Hi i'm using the Rog tencent edition with both firmware and fingerprint coverted to WW. For the past few updates, I've been downloading the Raw update and entering fastboot mode to update them through cmd prompt Flashall_aft.cmd.
Ps, Tried to placed the update file in system memory and restarted phone to update it but the update fails
Im intending to update to Android 10 beta 9 but I've noticed that the latest Raw file i could get is Android 10 beta 6. The rest are the small updates file from beta 6-7, 7-8, 8-9 onwards.
Just wondering whether if i Flashall_aft it to beta 6, can i flashall_aft to update from beta 6 to beta 7 with the small update file (100mb++) or I have to get the whole Android 10 beta 9 Raw file (1Gb++) to update it?
If so, where can i get the Raw beta 9 update file?

This is something I've been looking into in order to find newer, older, and unreleased updates for the Mi Mix 2.
Ideally, I'd like to figure out a way to get Xiaomi's nightly builds, which go out to only beta testers. I think I'm close, but any help I can get would be awesome.
I currently have two methods. One of them is rather difficult, the other is rather easy. Let's start with the easy one.
Method 1: Example 1
http://update.miui.com/updates/mi-updateV6.php?v=MIUI-7.9.21&c=7.1&d=chiron_global&b=X
This is a URL which asks for an update to the unreleased MIUI 9 7.9.21 global edition.
If you visit this URL, you get the following response:
Code:
{"UserLevel":9,"LatestVersion":{"type":"rom","device":"chiron_global","name":"XM-MIMIX2-GLOBAL 7.9.21","description":"MIUI\u5347\u7ea7","descriptionUrl":"http:\/\/update.miui.com\/updates\/updateinfo\/7.9.21\/chiron_global_0_7.9.21_4494ccfcc506caca9904efb74b489e0a.html","md5":"7f94ca393fae77c6171e6c7a551bea2e","filename":"miui_MIMIX2Global_7.9.21_7f94ca393f_7.1.zip","filesize":"1.6G","codebase":"7.1","version":"7.9.21","branch":"X"},"UpdateList":[{"type":"rom","device":"chiron_global","name":"XM-MIMIX2-GLOBAL 7.9.21","description":"","descriptionUrl":"http:\/\/update.miui.com\/updates\/updateinfo\/7.9.21\/chiron_global_0_7.9.21_4494ccfcc506caca9904efb74b489e0a.html","md5":"7f94ca393fae77c6171e6c7a551bea2e","filename":"miui_MIMIX2Global_7.9.21_7f94ca393f_7.1.zip","filesize":"1.6G","codebase":"7.1","version":"7.9.21","branch":"X"}],"IncrementalUpdateList":[],"MirrorList":["http:\/\/bigota.d.miui.com"],"Signup":{"version":"","total":"","rank":""},"AuthResult":0,"ForceUpdate":0
We can piece together looking at this that the update file can be downloaded at:
http://bigota.d.miui.com/7.9.21/miui_MIMIX2Global_7.9.21_7f94ca393f_7.1.zip
Method 1 Example 2
It was announced today that there was a new Chinese stable release pushed only to some phones called 8.5.7.0.NDECNEF. We can modify the parameters in the URL to get this:
http://update.miui.com/updates/mi-updateV6.php?v=MIUI-V8.5.7.0.NDECNEF&c=7.1&d=chiron&b=S
This returns the following:
Code:
{"UserLevel":9,"LatestVersion":[],"UpdateList":[{"type":"rom","device":"chiron","name":"XM-MIMIX2 V8.5.7.0.NDECNEF","description":"","descriptionUrl":"http:\/\/update.miui.com\/updates\/updateinfo\/V8.5.7.0.NDECNEF\/chiron_0_V8.5.7.0.NDECNEF_a9374e7e6aa4f38a22fd58aae29337ce.html","md5":"487f34ee14e84d0eb9ed280a059bcc65","filename":"miui_MIMIX2_V8.5.7.0.NDECNEF_487f34ee14_7.1.zip","filesize":"1.4G","codebase":"7.1","version":"V8.5.7.0.NDECNEF","branch":"F"}],"IncrementalUpdateList":[],"MirrorList":["http:\/\/bigota.d.miui.com"],"Signup":{"version":"","total":"","rank":""},"AuthResult":0,"ForceUpdate":0}
And that lets us know that the update can be found at:
http://bigota.d.miui.com/V8.5.7.0.NDECNEF/miui_MIMIX2_V8.5.7.0.NDECNEF_487f34ee14_7.1.zip
So now that we see that we have a way to query for downloads, let's look into some of the parameters.
At a minimum we need the following:
v=MIUI-V8.5.7.0.NDECNEF - This is the version with which you are querying.
c=7.1 - This is the build of Andoid. It's Android 7.1 so we put 7.1
d=chiron - This is the device. For Chinese Mix 2 firmwares it's chiron. For global it's chiron_global
You might also notice this:
b=S - S means stable. X means weekly. Actually, there is a whole list as follows, but not sure how accurate it is:
Code:
«S» — monthly build
«X» — weekly build
«D» — daily build
«E» — emegency build
«F» — stable build
«A» — experimental build
«I» — internal build
«T» — top secret build
«U» — unstable build
On top of this, there are more possible parameters. I will get around to these when talking about Method 2.
Right now, I can't access anything but weekly and stable builds, so there are not really any undiscovered/unannounced/internal builds that I've been able to find. But I think we are on the right track to being able to find them. I'm hoping that other people can continue looking using this information, and we'll see if we can find anything. Stay tuned while I update this post with Method 2, which is much more complex and much more likely to yield results.

