Any Oreo or Pie BL will work, Pie preferred.
This has been running great on my US997 compared to Havoc and Pixel Experience. I always experienced random crashes and I'm pretty sure they broke my microphone as well but I'm yet to test that on this ROM. Stability just seems so much better and little things like loading animations in apps aren't choppy. As far as customization, I don't think I'm loosing anything coming from Havoc. Also, is the microphone that's used in calls known to not work on the US997 or is it just a hardware issue? I can use the other one when switching to speakerphone in calls but I'm yet to find a fix. Thanks for the awesome ROM, I feel like I've finally found the one.
complete phone settings
Hi,
I agree,... a better rom than HAVOC but ....
for some reason I keep getting the 'Complete your Phone settings' (setup Wizard?) popop
and even if I complete it, a few minutes later it pops up again ...
how can I stop that?

Have you tried video call? If not try video call and see if mic works. If so try to install FB messenger lite and check if mic works without video
I'm trying to reinstall this ROM, but when I go to the Drive link, it says "Download quota exceeded for this file , so you can't download it at this time" Can you fix it please? I'm trying to download it for my US997.
Thanks
So, i installed this rom few days ago.
It's really really nice, fast and smooth, but i found two bugs.
1.) The Gesture Navigation is sometimes a bit laggy, so i can't close a app. (Not really important to me)
2.) When i get called and are connected to my bluetooth headphones, the ring tone comes out of my phone speaker and not the headphones. So the music i'm listening to comes out of my headphones but the ring tone out of my G6 H870 :/
Can someone help me?
Great effort ?? lovely rom .
I have some issues need help .
1. There is no download progress bar in play store . Is this a rom related or gapps issue ?
2.FPS info is not working.
3. Recovery issue, whenever I flash something or wipe , it always gives an error at the end " unable to mount storage"
Still everything working despite the error .
App backup
This ROM seems like a perfect option for me.. I want to install it but I have some questions because I'm not experienced in flashing custom ROMs etc.. So I'm currently on Oreo, LG H872.. I would like to backup all of my apps and data, and i planned to do it via Titanium Backup... But then, I'm not sure should I backup my Gapps via Titanium and that way get it back alongside with its data after i flash new ROM or I should do it some other way? I really need to have all apps and their data, and i read Titanium can do it, but I'm not sure for Gapps.. And some other apps like Google Authenticator, will Titanium backup its data as well so i can have credentials after flashing ROM. Thanks.
Hi Guys, I really want to try this ROM on my G6 H870. I'm on official LG Pie and i need to know if unlocking bootloader and flashing TWRP may afflict some apps not working, as banking app, streaming app. I also want to know if radio Fm works with this ROM.
Thanks guys
Dre93
IMO the best LG G6 rom at the moment. Very stable and has all important features.
Does this ROM fast charge? I have really low (300mA) charges with it.
Whats gapps are you using with this ROM?

Solution for all fingerprint issues:
1. Download latest Oreo stock fastboot from Xiaomi
2. Flash using miflash with full wipe and lock
3. Once you get to setup wizard don't setup anything, reboot back to bootloader
4. Flash userdata image from august nougat stock
5. Format userdata to get correct userdata size
6. Boot latest TWRP and flash latest Cardinal Rom
7. Flash TWRP (optional)
8. Reboot into recovery and flash latest magisk (optional)
After this all 5 fingerprints will work fine including delete, no more left over fingerprint after deleting, solution is permanent unless you downgrade to nougat stock, then you have to do the procedure again.

Known Issues Android 11**
Medium priority:
1. Miracast not working / soft crash - (working on it....new build sooon) fixed in 9/28 build.
2. Vulkan drivers are currently not working, OGL is far superior on kenzo, will eventually look into it.
Low Priority :
AOD might cause a blackscreen, when turning on (low priority to fix), not a freeze you can recover by taping the power btn, I don't think many people are using AOD with LCD screens due to bat drain.
Screenshots
I would Like to personally thank:
@ magicxavi : For his device trees, many kenzo roms would not be possible without them., thanks for keeping the kenzo going!
Moca Rafee : For helping me compile and fix some errors, also keeping the kenzo going, and releasing some awesome roms.
@ sagar.rokade.982 for his great CAF roms, and helping out.
@ AmolAmrit For all his original work, kenzo would of been history a long time ago.
Plus others I forgot to mention.

Yeah that's one (of the many) bugs with Snap Camera, this is why some roms are getting rid of Snap camera in favor of GCam go or stock, I opted to keep Snap cam because of the slow motion / high frame rate recording options, which are still not found in any other camera.

Make sure you are using the latest TWRP or Orange Fox recovery,
format the data partition (note this will erase internal storage too so make a backup), then wipe cache, dalvik cache and System partitions, install the rom zip, install gapps, and magisk 20.4 (if you want root).
---------
everyone:
Next update is coming soon, should I include the face unlck in the rom?, it currently has a bug where you need to use a black theme on first face setup, but seems to work good after initial setup, I want to build the most stable rom, so I haven't decided if I will include it or not.
OP, please check Gallery Go in this rom is having wierd ordering/sorting. I just like to have newer photo shown first.
Btw, no use face unlock, I need stable rom. Thanks

