Can't update TWRP

Hello,
I am trying to install a newer TWRP (https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3557606) for Carbon Mod custom rom. I tried:
- install .img with TWRP in TWRP
- flashify
- official app TWRP from google play
- fastboot commands with "platform-tools"
Everywhere I get a message that everything went fine but in TWRP I still have the old version - 3.0.0.2 :/
I am asking for help because I have been fighting this from two days :/
I have unlocked bootloader, stock prerooted firmware .291 + EliteKernel v3.
Does it matter if I have dualrecovery?
I've got the same issue. I have also got dualrecovery. Did you have any luck? How do you access the dual recovery?

If in "dual recovery" you mean two versions of TWRP; I have two versions of TWRP on my Z3C.
My older version 3.1.1-0 is accessed by simply pressing the power button the same as turning on the phone. Release when the phone vibrates. When the green light appears in the top-left corner, I press and hold the down-volume until the light turns pink. It then boots to that TWRP recovery.
If I instead: while "pressing and holding down" the down-volume; then press and hold the power button. When the phone vibrates, I release the power button; then the Sony logo appears, release the volume-down. The phone then boots to the other recovery, which in my case is TWRP 3.2.3-0
.

restart with magisk

I have a rooted n970f. Ig is rooted wtih magisk. But when i reboot phone i am loosing root.
I must use combo key while i reboot phone not to loose root acces. I must press both volume up and power key for a few second and then release the buttons. Then root is ok.
So anyone know to fix this problem? Maybe a profile can be used not to use the combo key while opening the phone?
A magisk boot image for your device is to be flashed to the boot partition.
In my case, I have Galaxy S10 G973F. A magisk boot image was provided by the Rom developer together with the Rom I'm currently using (lineageos 17.1).

Black screen on startup and bootloader

My phone works normally but the screen is completely black while it is initializing, it is also completely black in the bootloader, to enter recovery I press down twice without any visual information and confirm. Within Recovery and the system the screen works normally
I have had this problem for many months and the device continues to function normally, without crashes or restarts
Does reflashing ROM not fix it?
5 star!

You flash twrp https://twrp.me/motorola/motorolamotog6.html use fastboot boot twrp.img
and then install magisk manager app https://magiskmanager.com/
Then on magisk manager app you download magisk zip and install it with twrp

Magisk patched recovery boot freeze

I somehow managed a while back to patch EMUI 9.10.387 with Magisk and got it to boot every time with the patched image without having to press power + vol+. All was fine...
Then, I stupidly updated Magisk modules (running v23) and pressed "reboot now" after the upgrade instead of powering off and rebooting. The phone went into a bootloop then I managed to boot to erecovery without recovering the phone. After that the phone booted normally BUT without magisk.
Since then, I have flashed several times the recovery (fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk xxx") with previously working recovery_ramdisk images. After flashing, when holding power + vol+ the phone displays the "short" warning message (there is a long one displaying options) boots but then gets stuck at the Huawei logo.
Now I can only boot the phone without holding vol+ and then it does boot but without magisk.
Any idea about what happened and how to get magisk back?
I forgot to add that strangely all standard Huawei apps I had removed (pm uninstall) are back: mirror, huawei wallet...etc.
I think I found the culprit. Since the issue appeared after updating magisk, I assume one module must have caused the issue. I found a guide on how to delete magisk modules from TWRP (google it).
I flashed TWRP, booted into TWRP and used the file manager. One issue: data is encrypted and so the folders displayed garbage AND instead of deleting /data/adb/modules I deleted a bunch of folders in /data/adb...
Once done I rebooted and reinstalled Magisk: it asked to install more stuff, confirmed and rebooted. All fine.
Don't touch a working system!

Question Flashed custom rom, phone reboots into twrp and now i'm stuck

Flashed my Note 11 which was on Android 11 by twrp 3.6.1. When the install was done i rebooted and the phone reboots into twrp. What can i do next?
Edit: it now only boots into fastboot, regardless if i only press just the power button or the power button + volume down.
New attempts: the custom rom zip file on the phone is disappeared so i have to use ADB sideload to flash the rom by the pc. When the process is done i get the following error, see picture.
Did "format data" in twrp and it boots now normally.