I used sdat2img.py to convert the system data to something flashable. Then I looked up which partitions need to be flashed where by checking a flash-all.bat file, and followed that format using fastboot to flash each partition.
But... there's no reason to flash this. It's not a public release and it doesn't really do anything better than other choices. I think flashing xiaomi.eu is a better choice.

The global dev builds will always be newer and include the most recent bug fixes and security patches, so that's no surprise the stable was built before any of the recent developer ROMs.

Are you currently in beta ROM? If so, you can just check the update in the updater. If not, you can download it in miui forums. I suggest eu miui though, here's the link to eu https://sourceforge.net/projects/xi.../files/xiaomi.eu/MIUI-WEEKLY-RELEASES/9.4.11/

Let's discuss pros and cons on this Rom.
1. Performance
2. Battery
3. Features
4. Improvement
5. Found Bugs or Lags
Cheers
Downloaded via DownMi. I cannot install it as i get the message ''packet cannot be verified. Sorry flash to this stable version is not allowed'' . Do i have to install via Recovery Mode? Do i have to unlock bootloader?
It's for testers registered in program. you can sideload it via TWRP
When i click on update button in settings i get a 2gb update of V11.0.11.0PCOMIXM . I didn't receive the newest v12 update yet
Nothing Android 10 Gesture
Do you know when it´s going to arrive as an OTA update? i think this beta is only for the ones who are registered in the MI PILOT

Hello, sorry for this noob question. For sideloading (TWRP), what's the installation instruction?

Hi all,
The first beta for Android 12 on Rog Phone 3 is finally out!
I found these instructions to install manually on XDA website :
"Download Android 12 Beta 1 for the ROG Phone 3
You can sideload the Android 12 beta on your ROG Phone 3 using the incremental OTA zip given below. After downloading, rename the file as UL-ASUS_I003_1-ASUS-31.0210.0210.160-1.1.5-user.zip and place it in the root of the internal storage. Next, reboot the device and check the OTA notification to perform the update.
ASUS ROG Phone 3
Android 12 Beta 1 (31.0210.0210.160)
Incremental from 18.0410.2203.201"
They're speaking about incremental update from 18.0410.2203.201.
Mine is actually on update 18.0410.2106.138. but when I search for new updates, it finds nothing.
May I update from 18.0410.2106.138 to the first beta of Android 12? Is it safe??

Hey please any file to downgrade from this particular A12 beta to A11? Please help. I upgraded to beta A12 with this incremental file about 2 months ago. Now tried upgrading to stable A12, showing update failed. Also tried downgrading from my current beta A12 to A11, still showed update failed. So any special file to downgrade from this beta A12 to A11 so i can now upgrade to stable A12?
Hi, I have a xiaomi mi 11t pro, I have the security patches as of December 1st 2021, Android 11 and MIUI 12.5.19, the model is a European RKDEUXM, I have read on some sites that the new version of MIUI with android 13 is available only for the SKDEUXM model, why?
Is there a roadmap for when the new (OTA) version of MUI will be released for my model as well?
I find it absurd that a 500 euro smartphone has security patches six months ago ...

There was mess with updates and there were two roads of updating:
12.5.16 - 12.5.19 (stable beta) - 13.0.8 - 13.0.9 - 13.0.10
12.5.16 - 12.5.20 - 12.5.21 - 13.0.9 - 13.0.10

People who had 12.5.19 got MIUI 13 much earlier than people with 12.5.20. It wasn't possible to update from 12.5.20 to 13.0.8 (first MIUI 13 update), but no problem with 12.5.19 stable beta 12.5.21 was released after 13.0.8 for people with 12.5.20.

He doesn't need 12.5.20 and anything else! 12.5.19 was updated to 13.0.8, not to 12.5.20 or 12.5.21. It's not possible to update to these versions. Don't mislead him.

So, why I've got OTA from 12.5.19 to 13.0.8 and people with 12.5.20 had to wait for 12.5.21 and later for 13.0.9?

Xiaomi mess and depend region.
Not to mention he needs to download full recovery rom not the "update file", as like I said I have the phone as well and updated it multiple times now via the recovery file and especially EEA one
and it did not need 2 be in any folder like the xiaomi site states.

Yes, but he can install 13.0.8 without any problems. Xiaomi did so. He just need to change region or install manually V13.0.8.0.SKDEUXM. That's all. Don't complicate that.

Everything is on my first post (still should have consulted it) and what works for you does not necessarily work for others. That's all

Exactly. You just choose zip package in explorer. Folder does not matter.

It was official road (1 of 2) of updating and it works. I showed them in #3. These ways people got OTA.