Awesome ROM! Stable, smooth, responsive and battery friendly.
@HeltonMax - thank you for your work, now I understand why you have abandoned the RR project
To everybody reporting bugs - I think the key is to install it properly: 1. fresh stock Pie, 2. twrp 3.5, 3. double format, 4. wipe everything, including internal memory, 5. flash rom and install all the stuff from scratch - not from backup. At least I did it this way and it worked like a charm.
@HeltonMax : four issues/questions though:
1. incoming calls - always vibration, then increasing ringtone - regardless of ringing option I choose (Settings -> Sound -> Incoming calls vibration) - is it some glitch or am I doing something wrong?
2. didn't find option to wake the phone with volume keys - is it present at some secret hidden place?
3. didn't find the option to define lockscreen shortcuts - for example camera on the right and some widget on the left. Is it possible somehow?
4. I really miss System Profiles option (Car, Default, Silent - and so on, with bluetooth triggers - which is very useful when pairing phone with car each time). Would it be possible for you to include this functionality?
Best regards @HeltonMax and all the DotOS crew!
@HeltonMax : about the above 4 points - I found some additional info about no. 1: disabling Pocket mode causes vibration to work normally. Enabling it causes that on incoming call there is only one vibration, then only sound and no vibration. Can the Pocket mode be set somehow, or this has to work that way? I mean that vibration in Pocket mode would be useful
Best regards!

Would you say its good enough to upgrade from RR right now?
Yep. Equally battery friendly. Full moto mod battery and jbl support. Unfortunately no as customizable as RR - but on the other hand Android 11, which is good. I would definately stay on this rom and use it as a daily driver, but in a meantime some bluetooth connection issue emerged - I've reported it to HeltonMax, still awaiting for response (the man is busy I guess)
Wait a while, maybe HeltonMax will figure it out - I'm really counting on it!
Right now I'm on PE by jeangraff30, but unfortunately it likes juice a bit too much - although it is rock solid stable and really good looking, I have to admit
Which RR do you use?
@Neogx : after some updates (Android System Webview for example) this ROM behaves better and better, almost perfect. I think you could already try it, it is already perfect successor of RR. Last three days I've been using it as a daily driver - and no complaints, only some short wishlist. We will see how HeltonMax will react to it
Two issues so far:
1) JBL mod volume is only 0 or 100% - no steps between... with the last version 20210517 it works OK - thank you!
2) Android Auto doesn't allow to use phone, although the access is granted in Applications submenu. I've tried all the hints I have found - but it seems to be some internal system problem. Correct me please if someone knows a way to fix it.
Overall impression besides those two: great ROM! Thanks @HeltonMax !
Yep, actually very good ROM, I'm using it for about 1 month and it was very stable, without hiccups and reboots. Just two questions, 1) is there an option to change the music with volume buttons? Usually the majority of ROMs have this option included, but I couldn't find it on this Rom and 2) is there a posibility to disable screen gestures while the navbar is also disabled? I would like to use only fingerprint for navigation, without screen gestures. Anyway, thanks for making this ROM possible

To disable on-screen gestures: nav_disable, then go to settings / system / gestures and activate the three buttons on the screen
@Helton, First of all: thanx for your work, Bro'!
Second: I've seen the Official (5.1 version) release of the DotOS in the DotOS website. The Golden question: can I flash the 5.1 over the 5.0 version? Or I wait your release here?
Peace and love for you all! Big hug from RS-Br.
Very, very nice rom! I've flashed the last unofficial version with CameraGo and it works almost perfect.
A couple of issues though:
1) Android Auto still doesn't want to use the phone app. I've checked the same configuration (AA version and permissions) on Havoc (also by HeltonMax) - and it works OK, so it seems that there's something missing in the rom itself,
2) how the photo resolution in CameraGo can be changed? Or it is just what it is and cannot be changed? It would be odd...
3) after installing youtube app I can send it's picture through wifi to my samsung tv, but when I try to send the phone screen through system Send Screen - it searches a device for a while, and that's it - never finds any...
4) I've disabled the g-assistant and would like to assign screen recording function to a left shortcut in lockscreen. How can I do this?
Great job @HeltonMax! Congratulations on going official. Did you think of going official also with Havoc rom?

Anyone tried it out? Bugs?
Found one bug yet: "Hey Google" doesn't work.
Rest works like a charm
Very smooth and snappy. Changed animation timing to zero, now very snappy
Bug Report (may be hardware related, maybe source related) Bluetooth doesn't seem to work for me in most if not all Android 12 roms I've tried, including this one. I go to turn it on, it stays stuck on turning on bt, then when you navigate away from either QS or in settings > connections > bt, then go back to it, it has turned off again. Tried with and without Magisk 24.3 installed as a zip immediately after installing rom, still happens.
Tried this rom dated 2022-04-15, LineageOS 19.1 - 2022-04-12, Project Elixir 1.5, and ArrowsOS (both Vanilla with at first go NikGapps and the FlameGapps, and GAPPS) version 2022-03-17. All were data wiped, then wiped system, vender, cache, dalvik, data, and internal between installs. It seems to work under official Android 10 firmware, if that helps. Haven't tried under Android 11.
Using an Australian s9 Starlte
EDIT: Beginning to think it's a bt hardware issue, as I don't usually use bt under stock, due to only having one other device to connect to, being a laptop, and it being slower than molasses to transfer files via bt.
Solid rom.
I only use my older S9+ for connection to ext display, with all enabled in dev settings I can't get output using USB-C > HDMI or USB-C > DP+PD
Any others note this? Usually no issues on AOSP roms

if any one face same problem Boot the phone into recovery, then navigate to TWRP -> Advanced -> File Manager -> Data -> System -> Users -> 0. Here, delete all files with the name "Wallpaper" (usually the last ones) and reboot.

I think no since Vanilla builds will broken some features.
Since DerpFest itself is now EOL, so this thread also be closed.
Due to some accident with DerpFest, so all the sources has been deleted and I couldn't maintain it anymore.
Thread closed at OP's request.
