But you still have to wait 72hrs to be able to unlock. I also got unlock permission quick, around 10 minutes. Must be automated.

Question about Unlock bootloader

I have a serval question about unlocking Mi A2 Bootloader
1. Do unlock bootloader void xiaomi's hardware warranty?
I have heard that xiaomi still have hardware warranty even you unlock bootloader is that true?
2. Do unlock bootloader have permanent message on screen while boot even I relock bootloader?
my previous device Moto M have message bootloader has been unlocked while boot, and this message won't disappear even I relock bootloader.
3. To unlock Mi A2, just fastboot oem unlock is it enough?
I have heard that xiaomi need to wait 15 days to get a special tool from xiaomi to unlock bootloader. but in XDA post look like fastboot oem unlock is enough. it so weird...
Thank you for your answer.

1. No, you will not void warranty
2. When you unlock bootloader you will have message on your screen, after you lock it again, there is no message, everything is like stock.
3. fastboot oem unlock and fastboot flashing unlock_critical those two commands are enough
If you have xiaomi phone with miui, than you need to wait for unlock approval, around 72 hours, maybe less maybe more, it depends... When you have android one device, you do not need to wait, you can unlock your phone instantly.

Rooted miui 12 but Bootloader locked. Is it safe?

Hi all,
Couple of days back, my k20 pro (Indian) had unlocked Bootloader and was rooted.
Everything was working fine. Then I did something wrong and it stuck on MiUI logo.
I then tried to restore TWRP backup(boot, system, data). After reboot, it got stuck on FASTBOOT logo.
Then i flashed miui stock firmware with miflash tool (CLEAN ALL was ticked, NOT clean all+lock)
It worked then i again rooted it. It's now working fine. Also showing Bootloader locked few hours back but now its showing Bootloader is Locked in developer option.
It also show popup sometime
"Mi find device closes unexpectedly"
So, is it safe that Bootloader is locked? Will mi flash tool work if something goes wrong in future?

You should unlock your bootloader. If the bootloader is locked and anything goes wrong then you will have to go for EDL flash. So, unlocking will be a good idea
I am wondering if it is even possible to have a rooted device with the bootloader locked.

Yes, i just checked by switching it off and on. Its showing Bootloader unlocked icon at top while switching ON.
But why its showing locked in developer option?
Also, Find device not working, gives error Find device stopped unexpectedly
