (you might need to format the data partition!).
4. Flash the ROM Zipfile.
5. Flash the GApps (optional, needed for e.g. Google Playstore to work).
6. Reboot and set up your device, enable developer settings and in them OEM unlock/Advanced reboot/USB tethering.
7. Reboot back into TWRP recovery.
8. Flash the root solution of your choice (optional).
9. Reboot your device.
The procedure might vary from device to device and is a bit different on system updates!

MoKee Open Source is the biggest non-profit Android Open Source development team in China, with members from all parts of the world. We follow the latest development from Google closely and improve various parts of Android according to the user habits. Being a non-profit organisation, we utilise our spare time and own funds to keep this passion alive. Therefore, the costs for the forum and servers are solely beared by us. In order to provide a good user experience, we only included a few preinstalls in the ROM. Along with the advertisements in the forum; we hardly get enough to pay for the bandwidth. The point is, those are our only source of income, however many developers choose to exclude them when releasing unofficial builds. Unlike CyanogenMod, we did not accept monetary help at the early stages, as in China, most people do not understand the meaning of “making a donation”. They would think of it as buying a service, which is conflicting with our objectives. Anyways, we still made it until today, and even started to provide third party developers a chance to utilise our OTA system. All of these are the fruit of our hard work and passion. We are proud of the happy users, and we are also proud of the support given to MoKee Open Source. Most importantly, we are proud of the improvements we have achieved all these while, and the advancements never stop.

- Bluetooth.
- Camera (torch works though).
- Sensors (for auto-rotate, landscape...).
- ADB commands (such as adb logcat...)
- RIL works, but about 70-80% of the times.
- Use MagiskHide to pass SafetyNet.
- Disable Wi-Fi & Bluetooth scanning in location settings in order to fix deep-sleep issue (it comes disabled by default).
- All the other stuff not mentioned above is working.
Do NOT expect any support if you:
- are not running the kernel included by default
- have installed any mods such as Xposed!
- have modified system files

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit: Gerrit Code Review.

I share this rom, which I built 'from source' for a friend.
He uses this rom in his 'old' phone for a route planner in his car.
I know it is a bit outdated but it is a stable rom and it works.
It has the sucurity-update from october 2021.
When more people uses it, I could update it regularly and publish.
Have fun with it.
N ovember security update.
When you are already using this rom, you can dirty flash the new update.
As known:
- Copy rom and gapps to phone
- Reboot to recovery.
- Make a backup in TWRP.
- Wipe system, Dalvik and cache.
- Flash new rom and gapps.
- Reboot and enjoy.
I used/tested this for around a day and I had no issues.
D ecember security update.
New build.
This build is somewhat snapier now. I used the kernel from:
[Unofficial][9.0.0][microG][signed]LineageOS 16.0 for Osprey from MSe1969.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...rog-signed-lineageos-16-0-for-osprey.4095453/
You can dirty flash his ROM over my build if you like. I did test it myself and it worked.
I wish everyone good health and happiness in 2022 .
New build.
Security-update jan.2022
New build with February 2022 ASB patches.
Please read the clarifying explanation from @MSe1969:
[ROM][Unofficial][9.0.0][microG][signed]LineageOS 16.0 for Osprey
Welcome back! This thread is dedicated to provide Lineage-OS 16.0 builds for the Motorola Moto G 2015 (Osprey) with current security patches. You can consider this thread as kind of a successor of my LineageOS 14.1 Osprey thread Well, and as...
forum.xda-developers.com
In addition: last year the LineageOS team did include the android-security-updates in Lineage-15.1 on a irregular base. So it is possible that this will happen also with Lineageos-16.0. In that case you can see the security-update-date in your build.
For now: this is a custom update.
New build.
With all the updates from February upto now, Lineage has implemented in the build from 20220105.
The notification 'Security-update jan.2022' - will stay in system.
I'm sorry to say, but the build from 2022-09-15 was the last one.
On my PC I've lost my repository from Lineage-16.0 with a lot of handmade adjustments.
And it is too much work to try and renew all of these.
But as you know my builds were almost the same as the builds from Mse1969.
It was a pleasure to be able to make some builds, which were appreciated by some of you.

You tell...
Literally.
This phone is my main phone so i cant debug other things before fixing the RIL.
So I need someone else for debugging. But most things should work without a problem.
The ROM should contain everything you need to enjoy Android 8.1. You don't need to install any Add-ons, simply download the latest ROM and GApps, then follow the flashing instructions and go!
If you want the device to run the ROM "rooted", you can flash a root solution of your choice after the ROM zip file.
It is STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing and please avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup (or with any backup/restore app) as this can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug, restoring regular apps is fine though.
If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience any strange behavior.
How to flash for the first time:
(Again: Don't do it if you don't know!)
1. Download the ROM and GApps and transfer them to your device.
2. Boot to recovery (TWRP is recommended, the lineage recovery is a great alternative however, it will not decrypt the internal storage so you will have to flash the rom with adb sideload or usb OTG or with an external sdcard).
3. Wipe the System (DO NOT WIPE THE SYSTEM ON A/B DEVICES!), Cache, and Data (you might need to format the data partition!).
4. Flash the ROM zip file (reboot to recovery before flashing anything else if you have an "A/B" device).
5. Flash the GApps (optional, needed for e.g. Google Playstore to work)
6. Reboot and set up your device.
7. You can then reboot to recovery and flash the root solution of your choice if you want to, and then boot back to the system.
The procedure may vary from device to device and is a bit different on system updates!
The ROM has GApps persistence in between dirty flashes, so you only have to flash them once! This might differ on A/B Devices.
Currently supported Root Solution:
Magisk stable
Magisk versions >= 20.4 don't usually need to be flashed on every dirty flash.
Depending on the device, you may need to flash it every time, unless your maintainer says otherwise, you should be fine.
Instructions for OTA ("Over-The-Air" Updates) on "A only" devices (not A/B):
TWRP recovery is needed to be able to flash using the built-in OTA app.
Please make sure that you are on the latest TWRP recovery, keep in mind that this could also be an unofficial version!
On encrypted devices, you will have to enter your PIN/password in TWRP before the process starts.
Open the updater app, download the update, then press install, press reboot when prompted, you will be taken to TWRP, there isn't any need to flash GApps separately
Instructions for OTA ("Over-The-Air" Updates) on "A/B" devices:
Open the updater app, download the update, then press install and wait for the process to finish (feel free to let it run in the background), then press reboot when prompted, there isn't any need to flash GApps separately
